I've been looking for something like this for a bit now (that didn't only do a few songs or something stupid like that) so I'm glad to have found one now. Been meaning to get some of the older songs on my iPod that didn't make it over to my new PC onto it.

I've heard of it, but it didn't peak my interest enough to really actually try it out. However it might be a bit of fun for those looking for a free MMORPG to pass the time with.

My suggestions: The Orange box Mass Effect Assassains Creed Bioshock COD 4 skate It's a lot of fun TBH Oblivion (ect.) I'd probably recommend orange box first if you don't have it for the PC, it has plenty to keep you busy for a while.

This series is still going on? I enjoyed the first one that came out for the cube (second in the series IIRC) but after thatI didn't pay as much attention to them.

I'm the same way to be honest. It's mostly the mood the music puts me in that inspires me, not necisarily what it is actually about. Once I think what I want to do sometimes I'll just keep the same song on repeat for the durration of the piece, so I don't lose that train of thought.

It's kind of difficult without showing you, but I'll try and explain. Pretty much you create your landscape by working on each of the 'main' pieces of one. There is a terrain -- a hight map field that represents the... terrain. There is also the surface map, which is the texture that you can edit. You can edit the atmosphere (Where the sun is placed, other various values) and you can edit the actual angle you're looking at your world. All of this together just works together. It's 3D modeling, but it's different than most 3D modeling programs.

If you could find a reason to program with it in the first place =) For cool points. :thumbsup: Ok.. so I wouldn't be that cool. I wonder though, if I just made a filter pile in photoshop and passed it through that program -- maybe I'd come up with the next doom or something. :D

Via chipset with 128kb cache and 1.5GHZ? I think p3 would outperform that, plus via chipsets aren't good. You think so? I didn't really look into the details of the chipset, but from what I've read its performed fairly decent. However it may just be better to spring a few hundred more and get a better machine.

Not much. To be blunt, the machine is simply old and out dated. To upgrade the machine would mean to upgrade (virtually) everything to where it is just easier to get a new machine.

No :P . There are better FPS's to spend your time playing online than halo 3.

Just finished thanksgiving dinner, mmm. Was kind of different, we cooked out steaks instead of turkey (I don't really like turkey) so it was really good. Steak, sweet dressing, rolls and some pumpkin pie for later. :thumbsup:

To your last question: Just make sure you keep windows and your anti virus updated, and don't go to dodgy links. About a new machine: You don't really need much. In fact, I would strongly recommend this computer. Its $298, and comes with windows vista (not a monitor though). However it has everything you will need for general web browsing and such, including a gig of memory. About computer stats and what they effect: I notice no one has really explained yet what the various parts of a PC effect speed wise so I thought I'd help. RAM: This, simply put, allows you to run more programs without lag. Every time you open a program (a browser window, a game, whatever) it takes up a certain amount of RAM for its processes. RAM is temporary memory for your programs where they can quickly store and compute whatever equasions or problems they need to do. A gig of it is fine for most standard machines, while 2 gig's is a minimum for playing new, up to date games. It's pretty cheap (especially this black friday, you can get a gig of ram easy for $15). Processor: Your CPU speed. This is just the speed at which various calculations and processes can cary out. The speed of it doesn't mater as much these days as other values do, however for general web browsing and such it's not a very large importance. You'll really only notice it in full screen games (not java games like runescape) and in other applications. Video card: This only really effects games, for general web browsing it isn't a concern. Hard Drive: the only thing, speed wise, this will effect is how long it takes for you to load something up. The higher RPM -- the faster (generally) an aplication will load from the hard drive. Sound card: Aside from taking a bit of stress off the CPU for running the sound, and simply making everything sound better ... an on-board sound card is just fine. That should be about all that will and can effect your computers performance.

No it's worse than rs lol, I've been there, done it, seen it, EVE is worse than WoW for addiction IMO. I doubt that. Since you gain levels while doing nothing there really isn't that incenitive to play a lot. Likewise if you have a decent ORG you'll pretty much just be handed your ships so money isn't a large issue either.

NPC's who you have completed a quest for will display a question mark on mouseover rather than an exclamation point. The bank controls for the guildmaster level of a guild is now grayed out. A guildmaster always has full access to a guild bank and this cannot be changed. A "Withdraw-Repair Only" button has been added to the guild bank controls. If this is set for a guild rank, then that rank cannot actually withdraw funds from the guild bank, but they can still use that daily amount of money for repairs. I should add that really it was the combat and the slow paced nature of the game that turned me off. I loved the sound of hardcore PvP and how the economy worked, but my god everything was just so... slow. It took a long time to get to places, it took a long time to loot (I hated having to take a good minute or two slowly inching my way forward to the loot container said pirate left behind).... it just got boring. Still I would recommend it to anyone willing to give it a shot, it's a good game - just not for everyone.

I love this show. :P I know they canceled a lot of the new EPs but at least they are playing old ones on the weekdays now, allows me to get caught up. (I started near the end of the first season). Don't know why the moved it for the "Tim and Eric Awesome show Great job" though... that show is odd... ..Even for [AS]

Too meh for me. The black 'dust' (or whatever you want to call it) is pretty random and poorly placed, and there just isn't anything I really like about this sig.

^ While I'd generally agree that trying to get his PC to work would be a good idea, thing is if it is a Pentium III than it may be time to upgrade. @ OP: what do you plan on doing with the machine? Chances are if it isn't much you can pickup a pretty decent machine (far better than yours) for quite cheap.
