Hyped games generally do that. Really that's why I only trust a few review sites (like GiantBomb) because I find the big ones will skew the scores in their favor. I.E Edge gave halo 3 all kind of awards when it isn't a good game, ect. ect.

Blood spec, interesting. I respeced frost the other night on my mage for arenas. We have been doing better recently (still bad though, haven't played many games) and I decided that I'd try and see how frost fit. Well, the first match we won easy. Second match was against a mirror DK/Arc Mage comp. What happened is that we worked on bursting the mage, and when we got him low (25% hp) my DK partner died. However, I killed the mage in a few more hits, and then started working on the DK. Of course the DK was unholy and ressed up his friend as a ghoul. So I spent a good few minutes kiting around these bastards, using all the tricks in the book. The last (seriously) two minutes once his ghoul friend had died had me kiting this death knight around with 1000 [bleep]ing HP. I managed to get a burst in the end and won the match by 600hp. Frost is a lot of fun with our comp, and once I get into the swing of things again (made some scrub mistakes last night) it will be even better. Man frost is [bleep]ing clutch though. :P edit: wish my DK partner had almost all epics. Lol, he is using a titansteel destroyer and blue tank gear. :lol:

No no, what's that super-high-end card by nVidia... Crap I can't remember. In any case, total /drool. The highest end was GTX295 (which is SLI GTX280 cores on one card). However, the GTX285 IIRC is just a higher clocked GTX280, and Tri-SLI GTX285 beats out the SLI GTX295 in tests (since you can't tri SLI it). [1] Oh and this is what Tri SLI GTX285's do to crysis.

Yeah I know Macs aren't really good for gaming but good for companies that do 4D designing and crap like that. The other option was 4 NVIDIA 9800(?) cards. Wonder if those would be good. :P I'm not talking about macs, just render stations in general. Macs aren't really used for 3D design. Also 4 9800s wouldn't be that crazy. Highest would be Tri-SLI GTX285's.

Honestly it depends on how much space you need. If you want like 80GB or more than I would go with an iPod. Otherwise I would go with another brand of Mp3 player such as creative Zen or something. And I would stay far away from Zune. :)

You should totally animate an old school 8 bit pixel Terley. Speaking of animation, I'm probably going to get my hands on learning 3D animation (at least the basics) this semester in my 3D design class. I know what you mean about not wanting to post stuff though, I don't think I'd want to post what I do for school (yet) until I get better at some of these newer things too. :P

It's called high high end rendering station, Chaise. I mean that's what the FX5600 is for anyways. Fun fact, but that rig probably would not play games very well at all. :)

I'm loving leveling with this death knight. Instance runs are a blast now, due to me just chain pulling trash (always hated the [kitty] tanks when I leveled my mage) and so far I haven't been out dps'd... and I've been tanking... in frost presence. Also I'm at 377 defense, 7000 hp right now @ 62. I believe a level 60 needed 365 defense to be uncritable vs a lvl "63" boss back in vanilla WoW, so I think I'm uncrittable.

I quite enjoyed the first CGI.. The CGI was horrible.

It's kind of dead period here man. A lot of new people. I love the pixel though. I'm guessing that C64 = Commodore 64? It certainly does remind me of the classics, the dithering is wonderful.

I read about the multiplayer and it sounds like a bad version of team fortress 2's gameplay. :) Other than that I heard it was fairly generic and had some downright bad lines in the game that were cheesy. So I'm guessing it's pretty much the same as the first Killzone. Oh and the fanboys for this game are great. A review site gave Killzone 2 an 8/10 and they went [bleep]ing nuts all over the place.

So I broke down today and rerolled a Death Knight. Level 61 right now, Speced 0/52/0 for Frost tanking/dps. It's a very fun class, that's for sure, and I'm enjoying tanking with the "new" WoTLK tanking mechanics compared to TBC. Right now he is an alt, but I'll see how things go. I probably should have just did 70-80 on my rogue, because I have an epic flyer and all T5+ gear, but I just didn't feel like doing that. Wanted something that could tank as I enjoyed doing it in warhammer online. ps: anyone know if the -% crit value is consitant throughout levels? Like, is it always 5.2% chance to crit for all mobs 3 levels higher than you? Is there any sort of formula I could use to see?

I went on an achievement server once for like 5 minutes, but that was about it. Didn't skew my stats at all.

^ ouch, hope it all works out ca2. Had a decent week for raids this week -- but sadly I lost the roll on like 3 mage weapon drops. :oops: The good news is that my Death Knight friend hit 80, so we can do arena now. Last night he spec'd frost and we gave it a go. Was pretty fun, but we had a unlucky streak near the end. He D/c'd from two matches, and two others we got horrible comps.
