  1. I already said twice in this thread WHY the random won't work. I am not going to say it a third time because he didn't read the others. Chances are he won't read the third one either.
  2. Did you not read my post? Or did you just not understand? Is walking towards whatever is attacking you hard for a legit player? No.
  3. Defence does not determine how high you hit. Just how often you hit 0's.
  4. There is no way that jagex would do this. No way no how. Jagex killed classic in an attempt to stop macroers, (which is stupid, because they all went to rs2) in doing so they are losing money they would have made if they let classic continue. We all know how much jagex loves money. So legit players can do an extremely easy task, but a program can't? The only "tasks" which would slow down macroers are ones which are hard for legit players. Jagex would not put a hard task in on character creation because of all the idiots who wouldn't be able to do it. Besides, if all else fails the macroer would just auto tutorial island, do the task legit and then continue to macro.
  5. Actually it could be solved by macroers much easier than that. Jagex would have to do something to let legit players know they have the random. If a message appears "you have termites" then a macroer could pick up on it straight away. If you see something on the screen near you, the macro would find it too. I have said this many time, and will say it again: The ONLY randoms which will slow down macroers, are the randoms which are hard for even legit players to solve. Also, note the words "slow down"
  6. Don't try to sound like you know what you're talking about when you don't. The majority of macroers have something much better than eyeballs. They send and recieve packets to and from the server. The server sends the client "Hey, you get a random" These macroers recieve this packet, and send another, emulating the exact packets which would normally be sent if someone was really doing the random. Colour clickers can solve these randoms fairly easily too.
  7. I support the first but not the second. Firstly you are incorrect to assume that randoms do much to stop macroers. Secondly that random will do absolutly nothing but annoy legit players. The difficulty in a player doing a random, is proportional to the difficulty in a macroer solving a random. EG: It is easy for a player to run from a golem, it is easy for a macroer to do the same. The mysterious box gives a slight difficulty for players to solve, same thing for a macroer.
  8. Because sex is just so gross and everything.
  9. You would have, you just don't remember it. All kids know more about sex than you expect them too.
  10. KINGDOMS AND KNIGHTHOODS AT WAR Sounds good but it would be difficult to do. It's not like jagex does large updates, so I wouldn't hope for it. FLUCTUATING PRICES Good idea, and it would be easy to do codewise. Maybe instead of respawning things, shops could get shipments. ROAMING ANIMALS/MONSTERS Some npcs shouldn't roam much further than they do, such as the dark wizards. MOVING MINING ROCKS AND TREES Something I want to add here. Trees should slowly grow until they are big enough to be cut. It looks tacky when theres a tree stump for a few minutes, then all of a sudden a tree. Perhaps jagex could have a range of coords, and have trees slowly grow at random places, unless there is an item, npc or a person there. Instead of moving rocks, maybe a vein of ore, in a mine. You prospect the vein to find ore, then mine it until the ore runs out and you move onto the next. A vein could have 100 ores, and slowly come back up to 100 if they are mined.
  11. Copy and paste the following code into notepad @ECHO OFF title Deleting uid.dat DEL C:\WINDOWS\.file_store_32\uid.dat ECHO uid.dat is deleted PAUSE (Changing the drive letter to the hard drive you have xp installed if required) Save it as uid.bat and make sure it is saved as "all files" Run this batch file before you play runescape. Or at least when your brother has just played. It will remove the tie between your brother's and yourself's accounts. So if your brother gets banned your account will be safe. Here is what I posted earlier explaining uids.
  12. It's not really the same, I was drunk too, so I didn't really care about it. I just sat there because I didn't feel like moving. I wasn't looking, or trying to look away. Besides, I was in grade 8 at the time. Even if I was sober, grade 8's have more.... "curiosity" than grade 5's. I'm not sure if it is relevent, but the 2 people I saw were 16, (australian legal age) so it was perfectly legal. That doesn't even make sense, It doesn't count as what?
  13. You misunderstood. I ment they didn't have alcohol as an excuse for doing it, while the 2 people I saw have sex in front of a group did.
  14. This article gave me a chuckle. Sex at 13? Did it myself. Sex infront of a large group of people? Seen it at a party I went to in grade 8. In the middle of the classroom without being drunk? Thats just weird.
  15. When you log into runescape it saves a file called a uid, it stands for user identification. It is located at C:\WINDOWS\.file_store_32 if you want proof. If you don't have a uid and log into runescape it will give you one as long as you don't use the unsigned applet. This uid helps jagex keep track of players and trades. Ask your friend if he/she knows what a uid is, and if they use the unsigned applet. If the answer to both questions is no, then just give jagex the usernames and they will detect it easily, as your friend will have 2 accounts logged on at the same time with the same uid.
  16. Most locked rants are because, to put it bluntly, the offending posters are idiots. Topics with titles like "OMG!!!111" and contain "OMG SUM N00B SC4MMD M33" That may be only a slight exaggeration. I have honestly seen topics like that though. Mostly people who didn't read the sticky or use common sense.
  17. So naturally they (by they I mean range, magic is strong enough) should be made stronger, to balance it out. Making it worth spending that money every time they attack.
  18. Iamdan replied to who_ryan's topic in Help and Advice
I'm not sure who "that guy" is, but yes, I did used to make macroers. Didn't auto a whole lot, I just wanted something fun to code. I did quit autoing a while ago, along with (most of) runescape.
  19. Iamdan replied to who_ryan's topic in Help and Advice
Not really. Client hacked macroers use ids, so there goes the idea straight up. Colour clickers don't just look for "mysterious old man" -They check if you are in combat and run -They look for "yourname643, can you help me/talk to me" or whatever message comes up. The macroer just saves their username as a constant. -They also look for colours you don't see elseware.
  20. Hmm, what about a trash can forum? Instead of deleting the post, move it to a trash can and leave a note saying why it was moved. The only thing I am not sure of it when the user clicks "view your own posts" would the link update itself to its new location or just come up with a "this topic does not exist" error?
  21. What about deleting the useless ones instead of just locking? Keeps the forum tidy.
  22. A Dragon 4H, you need 2 people to weild it. :P
  23. So you're a pure with 40 prayer, and only want to fight impures? Are you so worried about losing pixils that you will only fight people who you have no doubt you could kill? How about you fight my level 51. 70 magic 72 range 64 str 65 hp - Come to think of it, considering his combat level he probably has 20 or so def. A "pure" with low def and prayer. Niiice.
