I'm trying to collect 200 dragon bones from green dragons but the PKers are my main problem. I three item, and tell them that I will teleport, but they still think whipping me twice will do me in >_< I go back hoping they learned that I'm pointless to try and kill, and they do it again. I'm using a Rune Plate, Red Dragon Hide Chaps, And an Abyssal Whip. Maybe swapping the whip for a Dragon Scimitar will make me look less profitable? Any advice on avoiding/dissuading them?

No. The whole point is there are no f2p mage legs. If trimmed armor had a mage bonus, those prices would skyrocket while the other trimmed items stay at their current price.

The idea is to return balance between Defense, Strength, and Attack. Granted 99 def still won't be as powerful as 99 strength but at least it will make rune pures and 1 def pures think twice about their low defense levels.

This thread was started after I realized people with 1 defense and deep pockets could get unfair defense bonuses. People at one herblore can't make prayer pots? So why should people with one defense get furies and dhide? Here are some commonly used armors I see that should have a defense requirement in my opinion: Dragon Hide: I think all of it's parts should require defense requirements equal to their ranged requirements. Even legs and vambs. Green: 40 Blue: 50 Red: 60 Black: 70 Mystic Robes: Defense of 40 to match the magic requirement Fire Cape: 70 defense. This thing blows all other capes out of the water stat wise. RFD Gloves: Defense level to match the armor whose color they are (Mithril= 20 Rune=40, barrows=70 ect) I might think of more later. Comments?

Lets say you hit a 50 on a 20 defense pure. It would knock his def down to 0 and lower his str by 30.
