I loved both, as they are concise, with actually intelligent main characters. Are there any more that are like Code Geass and Death Note? Do you want to watch an actual smart anime or another "intelligent" one like Death Note?

Good ol' truth right here. I've been on the 'net for 6 years now and I have NEVER gone to the extent of Jessie or similar occurrences. I did feel pretty bad the first couple of times I was either trolled or told harsh criticism but with a level head and a reasoning, you get over it. She's 11 years old. I don't know how much maturity(level head and reasoning) you can expect from someone of that age. She reacted in a typically naive fashion, with no regard or thought for consequences, because she isn't really old enough to understand. Once again, in that particular situation, the parents are to blame. Still she was camwhoring already. Better that something like that happens so she learns her lesson instead of it escalating. Her parents are to blame though. The Dad is just downright dumb.

[bleep] that. If an admin wants to edit the front page? Go for it. I don't play nor care what servers people are on though to keep a list updated like that.

Bumping this thread because we had a good bit of HoN talk going on in the today thread and thought we'd move it over here. So who exactly plays this still on TIF? Me and Jaerkd00d are still the only 2 I know that are really both playing it. I'm up to 1750+ PSR now, working on 1800+.

I don't know which is worse - having nerds spam up forums everywhere I go about dota/hon or the games themselves. It's the stupidest [bleep]ing game ever made and everyone who wastes my time talking about it with me gets a free suckerpunch in the stomach. It's a shame they still haven't released the e-suckerpunch because I'd be handing them out. What did I do today? I got pissed off at nerds talking about the most [developmentally delayed]ed game all the little kids that are instinctively annoying and deserve to die play. I'm about 2 years older than you and play it :/. (22 in couple weeks) Oh well no need to spam up this thread about it. Should re-bump up the HoN thread instead. What did I do today? Not too much. I'm going to guess you started playing games when the N64 came out? Pretty safe picks overall. I don't agree with some of the choices personally (CoD4, Halo) but ah well :P.

Oh and since you guys are talking about knifing, I wanted to bring this up. Whatever happened to getting a knife kill meaning something? Like all these recent FPS games have an instant 1 hit kill knife where as back in the day you had to be a good player to get a knife kill. It just makes me wonder when people actually can be overpowered because they run around with a melee build in an FPS.

People run off of the ledges on purpose :). Gamefly shipped it yesterday for me so should get here monday or tuesday for me :P.

Honestly it didn't piss me off or anything. I thought it was dumb, yeah, and that is why I stopped playing it. It is funny that even bad players can sit in a corner and get awesome killstreaks. It's funny that bad players can think they're good at FPS games because they "own "at MW2. :)

They do promote camping though. Yes, most FPS games have people camping in them (to different degrees of effectiveness). However killstreaks simply make camping a lot more attractive as an option because they reward you for not dying. In a normal game camping might get you a kill every now and then and then a lot of down time. In MW2 you can be getting the same kills/minute as you would in the other but once you get 4-5 in a row or so you can start going to town and racking up the kills. Meanwhile in the other game the camper is still simply slowly stacking up kills. Also my solution to killstreaks was to not play the game. Much more effective than any perk :thumbsup:

I complain about the game because it's a bad game. (and it's fun to troll and argue about the game :P) It has nothing to do with frustration (like I said, I pirated the game, thought it sucked and stopped playing. I'm not like some people in this thread who [bleep] about it all day yet continue to play) and everything to do with the fact that the game just gets dumb. It's dumb that someone can call in a helicopter to shoot down people in a small scale FPS. It's dumb someone can launch a nuke in a small scale FPS. If this was an FPS where there were more players about (more like BF2) I would understand things such as helicopters. Even then though I think my issue is that they give you a helicopter that takes no skill to actually use but then takes a lot of skill/adjustment to get rid of. If they made it so that people would have to fly around the helicopter they got? Wouldn't be so bad. As it is a person can get a lucky kill streak by chilling in a corner and then call down all hell with a press of the button. I play an FPS to shoot other people, not be worried about an AI helicopter gunning me down with laser pin-point accuracy. Honestly as far as it goes the only people not complaining about MW2 are the ultra-casual players who don't really care about balance or aspects of skill in the game. They just want to run around, level up their prestige and get awesome scores to brag about. *shrug*

PC gamers boycotted it, and then gave up and bought it, and then regretted it... one of those pc gamers was me :< I pirated it, realized it was trash and saved my $60.

Man up and play HoN. You never played dota >.>, how can you compare them? Also, cbf to memorize all the heroes' abilities just to play a game basically the same as what im playing atm. DotA is fun :< Because HoN is better and not limited to the WC3 engine. You should really play the first. And Opposing force. ep2 will give you a little more info on the G-man but not much at all. It's more about just placing all the facts together from all the games.

Why would it matter though? Sure, the "earth" would probably thrive more without us here. Several animal species would probably still be alive too . But why does it matter? Who cares what a non-sentient planet really is like if the only thing on it are some animals? It just seems like a crappy point of view to me. If you can't believe in humanity than what the hell can you believe in?

Sigh. Maybe you'll understand when you're older. Right now you just sound like an angsty teenager.

Came here to post that :(. I've really got nothing of value to say now. Agreed with you so hard. I hate the mentality of "[bleep] people, people suck!!" some kids seem to get in their head. Of course, they never are the problem and always know better than everyone else (while still being in high school :/). Yeah, some people suck. More people are awesome though.
