  1. ^^ I missed that point. That would be one of the mechanics of randoms I was talking about. If Jagex has indeed removed teleporting randoms when you are using hunter, then yes, you would have a higher chance of getting a genie. Perhaps whoever said it can supply proof that jagex did this.
  2. Notice you aren't getting consistant answers? There is no skill that you are more likely to get genies from. There could be a way to up your chance of a genie, but you would have to understand the mechanics of random triggering. I understand some of it, but I don't know anything which would trigger genies specifically. Acting like a macroer, and failing randoms are ways you can trigger more randoms in general, not specifically genies.
  3. I thaught It went without saying. When you walk from your computer to grab a coke, muscles are being used. Like anything living, muscles require energy to function. Even when your're sleeping, a small amount of energy is being burned. Now obviously running, doing arobics and weightlifting use your muscles more than walking a few meters. Therefore needing more energy. Now, a rat eats much less than a dog does, correct? It needs less energy for that small mass to move around and do it's thing. Another example is that more energy is needed to move a tonne of rocks than one rock. The same thing applies with muscles. The more muscle somebody has, the more muscle is needed to be moved around. (Just like the more rocks, the more energy is needed to move them) Therefore, more energy is needed to do it. Logical? Course it is. Ok, so we have already established that once carbs are burned up, fat is burned as energy. Therefore. The more muscle you have, logically, the more energy (fat) you burn. BTW: by "more muscle" I am not referring to just bulk. Toned and bulked muscles both require more energy to function.
  4. ... Calories are energy at first, if they are not burned up they are turned into fat. When needed, fat is burned as it is stored energy.
  5. How is it confidential? If Jagex told you, then im sure they aren't worried about lots of people finding out. Is or is not, attempting a trade scam but failing, a bannable offence?
  6. bo- a battle staff type weapon. As fast as a short sword, does as much damage as a skimmy. 2 Handed, special does 3 hits. So fast that it offers a chance to block melee attacks. Doubles as a walking stick, so when not in combat it reduces energy loss.
  7. How about someone just sends jagex the question and posts the answer here. I would do it myself, but f2p questions never get answered.
  8. calories are stored as fat genius.
  9. You probably should not be giving advice. If you want to lose fat, building muscle is definitely the wrong thing to do. Bulking and cutting are the exact opposite. Ok if I'm so wrong, please explain it to me. If muscle doesn't burn most of your stored energy, what does? And what do your muscles burn for energy instead?
  10. If you want to lose fat, you need to build muscle. Muscles burn fat for energy, the more muscle you have, the more energy you need therefore the more fat you burn. Getting a fast motabolism helps you keep the weight off. The best way to do that is run. From the crap I used to eat, if I wasn't an athlete I would be fat by now. (all the training gave me a really fast matabolism) If you're serious, you might want to invest in a heart rate moniter, as when it comes to losing weight and speeding up motabolism, keeping your heart rate at a certain speed is more important than running speed. Have a look on the internet for a good heart rate to keep to. Age, weight, height are all important factors in determining how fast you should have your heart beating on a run.
  11. If jagex delete a bunch of inactive accounts, then there will be a huge rush to get all the good names. Jagex servers will be slow, and people will be making as many good names as they can think of not using them all if any = more inactive accounts all over again.
  12. Heard em all before except: Second statement is the real lie.
  13. imo kotor2 is a must have, it does have replayability, as different genders, and light or dark will affect the game. It is hard to choose the dark side and still have atton's influence (I believe he can be a jedi later on if you have enough influence, although you don't really need him) It is also hard to have high influence with both kreia and atton, as you will learn kreia is kind of dark. Low influence has it's benefits aswell as high. A bit later in the game you will have other, stronger allies with you rather than the 2 you start off with. As for the lightsaber, you don't get it until a decent way into the game. I believe it is at the end of the planet after telos. Depending on how long you play, you could get it before school starts. kotor 1 is a great game, for when it was made. Now that you have played the second one the first won't seem that great, but if you like kotorII as much as I did, and can find the first one for a decent price then grab it.
  14. You can at the distances that runescape bows are shot, quite easily. I have a compound bow at home and shooting a human sized target 5-10m away while walking backwards quickly is not hard at all. (Keep in mind I'm not that great at archery to start off with.) To prevent this argument from going around in circles, what about a bonus for a closer target, until they reach the square next to you, then you don't get a bonus. If you're agreeing that it's the players problem that they chose range than your an idiot. Jagex would not have spent all that time making and updating range, to have it not used. It is logical that all three combat styles should be balanced, Jagex will continue to attempt to balance it, a range update is coming soon.
  15. Zonorhc, runescape is still just a game. If you want to look at it your way, the ranger could also be running backwards shooting. If you want to get even more realistic, one decent shot would prevent the victim from even swinging.
  16. ^^ Higher range levels grants higher hits. You have to be accurate (good at using a bow) to make a good hit irl. So that's already accounted for. As for being too close to aim properly, how is it even possible to miss something point blank?
  17. I don't think range is "overpowered," and I disagree with all the whining they are doing. I just think that range is the underdog. Less people use range, and it needs an update, not a huge one, just a benefit. I'm not a member and wouldn't know, but if crystal/barrows/whatever bows are good enough as they are, maybe the update is only for others, oak, maple, yew and perhaps magic.
  18. I have an idea to add to this which will counter the maro problem. The account you log in so you don't have to do the tutorial should have a skill total requirement. That way, the macroers have their account tied to another account which takes time to train. If they get banned for macroing, both accounts get banned.
  19. We have all heard that "rangers are underpowered" and "jagex hates range" etc - probably everyday if you visit the forums enough. I agree to a certain extent, although I can only speak for f2p, I think range needs an update which will help it out, but not make a huge difference. My ideas: -The higher the range, the further away from someone you can attack. Classic had it, and it worked good. It's also logical, the more skilled someone is at range, the further away they should be able to hit a target. - Rangers should get some sort of bonus when being attacked up close, perhaps greater accuracy the closer someone gets. Another logical idea - It's much easier to hit something when it's closer. -If the first idea isn't liked, then rangers should at least be able to shoot further than mages. It doesn't make sense that a bow can't shoot further than a spell. Any thaughts?
  20. ^^ Randoms do almost nothing to stop macroers
  21. Very nice, I am going for something similar, though with 70 magic, and only 40 attack, with 84 str.
  22. Even though I don't approve of luring, I would have to agree with Lakitsym_Rose. It's not that they are jealous of pixils, its that they are taking advantage of idiots. All not being lured takes is common sense, if someone isn't intelligent enough to know not to get lured, then their stuff is probably better off with someone else. The exception to this is new players who still don't know how the game works, but they wouldn't have enough money yet to be worth luring.

  24. If you know the scam, tell people. If everybody knows the scam, then everybody knows not to fall for it. True more people know how to do it, but more people know how to not fall for it.
  25. Try alching in a bank, I am pretty sure you don't get randoms there. yes you do get randoms there to. Ok, well it must have been in the last few months that jagex changed it.
