If you knew how hard it is to make eyes that look anywhere near lifelike [/i]within the freedom of CGI, you wouldn't be saying that. DYK: If you breathe through a tube that goes up to the surface to get air while standing more than something like 2-3m underwater your lungs would collapse pretty much immediately. I saw it in this physics book that I have in my room. I read in Ripley's Believe It or Not about a man used for space testing who was sped up to Mach 5 or something and then stopped extremely quickly. The force of his eyes hitting his skull gave him black eyes, and I have a feeling that even if his eyes were closed, the eyes would come out. And I think I've also heard that breathing through a long tube would suffocate you, since the Carbon Dioxide can't escape the tubing.

But if the human race started with males having no nipples, or three eyes, then that wouldnt look weird. Men having nipples would have looked weird. I suppose. :P Jimmyw, you'd either bleed like hell, or bleed like hell and get a scar. Your pick. :P The scar would probably resemble a nipple.

I might end up getting it eventually. I don't really have money. Or work. I should probably look into that. I just hope anything I've earned will hold for when people buy the game =S

The full beta demo ends on Monday - but that'd be sorta cool I guess. I won't be buying it either though =P

So I got level 10 in MAG and tried Domination. It's MADNESS. I wasn't really sure what to do, and 256 players is simply chaotic. It's really, really, REALLY, chaotic. And I'm not really sure if that's good yet. I guess I can praise the technicality of it though. This game is HUGE, and there's not really too much lag to speak of. It's definitely there, but the game never really feels like it stops (like my computer is doing now). It's pretty awesome, but It's low on my list of games-to-buy as of now. As Perapk pointed out, it is just a shooter. A big one though. And headsets probably help, but I doubt people will be using them to organise. At least not too in-depth =P Also, a question - is there any way I can choose to chat with friends while playing a game? For instance, if I'm playing Batman and they're playing MW2, can I set up a voice chat?

1. When you play MAG do the names of kills get cut off on the left? Everything else seems to fit on my TV... 2. Does the PS3 controller charge if the system is off?

Do you get levels by kills or wins? I only have like 4 kills (not including a FF... test by my brother)

I'm playing MAG - seems good enough. Not great in terms of shooters, but 256 online is pretty sweet. Look for Ginja_Ninja2. I have a headset, but I'll probably not be talking too much.

I haven't played it, but I really want it. I've found that it's hard to find on the PS3 though. If you can find it, I'd say go for it - it's supposed to be great. You could also try the first Uncharted, which is $30 now, new (Gamestop.com)

Got PS3 for Christmas ^_^ And guess what - more questions for everyone :thumbsup: Basically, I need to control chat settings for online play. My mom is (probably right to be) paranoid about the internet, and I need to ease her mind. And I hate selective people. So, how can I mute certain people, and how can I regulate my younger bro's chat (again for my mother)? The only game I have online right now is FIFA 10. Thanks.... again!

How much space willthe CD take up with those settings?

I'm ripping with WAV encoder, Custom (48.000 khz, 16-bit) with error correction box checked. This was suggested to me before, as the most high quality. Setting it to 320kbps Mp3, should I use Variable Bit Rate Encoding? And what about the selections below (Sample Rate, Channels, Stereo Mode)?

How can I change the quality of ripping CDs onto iTunes? Right now I have the settings as high as possible, and the CDs take up way too much space (about 1gig per). I'd like the CDs to come out clear without taking up too much space. Thanks, and Merry Christmas ^_^

Does Uncharted 2 have offline multiplayer?

I think it was more of them being The Beatles. Sorta the same with Green Day - everyone was listening to them when American Idiot came out, and tbh 3-chord punk is prolly really fun with the full band.

I'm getting a PS3 for Christmas, and I have a few questions: 1) What are some must-have games? Right now my thoughts are InFamous and Uncharted 2 (and my (rich) friend said he'd give his copy of Mirror's Edge). Right now my parents won't let me play M games... but I'm hoping they'll start to let up soon. 2) Any advice on the M thing? The game I want most that's M is BioShock - is that bad to start? Keep in mind my mom is completely bias to anything with an M on the box, and should probably be swooned into it easily. Also, when I was describing it, the whole needles / harvesting little girls thing didn't help. 3) What is the online like on the PS3? My brother wants to chat it up, and wants a headset - what's good to look at? 4) What does it mean to download a game to your system, when you want to play it? Is that like the Xbox, where you download to decrease loads and sound? Thanks a lot, in advance.

Today I came home to find that my cousin had given my youngest brother his old iPod nano. My brother isn't really big into music yet, but when he listens, he probably isn't going to want music that's still on the iPod. Now, I don't really want to just throw away all this music, and I know that iTunes is completely paranoid about sharing music, but is there any way that I can get the files from the iPod onto my computer? Note that my cousin's music is mostly downloaded or cds - probably more mp3 rahter than iTunes' protected mp4. Any help is appreciated!

Nng. Bad day. Off day at school - not feeling sick (like the rest of my school (Swine Flu)), but just really out of it. Didn't wanna be there at all. In Spanish last year, I had a 93 average all year. This year it's down to like a 70. I really hate my teacher, but I don't want to drop it until next year. But I think I did bad on my test today. I was worrying all day about giving a presentation in English by myself ( I should be in a group of 3 (sick)), but she said I can wait until Monday. Soccer game - I had the wrong color socks and had to panic for an extra pair, and then I found out that I lost ONE of my (new) shinpads... Presumably on our field two days ago. And then we lost. Good news is, Pickleball starts on Monday! And I was able to borrow a Soprano Sax from the school, so maybe I can get something out of that. Three-Day weekend... but I have practice tomorrow. I'm reading Steven King's Dark Tower. Almost done with II now (He just entered The Pusher), and I like it. Gonna be harder to get thru when we start reading in English (Including Catcher and the Rye, ^). After this, the next on the list I've yet to make looks to be Dante's Divine Comedy.
