  1. 99 fletching, raced with my friend and i got it 5 days before him (he was legit, but got banned for a week because he was fletching so fast they accused him of autoing), about 6 months before skill capes came out
  2. Amazing way for him to start off, I was laughing when I read the title, but was in awe by the end of it I actually like BTS being gone, everyone kept overspeculating the updates. They wanted them fast, so Jagex was forced to rush to please the players, but it ended up being a flop Personally, i'm fine with f2p getting their updates. Members will still get their fair share, and f2p will be getting much needed updates.
  3. Looks kind of awkward now, but i guess i could get used to it
  4. . 613XP a pouch Already nerfed? When I made my first 5 pouches, I got 301,8 xp each, using 165 shards (4125 gp). Checked with second 5 pouches, making 1 pouch at a time: 302 xp. That means the costs per xp are a bit higher then the costs of the lvl 74 granite lobsters. Right now you can make a profit by selling the phoenix pouch in ge (sold mine for max 5235), but how long will that last? If the price drops to swapping price (2900) the net costs are about the same as the net costs of granite lobsters. Yeah I just tried it 10 minutes ago and got 302 xp (wasn't sure about the decimals) too, already a nerf lol.
  5. Haven't been on TIF in a while because of skilling, but here are some of the pics (going for 80+ everything) [hide=lots of pics] ^He was killing abbies in pvp; 5 mins after this pic was taken, someone logged in, teleblocked and sara striked him, he took my advice and ran to gargs, got the gargs on the pker and my friend logged with 5hp left. 78 theiving and 76 RCing, then i've gotten 80 everything[/hide]
  6. What i've been up to recently: [hide=] [/hide] Getting 80 tomorrow
  7. Thought jagex was for "java gaming experts" #-o No surprises in the facts that he likes penguins Very well written article, and happy birthday Andrew
  8. It'll be respected a lot more than it was previously for the next week or so. Oce guides start coming out the respect will go down, but still be respected slightly more
  9. up to 12kish cash lots of random seeds rune square shield adamant battleaxe blood runes unnoted herbs lava runes rune sword half keys pics: [hide=] [/hide] edit: another trip, only a few new drops to add sharks super def pots rune mace [hide=] [/hide]
  10. how the heck do you solo it...? I just tried, used like 15 sharks and did around 30 damage
  11. Runecrafting is tempting since it is such a HUGE PAIN to train. On the other hand, runecrafting, unlike some other skills, actually has a little payoff as you train it up. That's a tough tradeoff to decide -- pain v. money. I used all of mine on runecrafting...I figured selling the dragon lump for 10.6m was payment enough 8-)
  12. Ok...Quest complete, and I still have the two halves of the key, how do I put them together and how do I get in the mith door?
  13. so i'm down in the abyss place, with all the empty bowls and i'm stuck, what do i do from here?
  14. So he is finally involved in something? I hope we can interact with him. He's been a mystery character for quite some time now yeah, i have to go get a picture of him, but i'm not sure how they plan on having me do that anyone know how i do it? e: nvm, you just talk to the prisoner again with charcoal/papyrus
  15. the dark squall is the guy in the chaos tunnels right?
  16. What 3 hit u posted pretty much sums it up, but about 2 years ago my friend got perma banned (repealed a week later) for "macroing" when in reality he just got really good with mousekeys Personally, I've used them for attaching arrowheads to shafts, making darts, and alching, and I haven't had any penalty
  17. Wow, very nice research, tons of things I didn't know, and now it looks like i'll have to go exploring 8-) Nothing to add, except I can't wait for the new quest now
  18. interesting article, somehow it never occured to me to try and have 2 tele rooms in my POH, that'll be nice. Also, the PS made me laugh ;)
  19. Recent levels: Me and a few friends had fun trying to get the highest scores we could at stealing creation ;) [hide=] [/hide] After this game, I had over 15 people following me trying to get on the team that I was on
  20. Well, there's the obvious ones, like faster typing, doing simple calculations in my head, and observing prices of items and predicting what they'll do, but there are still others Time zones: before RS, I had no idea about time zones, I assumed it was the same time of day for everyone in the world (granted, I was 12, but oh well). Along with that is knowing where countries are, and not caring about where they're from, but on how they act. Typing/grammar: Playing RS has helped me to always adopt a tone of voice I need to do an essay, and I can usually spot when something isn't worded the way it should be. Independant research: If something on Runescape sparks my interest, I'll look it up, gaining random tidbits of information, but also knowing where to look and how to go about doing it. Realistic: Basically, hiscores. After playing for a while, you become pretty aware of how many people are well known or at the top of the game. It may sound pessimistic, but it's taught me that it's nearly impossible to become a world famous athlete, become president, or win something huge like that; It's okay to do lower jobs and be happy with them. On the other hand, if you work hard, it is possible to succeed.
