""I'm going to speak plainly in a language everyone can understand. M. Night Shyamalan's THE LAST AIRBENDER is a hate crime against film lovers. No one should ever have to endure what I was unexpectedly put through yesterday afternoon watching this murky 3-D [cabbage]storm of a movie that appears to have been shot through unflushed toilet bowl water"" http://www.aintitcool.com/node/45640 http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/last_airbender/
  2. http://www.teamfortress.com/loosecanon Dude. I love how they are fleshing out the story of TF2 plus, well, Engi update coming!
  3. Multi is the [cabbage] if you can get into a match lol. I pirated it so can't play multiplayer.
  4. Nah that would suck.
  5. Last time I tried that a few years ago it just ended up giving me a strict NAT and booted me constantly from online games. It's really unreliable.
  6. Playing singularity. Pretty interesting so far.
  7. Avenged Sevenfold is pretty bad. Also something I've been wondering. Would you guys classify Angizia as a metal band at all? They have some metal influences for sure but I'm not sure what to call them :P. (Lot of classical influences too). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCeAUtC0fGA The second song has a lot more metal influences really. They're awesome no matter what though.
  8. lol wow you're dumb. >_> Look up ".iso" on wikipedia.
  9. Are you even aware of the MotionPlus that goes with the Wii? It uses a gyroscope sensor, which is much more accurate than the Move. It can sense what angle you're holding the remote and all that. It doesn't necessarily calculate depth from the sensor like the Move, but its rotational movement is going to be much greater than the Move's ever will. At least until the Move decides to stop using a camera. How gyroscopes work if you didn't know: http://science.howstuffworks.com/gyroscope3.htm (It's a long read but definitely worth it) The precision with this is ridiculous, and new games being developed with the gyroscope don't have to rely on the awkward sensor bar. So no, the Wii is not as far behind in regards to engineering innovations as you thought. Some of this is subjective, but I think that they're still ahead regarding console engineering. While some of the features of the Wii really really suck, such as graphics, the innovation behind some of the concepts make up for it in my opinion. Sorry about elaborating on the Wii in this thread  That's great and all except that 95% of Wii developers aren't even using the motion+

What would he be doing instead? Sort of on the same note I have a great aunt who turned 100 sometime this year. It's pretty crazy because she's still in really good health and has a great memory. It's also pretty difficult to imagine what it would be like being born in 1910 and seeing everything that changed in the world. Makes me wonder what it will be like for us whenever we're really old.
  11. *shrug* got ISTP. After reading it's description a bit I'm not so sure it describes me well at all. I'm a poor athlete (I did skate for a bit but was never that good) and I generally do "sit behind a desk all day". The other things aside from the athletic side of thing seems pretty spot on though.
  12. Can't say I'm really interested. I'll wait and see how it fares but I will say one thing; I'm really tired of all these "massive" multiplayer online games. (it's like 200 players per world or something like that).
  13.  x2 The only band I can really think off the top of my head is Tool. Too many people trying to find "deep" meanings in them. Don't get me wrong they aren't an awful band but people hype them too much for just being another rock band.
  14. Just got the Serious Sam HD pack for $7.50, [bleep] yeah. Considering they were going for like $20 each game (I got both) its a steal.

Got a haircut, had BK for supper and have continually been stomping kids in HoN :P.
  16. ...yet they still haven't released the PC patch that was supposed to be here over a month or two ago. Honstly DICE talked a lot about supporting the PC first and foremost and then have pretty much ignored us and instead released some paid DLC to consoles only. Dumb.
  17. There is a massive Steam summer sale going on right now if you guys are curious. Thought I would make a thread so that we could share any good deals we see  . Yeah already things like 75% off of the Call of Duty pack (Like $29for every CoD but MW2) and games like Trine for $4. Oh and you can get every valve game ever made (22 [bleep]ing games) for $67. Yeah, that's $7 more than a 360/PS3 game. All I can say is I have a feeling my wallet will be hurting again if I decide to buy some games, haha. Last sale I ended up getting the entire id pack >_<.
  18. I'm guessing you played Oblivion before Morrowind. *shrug* I played morrowind first when it came out but honestly I enjoyed Oblivion more.
  19. The greatest cover of our generation.
  20. Jesu yeah! Sun O))) is an odd band. I'm not the biggest fan of minimalism but they do it decent. You would probably like Sleep's Jerusalem and Dopesmoker albums and Boris's Absolutego album. Which reminds me, sleep is such an awesome band. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLv6BUdPh58 From the Holy Mountain album. They remind me of a heavier version of Sabbath's Doom era music. Some of the heaviest rifts you'll ever hear.
  21. LaBrie in DT's early albums = incredible. Especially that one album they recorded live in London back in '92 or '93. Then he ate shrimp and ruined himself. I like a good, healthy dose of cheese metal to offset all the more brutal stuff I listen to. I used to be able to listen to power metal constantly (it's really addictive music if you're in the mood) but I haven't been able to do that for almost two years now. I think if you look far enough back in my post history, you'll see Nightwish, Blind Guardian and Sonata Arctica being bands I mentioned almost constantly. How times change. I still love Blind Guardian and Helloween. Keeper of the Seven Keys is the best and cheesiest album/song ever made. Seriously with lyrics like "AND MAKE THE PEOPLE HOLD EACH OTHERS HAAAAANNDS!" you can't go wrong.
  22. Hard to believe that picture was 6 years ago, hah.
  23. I'll be honest with you ; there really isn't any decent fps's out right now to play online :S unless you look at older releases. Of course that doesn't mean I'd ever get caught playing MW2 but yeah :P.
  24. PS3. I can't say I really have any reasons other than what has been stated in this thread. PS3 also has a much better lineup for the future IMO.
  25. Lets be honest here. You're all playing MW2, you're all terrible :D.
