I stopped playing FFXII a while ago because I wasn't finding it fun, but now that I'm a bit farther in it's much better. If only the people would talk more normal (Ashe and Larsa in particular). I'm trying to kill the Elder Wyrm as well, I'll have to use Sworddude's advice. Oh, and does anyone know why I seem to hurt things less later in fights? Especially bosses. Is it just them using Protect? EDIT: Got him :twisted:

Too late. This can be locked.~ My friend had an Xbox 360 system, but it got the RROD. They didn't know that the could send it in to get repaired, so the parents (who had recently divorced) EACH bought the children a new 360 - so they now have three (one which must be sent in). My friend (who does not play videogames at all), has said before that she would give one away to whoever wanted it, but no one has really taken her up on this offer. I don't expect to get a free 360 (I haven't heard the mother say anything on the matter), but I could maybe spend between $50 - $100 on it, and get it very cheap. The problem is, I can't keep it, unless my dad (who doesn't play videogames) wants to. My mom is pretty anti-videogames in our house, and she doesn't think we need 3 systems (Wii, PS2, 360). She is also very paranoid about M games - and most titles on the 360 are M rated. So I would be selling the 360 to Gamestop ($80 store credit). My mom said this is a pretty d-bag move, and that I should at least tell them that they can do that. What are your thoughts on this matter? I don't want to be an [wagon] to a family that already has enough problems recently, but I don't want to let an opportunity for a good, cheap system or a free $30 or so slip by. PS. I was going to get a job this summer, but I couldn't. So I'll be doing some odd-jobs around the house for money, and hanging with friends. Soccer captains practices will start some time in either early August or late July. Etc. I'll take it as it comes.

If you have 2 defense, don't you have a marginal advantage over people who probably won't find out anyway? I prefer having defense - when pures come up to me asking 'no armor,' I'm not going to be a [developmentally delayed] and give them an advantage. Pures are generally [wagon] anyways.

Wish I had the money - All I've heard has been good (unless you own a 360/PS3/PC in which case this game is pretty sub-average - but I don't!). Maybe for my Birthday.

I appreciate the idea (even though I don't support. I've said why multiple times), but on tif, there is next to no post size limit, and because of that factor, people expect thought out posts, rather than the RuneScape forum dribble that is useless (I think they have plans to change that). Welcome to tif, and if you're going to post things, just don't be 'that-guy.' Oh and people like grammar. Watch out for that.

Bands aren't that bad. The first place I went to gave me essentially a mouthguard to do the same things the bands could have done. I didn't wear it, and I had to get braces again. Different place though. I liked the second one a lot more.

I don't download illegally, but I've thought about it. There's simply too much music that I want, but I can't afford to buy it legally. But I don't trust Limewire, Kazaa, etc.

Hardest quest is MEP2, as said above. I used a guide - whoever did it without one deserves a reward. But even with the guide it was hard. Had an over 40 prayer bonus though, that helped a lot :P Contact! could have ended badly as well, I went in very confident with my un-extinguishable bullseye lantern, but luckily I asked the Tif chat if it could be exterminated. It could. Woulda died otherwise.

Alien Abduction. Intriguing, but [bleep]ing scary. Although most people who say they've been abducted show signs of Sleep Paralysis, and that makes sense. Oh, and Hostile Alien Visitation. I'd probably kill myself, honestly.

Battlestaves can be bought from Zaff every 24 hours. Without any Varrock achievements done you can buy 8. For every level of reward you have (Varrock Plate 1, 2, 3), that number doubles (16, 32, and 64 daily, respectively). You buy them for 7,000gp? each, and they sell for about 8,000, I think.

Note: I think the melee bros. (besides Verac) have the same def stats, +/- only a few points. Torag's: Cheap (I think), but the weapon (hammers) is near useless. Guthan's: Very useful set for slayers and camp training, given you don't have 68 summoning. After that, it can still be useful, but is just less so. Dharok's: Used best as a set, for the special. Best used in PvP and under certain methods of training- no real rec. use. Verac's: The skirt is useful alone, and the helmet can be too, but it's expensive. Has a nice prayer boost, but is best used as a set for Monster Hunting. Ahrim's: Wonderful armor, useless staff. The robes are better than mystic (I think), and have the defense of adamant armor. Karil's: Same range bonus as Black D'hide, but has better defense. So I guess it's good if you'l lbe taking damage while you range (it also has better mage def?) Barrow's armor is awesome. The only drawback is the degrading, which you should be able to cover, if you were able to buy the pieces in the first place.

30 minutes? I think the stats are different as well - Corrupt only requires 20 in the levels needed, and Regular needs 80. Wouldn't make sense if they were the same.

Do the brawlers die via cast, or do they have a limit of exp you can earn?

It's set during the Renaissance. actually with each new update it looks like Runescape is advancing in time, from the dark ages to the renissance The Romans had plumbing before then.

If you're fluent enough in German (Which you can tell by when you have dreams in that language), then would probably be the same as learning German from English. English has Germanic roots, which has Latin roots, so that might help as well.
