I don't get it. You criticize these average, boring abstract sigs which are just a slapped on render with some effects... yet you do roughly the same thing? Try and develop your own style IMO. Right now these look like most of the signatures everyone else makes. There are a few of these that are pretty decent as far as focus points and actual artwork goes, but the majority are a bit more poor. Nothing I can really point out though, just try and develop a style of your own.

A year ago I bought a 32" LCD costing something around that... After hooking up my friend's Wii, I can tell you it makes no difference. :) Of course.. Who wouldn't like a bigger screen for playing? That's always a bonus. But no, it doesn't really add to the "eye candy". I felt just like playing on an old 19" TV, the graphics are exactly the same. If you save up $1K by the time you're 15 (very realistic, you could earn way more by working a few hours a day after school), definitely buy the console, not a pretty TV. Heck, if you want to spend it all, you can get all 3 major consoles (since PS3 will have dropped in price by 2008) and have money left over for games. Just incase you don't know but the Wii only goes up to 480i, so it doesn't support HD. That would be why it didn't make a difference. :P

Yeah not many people probably have much technical experience with 3D studio max. I'd love to help, but I use Cinema 4D. :(

Not really no. HD looks great, yeah, but games will still look just fine on a normal TV. If you have a nice computer monitor (however) you can get a VGA adapter for whatever system you want and hook it up to that. I use my xbox 360 on my 22" widescreen monitor and it looks AMAZING, and the monitor only cost something like $250. Just a good suggestion.

Think back to when you were 10. Did you ever think GTA was a cool game? Did you ask your parents to buy it for you, or if you could have it? Obviously this kid's parents are weak-willed and got him the game eventually, instead of telling him that he couldn't have it. The only GTA that was out when I was 10 was #1 and 2. (just had came out). So no I wasn't really tempted. At any rate I did play games like Doom but the difference was I was mature enough. (I didn't 'brag' about killing stuff, lol).

Also I should say that I can do the mosh 1 in Raining Blood easy now, no star power :D. Only problem is I suck at the end solo, so I'm going to save star power until I get to that part. Should beat it today. :P

Starting by not posting screenshots of runescape would be a good start. Honestly it isn't a piece of work, its a runescape screenshot with text plastered on. Also practice is just that -- practice. You don't need to show it.

My point was that game wise the PS3 is pretty tiring, just going after more sequels. No doubt its going to sell a lot more of them, but will it be enough? Sequels get old after a bit. There is a difference between blindly hating the PS3 and currently thinking it doesn't have anything good to offer. I currently think the later. Like it or not the launch is almost exactly like the Sega Saturn, and... well we all know how that one turned out.
