  1. I like the brand corsair for ram. Never had a problem with it. Motherboards with 4 slots for ram generally work like this: There will be 2 slots of 1 colour and 2 of another colour. If you have 2 of the exact same ram in the 2 slots of the same colour, it will be duel channel. My mother board has 2 blue and 2 yellow slots, so I put my 2x 1 gig 667mhz in each of the blue slots for it to work together. I could further add 2x 512 of the same type (or 2 of the same time as long as it's supported by the motherboard) The rest has been explained.
  2. They aren't worried about it taking far too long. They redid the whole game engine a while back just to stop 1 macro. They don't use it because Java is extremely limited with accessing computers.
  3. Its a rsc term. If someone borders it means they stand on the border for ages, occasionally running up to fight but then running out of the wilderness and standing on the border again. (The border is between the ditch, and where the wilderness starts.)
  4. I don't think Jagex could check a code like that with Java, it's pretty limited with things like that. Jagex isn't lying, but they do like to make people think their methods are more effective than what they are to discourage rule breakers, and keep legit players happy that things are being done. As far as I know, the biggest thing Jagex has to stop real world trading is in the trade system. All street prices are kept updated, and if one end of a trade is worth more than the other by a certain amount, the accounts are flagged and investigated. This is the reason why people can get banned for giving their friend free stuff.
  5. I've seen you before. I'm D3ad1y Mag3. I only saw you once but you seem to border much more than pk.
  6. Most item trading between accounts is through multi logging.
  7. Save your battle powers, when you have 2 or 3 and lou is about to get battle power in the middle of a hard part use the first, when it's about to wear out use the second. By then if you still haven't won he will at least be in the red and you will be close to getting your next battle power. In expert it's much harder because the song isn't easy to play anymore :(
  8. I'm in a similar situation, 39/43 on expert for me. Stuck on Raining blood and the number of the beast. I got the game a couple days ago and today I got sick of trying the same couple songs over and over so I finished the game on hard. (Started it on expert) Beating lou on expert is going to be interesting. As well as through fire and flames. Jaziek: Sounds like immature whining. It's not that big of a deal, just wait until you can play the game - it's worth the wait.
  9. I'm 16, 6'4" and I can touch the ring but can't dunk it.
  10. That's a fair bit of generalizing there. I've played f2p since 2002 and I only have about 5 Mill, simply because all I've been doing is pking, and making only enough money that I need for arrows etc.

  12. Experience rate is usually proportional to cost.
  13. That's where you're wrong. Half the macroers will be able to skip the middle man and send a packet directly to the server "open the door" The other half will have no problem in clicking the door. There has to be some way for players to find the door, the autoer will use the same method. Think again, see above. Eventually isn't really the best word to use. 'Within a week' would be more accurate. Jagex wouldn't add this because it annoy's players. Besides, this would only slow down the gold farmers, not the macroers. Gold farmers aren't breaking the rules until they sell what they've earned, and by then it's too late to ban anyway. Also, macroers don't concentrate on 1 skill, thats gold farmers.
  14. This is for a f2p hybrid, combat 65. I'm torn between 42 attack 94 strength 2 defense 1 prayer 91 ranged 70 magic 85 hp Max hit with r2h: 28 Max hit with range: 15 Max hit with scimmy: 22 OR 50 attack 86 strength 2 defense 1 prayer 91 ranged 70 magic 83 hp Max hit with r2h: 25 Max hit with range: 15 Max hit with scimmy: 21 My concern is whether to sacrifice strength for attack. I'm worried that I won't be able to hit through the defense with a r2h that people will have at 65 combat with only 42 attack, but I don't know how much of a difference the extra 8 levels will do. The higher max hit doesn't matter a whole lot unless I want to fight with a scimitar, Is the extra accuracy for the range/2h ko worth the lower strength?
  15. So let me get this straight. You bought something off a player for 75k more than what it's worth? How is this the player's fault in any way? He didn't force you to buy it, you could have bought it off someone else. Also, don't go on about how it's the easy way out. It's not the easy way out, it's the intelligent way out. It requires more intelligence to merchant than to mindlessly click coal rocks/sparkling water/flax/monsters for hours at a time. If you don't want to work with the market then good for you, just don't whine about people that do. Sorry but this game doesn't need less merchants, it needs less idiots like you.
  16. If you've 'managed to scrounge 11k from air running" then you aren't very patient. 11k from air running takes next to no time. Pick a skill and keep training it. I would go with fishing and cooking as it is fairly easy. Then start selling cooked lobsters.
  17. Dam. What does 5 years mean?

Nope, you can't, BUT if you've got a friend with plenty of music & which also includes the music you like, then take it around to his house, and sync it from his Itunes. but that means you can't then sync it from your own Itunes if you want to add some more songs, because the songs you gained from your friend will be removed. Actually you can if you change the ipod settings to show hidden files, then you can see and copy the music.

Grab an ipod video 30 gig on ebay. You can get a new one for about $220-$250 inc postage.
  22. A more accurate situation would be: Say you have $1000 in your bank account. That's your property, right? Say you get paid a profit of $15 a day between 15 people. ($1 each) But 5 other people also give you $1 a day, but scare away 2 or 3 of the other people. This is a $3 profit increase. These 5 people also feed starving people in africa in return for letting them give you money. (gold farmers buy membership, and annoy a very small amount of people enough to make them quit, the paying gold farmers easily outweigh the legit quitters)
  23. Minotaurs in the Stronghold of security. There is a safe spot and you will pick up more iron arrows from the drops than you will use. After you get to 60-65 then go to moss giants in the Varrok sewer.
