I'll try and get higher prayer, but I still prefer a far seer helm over a neitiznot helm. I have torag currently because it's very cheap and easy to buy, I'll keep any verac drops I get or buy it after the GE is released but atm it's just to much trouble.

not a fan of really expensive items, so that won't be a problem =P

Originally I was just going to send this to one person, but i figured that if everyone saw it more people could scan it for errors (Please don't tell me to upgrade my gloves though, thats not an option currently) [hide=Barrows Method]My current method is to go in Dharok first and kill him with prayer (I switch to red dragonhide for the magic bonus, if a ghast rotted any of my food I switch to no armor/as little as possible). Slayer dart, yes yes. That normally leaves me with only 0-1 doses used, so I swap to a DDS (Set to slash) and head over to karil. I drink a dose of my combat potion (Its stat boosts are only about 5 less than a super set but it uses only 1 spot and is dirt cheap). I spec him, then whip him to death. Thats about 1-3 more doses depending on how much Guthix decides he hates me today. Then I put on red (I'll get black later) dragonhide and a rune crossbow with emerald enchanted bolts (Because I can make them from scratch easily). I remove non-essentials for extra ranged bonus. He falls pretty quickly so I can finish him with 0-1 doses. That leaves me with Verac. I let my prayer run out on him (Normally about halfway through the fight) and kill him with a sidestep and food. Guthan and Torag fall quickly and without problems. If my tunnel buddy is Dharok/Verac I safespot him. I take extra care to never mis-click with Dharok because theres no room for error. Torag or Guthan are basically the same as in their tomb, but if it spawns in a room with a safespot I use it. Karil and Ahrim are the tricky tunnels in my opinion. If It's Karil I continue on in my torag/whip until he pops out, then I chug a dose of potion and put on range prayer. Ahrim is a bit trickier because he lowers my stats and if I wear only dhide skeletons will use up too much food. So I switch to torag body and dhide legs. When he pops out I use mage prayer and 1 dose of potion. Only one. Most of the time he's almost done when/if it runs out. [hide=Iventory and Equipment] Runes are not actual amounts. [/hide][/hide]

I catch at the same rate If I'm on a f2p world at barbarians (Packed) or a quiet world at shilo... so I think it doesn't matter, and if it does it's too slow to notice.

Meleeing is suicide without verac's and high attack. I'm making a profit each run just from runes... I was just hoping for some opinions/tips from people who have done many barrows runs. @Above: I feel that I'm doing great, but for a week after I got members I thought picking flax was godly for gp... Making sure that never happens again lol. My kill count is normally 15, I think thats a fair balance of speed and drops.

I've finally gotten my barrows set up all set up. After doing a few trial runs I find I use 3-6 doses of prayer potion per trip (depending on my luck). I'm the only person I know in-game that barrows for money, and I want to know: Is that a good amount? Just asking for opinions here.

Not as far as i can remember, they do drop second ingredients and water filled vials though. Plus most high levels looking for herbs leave guams on the ground for you to take.....

Those a a bit to bright. I've got most of my clothes how I like them, just need a helmet or weapon idea. plus if I die to a random thats 1m down the drain...

I wanted something royal looking, if I can't find a cool helm I could just change my hair....

Heres my current: I need a helmet and a weapon that will go with the dark green/yellow/white. I was thinking of a pet rock in the weapon slot because he's funny, but I'm totally lost on the helm

+1 What he meant to say is, that's way too much ;) No, the idea is that people with one defense should have the same protection as a level 3 even if their strength is 99. I purposely put glories and furies out of a rune-pure's reach. I want all three combat stats to be as important as the next one and this is helping defense make a come back. Screw the pures, they are only exploiting flaws in the combat system.

Considering he's looking for a prayer bonus, he's probably going to be using protection prayers..........

To maximise profit, 70 across the board and 55 slayer. You could scrape by with just 43 prayer and 35 magic, but its really inefficient.

Trade on w132 for supplies and cash. It'll save you alot of time.

Don't cats take like 4 hours to grow though?

Dragon stone is currently matching the defense requirements of granite, and Onyx is matching Dragon armors. I can't find jewelry that I would consider "Barrows" strength.
