  1. I've had this problem before, it seemed to me that talking to him more made it take longer for him to stop shouting at me, so just try to keep away from him for a few hours, then give it a try again.
  2. This only works with 1 skill at a time though, and if you want to do more (ie. see what your hp will be after 70 attack and defense) you have to do some weighty number-juggling. No, I'm pretty sure you just put in all the stats you'll end up with and click "Hitpoints" and it calculates roughly what your HP level will be after getting all of the other levels, based on your current XP.
  3. An optimal inventory would be 13 buckets of sand and 13 seaweed with astrals and fires in your inventory, while holding an air staff. Per 13 buckets/seaweed, you get on average 16.8 molten glass, it's 130 crafting XP per cast, and it's relatively fast magic XP too. The main thing is, you make a profit. :
  4. You need about 100k for one waterfiends trip... You say that as if you don't profit from Waterfiends.
  5. Judging by your other thread I'm tempted to say "Quiet down troll #-o ", but I guess this is genuine. You can get Firemaking Brawlers as a drop in PvP worlds, quite tricky to get though, I wouldn't suggest hunting for them on their own, it's more of a random gift really. :
  6. [/Helpful suggestion] Seriously? Drop it? Are you [Developmentally Delayed]? He could get 1.8M+ on the G.E selling it straight away, or waiting for it to rise like ALL new items do, and sell it for 2-3M+ depending on what it rises to.
  7. Beat me to it by about 15 seconds.
  8. If money really isn't a problem, buy 5-10k for now, see how slowly they go down and work out a kind of average for tasks, so you get used to knowing how many you'll need, and you can just go buy more before the task. That's just my way of thinking about it.
  9. Do some quests? Or try finishing all of the Diaries if you haven't already? There's not much more I can say really, if you take a break even for a few days, things should be a bit more fun when you come back to them.
  10. Nevermind, finally got one after hours. xD
  11. How could you get to 96 summon and not know the answer to that lame question. Whoes account are you using. DO you know how many charms 96 summon even takes? where did you get them all. Stop being a tool, take in what he's saying. He's gotten to a point where his Summoning is getting close to 99, but so are his other combat stats, and I'm pretty sure the point of this thread isn't to find the most efficient charm dropper, it'd be easy to say waterfiends or rock lobsters, but he wants to find the best summoning xp with the smallest amount of combat xp required to get the drops. ~ As far as I'm aware, I'd say King Black Dragon, to be honest. I'll try to think of some others, but I'm really not too sure.
  12. Yeah I'd say mage the melee brothers, or you could even mage Karil since he's very easy to mage with Slayer Dart. Here's a tip that a lot of people don't think of: If your tunnels brother isn't Verac, but you've killed 4 already + found your tunnel, go down into the tunnels like you would normally, this means that you have a chance of being able to safe-spot Verac, whereas in his tomb you're always going to be in melee range and possibly take damage even with prayer.
  13. I read on Runescape Wiki that all of the Runescape songs are stored on your computer's cache as midi files, anyone know where to find them? I was torn between whether this should go in H&A or the technical forum, please move it if you need to.
  14. Alright thanks, time to stock up on those spices. \
  15. Okay, so I want to get the Varrock Armour 3 and of course, I need to do the medium tasks aswell, I have a few left, and I decided I'm going to use a Stew to smith the Adamant Medium helmet and pick the poison ivy berries. I need to get a cat training medal as well as getting (alot of) spices for stews. Does catching a hell rat count towards the cat training medal? or is it just normal rats? It'd save me alot of time considering how many hell rats I'm going to catch. Thanks.
  16. I might do that actually, that's 3.2m going from 54 to 70, seems a bit much though. -checks current prices for inflation- if you dont want to spend that much and don't mind it taking longer do iron knives smelt iron ore with ring of forgeing and make into knives but this would be quite slow as you would need around 15.5k iron ores to get to 70 but you would profit if you do mith bolts you would loose 7m gold overall is best i think its good speed and decent cost Yeah, that's what I've decided to do now, it's a good balance of cost and time, and since time is money, the extra time saved will probably be enough to make it all back. : Now, the magic question, any suggestions? I've never used those Lunar spells, so I can't give any advice to my friend, but it'd be a lot of help if had some suggestions. The main reason is, we both get bored of things quickly, so he's gonna train mage in the bank while I smelt. :)
  17. Ah, all of this is really annoying me, before this 76king crap was about, iron knives easily made profit even with bars bought. :wall: I should've just got it over and done with when it wasn't bad money. xD I'll just do it the fast way, I'm going to smith gold ore with gauntlets, and lose a few mill, I guess it'd save alot more time that way, and with the time saved, I can do things like Slayer or skilling. : Thanks for all of the help, it's really... well, helped me out. I know what I'm gonna do know, thanks again. ~~ Still looking for some answers with the Magic though. #-o

  19. Yeah nevermind on that, you've gotta be 60 to use the anvils and there's a fee for exiting, can't do this yet. But note at 60 that on the Blast Furnace world you don't have to participate in the mini-game at all (low leveled people like to get the off tasks' exp) and you get to halve the cost of all the coal and it's quite fast. But yeah, people would probably suggest the gold gauntlets are an option: expensive but fast. An old method was steel plates to alch them, but that's probably far outdated and wasteful, lemme check the pricings. Thanks for the help so far, I'm trying to look into it, I used to do Iron Knives when I was poor because somehow they made a nice profit, though the prices have probably changed, I'll check again in a second. I can't remember exactly what I read, but probably something about Iron Platebodies? Because of the fact that they're 5x faster than knives and stuff, and there's nothing else really good up to Mithril Platebodies. Maybe Mithril Bolts? Not sure. :P
  20. I've never tried the Blast Furnace, any options that I can just smith at a normal Anvil? Or even smelting? Edit: I'm not really a mini-game type. :P I'd rather just smith something in my own time then have to do things like Stealing Creation or Blast Furnace.
  21. I'd say get it now, the economy is too unstable to estimate when it'll drop, if it ever does. I imagine it'll go back to normal, but not any time soon, unless Jagex fixes this 76king business soon.
  22. Yes I believe you do, it just smelts two in the time it'd normally smelt one.
  23. I think the type of log doesn't matter? I think they mean for the profit, because the price to convert Teaks or Mahoganies etc are different, and you have to buy those logs for different prices, and then even so, the prices of the planks change, so the type of plank may not change the XP, but could easily change the amount of GP you spend per spell.
  24. [/Life]Okay, so my friend is 78 Magic and he's recently brought up the question of how to train magic, he doesn't post much on the forums so I'm gonna ask here. [Life] He's 78 Magic and he said he'd Ice Burst Rock Lobster's 'til he's 80 Magic, How much would that cost in theory? and how much more effective is Alching, money-wise? At 80, thinking of String Jewelry to 86 to do Plank Make? Which is most cost efficient? What are the XP rates like? Things like this he wants to know. Thanks for reading, leave any questions if you need to ask me anything, I'll be on for a while, and thanks in advance for answers. ~~~~ Quick added question! Bonus round! \ I want to get 70-74 Smithing on my account (In Sig) and would like to know what's the most effective thing to do, money-wise and XP wise, I don't wanna spend hours doing it, but I hate SC, with a passion, so I'll just spend more time smithing, fine by me. Thanks again. 7 and a half points and a cookie for bonus question.
  25. Probably would be better to do ZMI with the Lunar Teleport, but I think maybe Graahk crafting is faster if not, depends on your RC level I guess.
