Optical Illusio?s
Please tell me it doesn't represent anything bad...[/hide] It's not an 'n,' it's an alt-code, I think for micrometers. I had a library book with optical illusions. Theres's some crazy stuff out there.

The Running Thread
PR'd again today, 5:52 mile. League season's over, but I still get to go to practices, but now it's optional. There are more meets, but they're more for other people- however I was invited to run this Saturday, in a 4x800 - wasn't expecting to be called though, I'll have to get more details.

Duke Nukem Never? *Gameplay Footage*
CoD4. Bioshock. Fallout 3. Watchmen movie. Anyways, I haven't played Duke Nukem, but I really like the name :twss: my cousin used to play it, I think.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
Yeah, apparently addiction runs in my family. So I doubt I'll start anything because I have a higher chance of ending up hooked. But if I did anything it'd probably be LSD My section leader in band was suspended for being high at school. Now he's out of EVERYTHING, and it sucks. He was really good. My band has Star Wars people in Trumpet, mostly stereotypical drummers, a bunch of quiet people on brass, a VERY different sax section*, a bajillion flutes (with 4 guys, and one or two hot girls), and an average clarinet section. Our conductor is a boxy fat guy who's wicked funny and he has a high voice and stuff. *Saxes include a beautiful but very shy tenor, an impish looking thinks-she's-cool-cuz-she-has-a-friend-who-hangs-out-w/-upper-classmen, a stoner who's pretty  , a hot senior, the most beautiful and talented freshman in the world (who also has red hair, that's my confession. I'm a ginger.), an annoying Mexican Portugueñan (?), and a girl who is sorta crazy, but I won't get deeper cuz she has a lotta family problems :-# Also, didn't I mention the beautiful freshman?

Runescape Anon
It's their problem. People are addicted to alcohol, but do we blame the millions of people who drink for one person who couldn't control themselves? Also, the 14 year old kid who died was not of the age suggested by the ESRB as mature enough to play CoD4. So the ESRB wins that one. Internet addiction is actually a problem in China though. I can't explain it... but I saw it in a Nat. Geo magazine. Maybe you can find it on the site.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
That's because your a dip-[cabbage]. Pot has an effect on you if youre stupid, like you were. If you dont want it to affect you, you only do it on weekends. Saying it changes your life is like drinking 10 beers before an important test then blaming the alcohol. People who do stupid stuff like is a reason why marijuana is still illegal. True 'dat  It's also still illegal because it's so glamorised in US pop-culture. And my confession is that I find it funny that NoobDakota created an account to tell us he was high. Some people can't physically do that. It's not a willpower thing if you're addicted.

Badassery
My uncle was in a gas station or something, to go to the bathroom. He's at the toilet, and a fly flies over the bowl, under him. He looks at the fly, aims a bit... ...and shoots it out of the air with his urine. Most awesome thing I can think of. He went on to run out into the gas station to tell everybody, and a bunch of guys apparently went to confirm.

Favourite game music
Soundtracks from Final Fantasy games and First Party Nintendo games have the best music, in my opinion. Super Smash Bros. Brawl has all the good Nintendo songs in one pretty much ( including the FE theme, which is best in Brawl I think), and the Legend of Zelda also has the best of Nintendo. [yt]o0Bd8pq-utw[/yt] [yt]dIu5LvkSKl4[/yt] [yt]t8Ki9RyzX0c[/yt] And of Course... [yt]2pojPL1quRA[/yt] (I can't figure out the YouTube tags, someone else do them and tell me what you did. It took me ten mins. to find out the ones without the feature=related) Fixed. :

do you play an instrument/in a band?? tell meee
I play alto saxophone (which generally means I can play most other saxophones, and clarinet. But I haven't tried), and I play a little guitar. We also have a drumset that I can keep beat with, but nothing too fancy. I'd like to learn how to play trumpet, piano, and violin. When I say keyboard, I mean progressive style, not classical piano style. I'd like to make a band, because in the words of the annoying-to-hell-bad-runner kid on the track team, "Being in a band gets you mad [kitty]." Does the school concert band count?

How much do [bleep]es help? I haven't been using them, but maybe I'll get my friends to share.

godly. this gets me thinking though- where i could view my school records? : This is on his personal site, I'm not sure if you can find school records. You probably could  Do stretches to work on that, particularly lunges (I think - don't trust me too much). Don't overwork yourself, and look into better shoes if you want to seriously run. I had knee pain, but I got new shoes and now it's mostly gone. Only stress is during lunges and deep stretches like that on my knees. That means there's plenty of room for improvement  Is that for sprinting  ? We did a 12 x 400 workout in distance because our meet was cancelled. My goal time (based on my PR mile) was 92 seconds - kept hitting an avg. of 85 (more proof of how much better I am at practices) Congrats, I also broke my PR on Thursday From 6:14 to 6:04 : Sub 6 next week, is my goal.

Fringe
Good episode this week, well played emotional scene played by Walter. But I felt like the Spock-man thing was sort of forced in. Sure it worked, but I felt like I was watching subliminal advertising for Star Trek (which I'll probably see anyway). I can't believe next week is the finale though  I still feel like there are so many questions... Fringe was renewed for another season though, so maybe this isn't the end. It would be kind of stupid to have The Pattern end, and then have another happen in season 2.

Ultimate Gaming Card?
It's like a gift card, only you can use it pretty much anywhere. I bought one for my Mom this Christmas - buy it at a CVS or such, and you can use it like a credit card wherever (Visa in this case) cards are accepted. I think it's cheaper too. $30 for a $25 card, over $7.50? for a month card, about... might be roughly the same. Pretty nifty, and probably smarter than picking up a card with RuneScape stickers on the front =P

Today...
As much as I love listening to men on the internet give me deodorant advice, I don't think I will (and it's too late). The girls at my school like Axe. Perhaps one day (specifically for the Science fair next year) I will go in-depth to see which brand and scent girls like best. And I promise to post my results. And today I went to school, track, Jazz Band, sleep. To be repeated tomorrow.

Today...
I woke up cuz I had a weird dream (I was the Altair from Assassin's Creed, and I was killing weird lizard things on a boat. Then I peed myself and woke up :?: ), went to my brother's First Communion, reffed a soccer game, played a soccer game, came home, ate, did homework, played guitar. Now I'm playing Final Fantasy XII and I just remembered that I forgot to buy deodorant today, meaning tomorrow is going to either A) smelly, or B) painful (due to scraping the deodorant against my pits to get every last bit). Then I'm gonna go to track, use my second deo after (which is also conveniently 99% empty), and go buy some Axe. The change from Old Spice to Axe will result in more ladies, and then I dunno. Sure to be PROFIT after though.

Iconic Band Posters
- procrastinatiooooooooooooon
I always procrastinate, although after my history project, I said I'd stop. I didn't. I got an A+ on my history project in the end though cuz my teacher is stupid. She graded both parts out of 100, and the final grade was the sum of those out of like 160. Stupid teachers.- Magic: The Gathering
Would you like me to explain :geek: ?- The Running Thread
Those are pretty amazing times. Do you run the 32? I personally don't run the deuce, but his time is 10:27 (not sure if it's his best). The best in the league belongs to a freshman at another school - 9:40 ish - The Running Thread
This thread inspired me to google my track captain - and he has his own website. here's some of the times I found: 400: 49 seconds (1st) Mile: 4:24 (1st) (school record) 800: 1:57 (1st) So yeah. We have a pretty great team overall. Fastest 100 runner time 10.1 (I think), high jump 6' 2", great sprinters for 400 and hurdles, and pretty good throwers (I think, I don't normally see them). Oh, and compared to the other towns we've competed against, I've deduced we also have the best-looking team.- Magic: The Gathering
I used to play this, but my friends stopped, and I couldn't afford to keep up/ play at Friday Night Magics. I still have all my cards though, if something should come up...- The Running Thread
I have a good pace when it comes to practice, but it's too slow to be an effective race pace. And I can't run faster long enough. I just do worse at meets :wall: And this Rooney only looks like me, remember. But most people just say all red-heads look the same. :P That's great for middle school. I wish our middle school had made me do track lol. Apparently they had a track team but I didn't know 'till like yesterday. PS. this track season is the first time I've done track/effectively run. The rest of the distance team did soccer in the fall, and one Freshman who did track since like 6th grade (he's pretty much a captain but he's freshman... he's a great guy). Then there's me and two others who've never really run before. - procrastinatiooooooooooooon
