  1. One small case isn't going to do anything for this. However, if a large company such as blizzard were to sue gold farmers for selling in game gold it may be a start -- or enough to grab attention. as it is companies such as blizzard try and rid of gold farmers for spam, not actual sale of items. I really hope they don't tax games though.

Text is too squished together, and I think its a little too bright for how little contrast it has in some areas.
  3. I'm with everyone else, the second is the best compositionally. I like it btw. :)

The point is not everyone needs an HD DvD/Blue ray player or wi-fi.

^ From early sources I've heard (those who got the game early) mass effect is brilliant. Not like I expected it to be any less, it is a bioware game after all.

How so? The 360's hardware is great. While it may not have the raw potential (notice I said raw) of the PS3 it currently and still will have nearly equal graphical power as the PS3 will be able to get up to. In a perfect world where devs could take advantage of all 7 cores easy, than perhaps the PS3 could pull ahead better. Right now though the 360 is a great deal for the money. the 360 does have more than two good exclusives, correct. I can't really count many good exlcusives on the PS3 (currently). Please note I am talking about released games only -- not upcoming games. The PS3 maybe has 3-4 good exclusives right now worth buying for the system.
  7. Filter piles over random game images, blegh. At least put some thought into these. Hell, a few of them hurt my eyes just to look at because they're so damned bright and contrasted. Learn to actually do more than just filters and practice. Right now these are very poorly done.
  8. Bitmaps aren't compressed at all, that's why the file sizes are so large. Yeah. I couldn't remember if they were just barely compressed or not at all. Needless to say they're huge. :P
  9. The actual photograph is lightyears beyond that 'manipulation' (I use that term loosely for this piece). Its just too busy and too contrasted for me in the manip, the actual photo is very good.
  10. Mom!!! Dad!!! I'm not the ugliest kid in school! Good for you butters... ..Guess we don't have to ground him now. :XD:
  11. If they gave me a free ride to college, in return for not voting this election? Hell yes. Voting is important and all that jazz -- but not having to pay for college, or even not having to pay for half of it, would be a blessing. For an iPod? Nah.

I think the problem with my rig and crysis is I'm running only a 256MB video card. It's a 7900GS... but the 256mb is hurting me. Other than that the rest of my mobo is fine (1.8ghz intel 2 duo core, 2GB DDR2... ect) How much better is the retail game running for you guys than the demo?
  13. I lol'd at cartman bragging to kyle that he was one better than him. "I'm hotteeeeer than yooooou" Butters was funny as hell too lol.
  14. All da bunnies down here got eated by coyotes  You're not helping! :ohnoes:
  15. Don't upload a .bmp dude. Chances are it may be too big. BMP's are horribly compressed anyways, save it as a JPEG or PNG.
  16. You can't really compare that to something like runescape. In runescape, you make the money in game, and buy stuff with that money in game. You don't buy items for real money, so technically, you're not at all stealing someones real money. They paid for that sword with in-game money that they earned in game. They didn't buy the money or the sword in a real currency. The only problem with this is how the court sees it. Techniclly, yes... its not supposed to be worth money. Technically it is against the game rules (but not illegal) to buy and/or sell in game currencies. However that doesn't mean it is worthless. Just like any other type of currency in game currency also has an exchange value. 1M in runescape is roughly worth around $5 USD for example. Any popular MMORPG, within time, will build up its own 'worth' for currency. World of Warcraft, Lineage II and countless others are worth real life money. So obviously like I said the problem is how a court views it. If more cases like this happen they'll probably end up viewing any in game currency as an actual currency.
  17. Great last episode for the season. :D
  18. I just hope to god this doesn't start a slow downward path on how the government treats in game economies. I would hate to start having to pay taxes for in game cash because its worth something.
  19. Saw the patch notes on MMORPG.com today, looked pretty damn good actually. I mean, buffs to the sub tree? double u tee eff? :P
  20. Judging by the fact you are/were a member... Exactly. But really, how do people profit from this? other than in-game profits, can they even? What do you mean? How can they profit from stealing items? They can sell them on eBay and other sites like that (mostly other sites, eBay is bad for selling in-game items). Game sales are against the rules on eBay now. That being said you can make a profit from MMO's... not speaking from experience or anything of course. :-$
  21. Bathory- Beastal lust.
  22. [hide]The Borealis may hold tools that we could use to help against the fight against the combine. IMO I think it holds the portal gun -- read up on my theory earlier in the thread. I don't remember what those are called, but I do know that they know everything of a person they kill. They are from the combine (obviously). Eli's death was significant not just for the fact that he died, but the fact that now the combine will know everything of the resistance. [/hide] They are called Advisors methinks. Yeah thats it.
  23. I can't wait to get a bit more money on my paypal account. I'm going to get a memory card for my DS that they have, and I'm sure I'll be able to fit some awesome stuff on it. (I saw like a duke 3D remake on it). Just saying I'll deffinitly be playing some older games then ;D.
  24. http://wii.advancedmn.com/article.php?artid=11091 Now, normally I'm against remakes. However I think that, if done correctly, a link to the past remake may be something that could be legendary. Coupled with the Wii-mote and a TP style (as they stated in the article) and it could be pretty incredible. Thoughts?
