What movie(s) did you last see?
Yeah I loved watching it from the beggining to get the full effect. I had already seen the first 2 seasons multiple times, so I watched the others back to back within a few days. Great series, it's miles above other animated shows of its nature. (and yeah, some parts had me on the verge of tears. The episode with fry's dog in it, or the one where he thought his brother was copying everything of his -- or the bee sting episode as well was great, where Leela thought fry had died.) So many great EP's, especially in the last season. The last episode with the Robot Devil in it was freaking brilliant, easily one of the best episodes of the show! I also liked the episode where bender what lost, floating around space. It was so brilliant, especially how 'god' said "when you do everything correctly, no one will notice a thing" and in the very end bender helping those people. Meh I could go on for ages about episodes.

The Orange Box :o
Yeah you can, or at least my roomate (who is using vista) play's CS 1.6 all the time on it just fine. It's based off the same engine so should be fine. :D

Assassins Creed Signature
It seems fine on my screen. :? Perhaps fiddle with your screens brightness. :o Why? Everything but your signature looks just fine. (It's not my PC I'm on atm anyways).

Assassins Creed Signature
Much much much too dark, I can hardly make out anything in it.

Nuclear Bombing Of Japan
:wall: People like you really make me hate living in my country sometimes. Not everyone lives in America you fool. Anyways, on topic. I'm sure I stated my opinions in the last thread we had but I can't be too sure if dropping the bombs were worth it or not. I don't know how many lives would be lost from a land invasion as apposed to dropping the bombs, so I really can't compare the two.

Playstation 3 - Failure?
The suspense is killing me.

New Sig: Battle against Thruitall
This is why I dislike the term 'render', everyone seems to think everything they find is one. Where did you find the image you put into the signature? The fact is it ISN'T cropped, you can tell by the lines on the edges. If you would have cropped to get a key feature out, read: the dude in the middle, than you could possibly call it a 'render'. Just taking an image from google though and slapping it into a signature without any thought though doesn't count.

What are you listening to right now!?
daaamn. I'm listening to ^ that.

New Sig: Battle against Thruitall
Sigh... Did you even TRY to crop out the image you just plastered on... well, whatever that background is? Seriously, the entire image just reeks of no effort at all, you didn't even try and blend in the edges of that image before putting it in the signature. The background, the background is a filter pile. I'm not really a terribly big fan of the colors as well. The biggest problem really is that you seriously did not try at all to blend the image you put on the background, at all. Did you really think it looked good with the edges being so obvious? Nothing else really to say, its a poor signature even by your standards.

cant get my bank pic big enough~please help~
IIRC it's the last one on the list.

Kakashi - Best sig yet IMO.
I don't really like it. Too flat, colors are bland and boring, the plain white just doesn't work well either... Text is pretty poor as well.

That's the wrong one.

Anonymous survey
This is so anonymous, let me tell you... Anyways: 1. In your opinion, what is truth? Much like lionheart, truth is what we can observe and prove to be true through scientific means. 2. Do you believe in God or Allah or Buddha or any other deity or higher force, power, or being? No. 3. Can you give any reasons for why you believe/disbelieve in the above? Aside from just not having any faith in a higher being (I just don't 'feel' like there is one) there just isn't any evidence to support the fact that there is a higher being. 4. How would you describe this being etc(the answer to number 2)? (If "yes to 3") N/A. TBH I pretty much just agree with Lionheart.

The official World of Warcraft thread.
I promissed myself I wouldn't get involved in the forums this time around, too much misinformation flying around and blatent trolls. Plus, everyone seems to think their class sucks. However I don't really see the problem with thier new arcane shot.

For Christmas...
I'll say what I always say, the Wii is really looking up. It's gotten a lot of good games recently that are very much worth it on the system IMO and I think it'd be worth a purchace. I'd love to get one personally but no money, especially since I recently got a DS Lite a month ago. :P

The Easiest 1000 Gamerscore You'll Get (Hold B For 2 Min.)
Thats stupid. Chances are they did it on purpose because they knew their game would suck. At least this way it'll get rented a lot just for the gamerscore...

ImageShack won't load...:/
Thats much to big, did you read the actual text on imageshack that tells you the maximum upload size is something like 1.5MB? Do yourself a favor and save it as a .JPG or size it down a bit and save as a PNG.

Best console discussion thread
Best console of all time? Difficult to say. For example, I loved the Sega Saturn. Sadly, however, it simply was too difficult to program for and not many games came out for it. Those that did though... wow, it had some great series. Panzer dragoon and such were great. It isn't the best console of all time though. The dreamcast was great too, but it had the same flaws the saturn did -- not many games were coming out for it. The system was incredibly powerful for its time, capable of graphics nearly better than what the PS2 was offering (just look at comparison screenshots from back in the day). However it was killed early and lost any chance of becomming a truely great console. In my opinion the best console of all time has had to be the Nintendo 64. There are simply so many reasons for this. First of all, the games. No one can argue the simply tons of brilliant games that came out for the system. Mario 64, Goldeneye, Perfect dark, Orcarana of Time, Majoras mask, perfect dark, mario kart 64... the list goes on and on. This was one of those consoles that probably has held the most of my time and it really is brilliant. The fact too that nintendo went for cartridges instead of CD's gave them an interesting advantage, including the fact that load times in their games were non-existant. While the system had trouble competing with the likes of the PS1, still, I don't think many people would disagree with how great this system was. Now we could choose something older than that. The SNES was a great system, and likewise the NES, Genesis and such were great too. However they just did not have the processing power to produce what later consoles could, and the N64 brought (many of us) into the world of 3D. Seeing our favorite characters now rendered in full 3D was simply amazing at the time, jaw dropping -- really.

what game should i get for my 360?
I would take Assassin's Creed and Bioshock off of that list, since they don't have much replay value, and the Op wants a game that will last 3-4(+) weeks. Meh, rent those then. I was just naming off good games on the system period -- I recommended to get orange box first anyways.

Playstation 3 - Failure?
I prefer just looking at http://www.gamerankings.com and comparing every game above around 8.0 to compare systems, probably the best way. Personaly i don't think that is the best way. I say play the games yourself and judge them. That stilll is incredibly expensive. When you're looking at all three consoles from a glance and are trying to decide it's best to go with the (average) reviews. Sure maybe once in a blue moon a game will get very, very poor reviews and you'll love it anyways but it doesn't happen often -- often times a game that rates poorly is just that, poor. Hell if you want look at games that are >70%. This is easy because that is a very 'average' review and gives you some breathing room for games while filtering out the crap. (lets be honest, anything lower than 70% probably is not very good unless your a fanboy, and with the exception of PC games that can change [i.E MMO's] nothing is going to change on a console). I know that you enjoyed a game that rated piss-poor on there henman, and thats why you're being so difficult, but when you're trying to compare which system is the best it's the best to look at an average of what many people think.

The Orange Box :o
You don't 'really' need to have played the first for the second, however it will give you a little bit of background on some of the characters. The half life series is incredibly action packed by the way. Especially the latest episode (EP 2) there is very little times where something isn't going on. I'd strongly recommend it. If you do want to play through half life (1st) its really cheap these days to pick up, although not really needed to enjoy #2.
