I hate buying used games and not knowing how to play because there was no manual <_< I suppose that's not so much of a problem now, with the internet and more in-game tutorials, but still. Seems like a fairly smart move - Cuts costs, looks good for environmentalists, etc.

I was wearing a hat I saw at Target (one of those Irish / Golf caddy hats) and my hair was long. All I thought was that I needed a haircut.

Probably something by Elton John. I don't listen to him really, he sounds good when I do hear him, and he's gay.

Mileage got upped today for track practices. Ran 6.6 today >.> Also, I might get a free accordion! I hope I do, but I keep missing the guy on his phone. I left a message, and he called back (even though I didn't leave my number (I forgot it cuz I just got a new one))... but I never really talked to him.

My local library's basement flooded, and now they're closed indefinitely... Luckily, I don't think there's anything in the basement that I personally would have been interested in - not sure what was down there, really, besides the bathrooms - and now it seems I can keep Dark Tower vol. 7 longer, and I've been taking a while with that. As long as it opens again conveniently as I finish I should be good =P

Vacation is next week, but I've already stopped caring about my school work. Have a HUGE English essay to do, and I'm not really doing good or on top of it. Got a 65 on the outline, which my teacher graded as a test, for the first grade in fourth quarter. [bleep].

I have homework due tomorrow, and she said she'll check it. She's already mad at me because it was due Monday... but I don't plan to do it... Oh well.

I got To Kill a Mockingbird today in school. I'm excited to read it, but I'm in the middle of the final Dark Tower... I hate when the curriculum does that to me. Might just blast through it on a trip to DC in two weeks :mrgreen: Also, I want to read Dante's Divine Comedy soon, is that hard to find? Or do people reprint it every do often?

My teacher has too many books analyzing Harry Potter.... TOO MANY. She is almost scarily in love with that book - her college thesis was on it and was 89 pages long :blink: (although I guess that's acceptable in college) One of the papers goes far enough to analyze Harry Potter fan fiction... I hate analyzation, past a certain point. At first it's cool to sort of make everything feel like it has more meaning... but then I think about whether or not the author really meant it :roll:

Lol, I like reading the strips in my Spanish book and knowing exactly what's being said, even though I probably couldn't translate it :grin: I've meant to change it, but I'm just... so lazy.... I have to do a literary research paper on a book, and I chose 1984. I read it once when I was like 13 at my dad's suggestion, and I didn't particularly like it... I just figured it would be easy to do, and it's not Harry Potter (although my backup was to research Dumbledore's homosexuality in the novels... but my teacher would most likely eat my head. She LOVES Potter). Now that I think back to it, it gets scarier and scarier :blink: Brave New World is mentioned in lots of the analysis, I'll probably end up looking thru that sometime soon.

I guess so - I don't even recall that section until now, and I probably would have assumed it as RuneScape related. Maybe changing the title will make it more present? Anyways, I've been reading The Dark Tower series. I'm soon to finish Book 6, and it's my first reading of Stephen King. I like the series, but I feel like it really drags on sometimes. I understand that he wants to make something epic, but a lot of stuff just feels like empty space... with trains. I think when I'm done I'll read Don Quixote - just curious as to how long that is?

Does the movie have to download completely before I watch it?

Bought Battlefield 1943. I'll add my PSN, if I haven't already, when I actually start playing it - I've been playing Wind Waker =P BUT how does renting movies on the PSN work? Please be somewhat detailed because I plan to watch Donnie Darko sometime tonight ^_^

Getting back into running quicker than I expected. Distances are still tough, but I've dropped back down to 8:08 over 3 mi compared to yesterdays 8:15. And I feel and know like I could do a lot better still, too. And the sucky weather doesn't help. I wish I had estimate times from last year, I never had a watch =\ @ Star: Thigh/Quads pain should be natural, I had plenty just last week >_> Your hips and back though, I'm not so sure of. It could be your posture? or even your shoes - last year my knees were blown out because I didn't have good shoes. I could barely use the stairs. Also, if you've just started running, how much have you been running?

Got $20 for PSN - what should I get? I'm dedicating $3 to rent Donnie Darko, so that leaves me with $17. I'm thinking either Battlefield 1943 or FF7... but leaning more towards BF1943.

Track today 8 - 10:30. 4.5 mile run in 42:18 which is good for me because I haven't really run since last year. Yard Work till about 2. Then I worked! First real job ever, bussing tables at a restaurant. $6.50 an hour + tips is awesome, got a total of $75 in my first 3 hour day ^_^ Soccer game sucked though. I'm definitely sleeping in tomorrow. I should probably go to bed now...

Track started Monday. I'm so out of shape - I haven't run since soccer in the fall, and that was running in cleats >.< Been doing about 3 miles a day, and I guess I haven't been doing so bad, but it's been tough.. But there's a lot of good Freshman this year. It seems like they're all just straight-trackies. All did cross country, all did winter... I'm gonna be left in the dust >.> Oh well. Quick question: Are cramps just below my shoulder any sort of bad sign? I only ask because I have health class this semester, and I don't want ANGINA because ANGINA may be a sign of a more serious problem cardio problem. The pain is small, and leaves before the end of my run, so I've generally been dismissing it as just an odd cramp.

Clark Terry Jazz Festival at UNH all day. Went pretty well, lotsa down-time to just sorta chill on a campus. Also, I borrowed Wind Waker from my friend to play because the OTHER copy I borrowed from another friend doesn't work. And neither did this one, but this one decided to become unreadable after an hour and a half of playing (during which I did the first Fortress part... most annoying thing ever...) -.-

The plugs / outlets are different, if I remember from my last visit to England.

Finished Kill Bill. Vol. 2 is odd. The transition from violence to dialogue was very odd and it felt sudden. I thought it really took away the momentum that Vol. 1 had. Still a great movie as a whole, and Vol. 2 was probably necessary to clear up some things about the storyline, but if I had watched it together, as initially planned, I'm sure I would've felt pretty odd about it.

Borrowed Wind Waker from my friend, but it won't play once I leave the starting island :cry: Guess I'll have to find it somewhere else...

Does anyone know how long it generally takes Ultimate-Guitar.com to admit a tab submitted to its site? Because I submitted one, then re-submitted it a month later when 1) I felt it had been long enough and 2) I had messed up a major detail. I res-submitted at least two weeks ago, and I'm fairly sure they say it'll be around two days. Thanks!

Kill Bill - although only vol. 1 so far, because I can't really watch it when my parents / younger brothers are home. I thought it was really good - great camera work, great soundtrack (although not as good w/o the movie - I downloaded the CD), it was fun, and (despite what I expected) it was very stylistic. I'm going to try and finish it asap, and then watch some more Tarentino - starting with Pulp Fiction, then probably Reservoir Dogs.
