TBH, you people that say it shouldn't be used are looking at it all wrong. When people say "NP" to someone else, they don't mean it to be hurtful or anything, they mean it to be the same thing as "TY." If you really would get offended by it, get off the internet.

TBH, I think its because of yew bots being banned. Not as much of them are out there so less yews in the economy. I kind of wish they were still around because now you can't even buy yews anymore. I was going to try to get to 99 fletching seeing that it is so easy. But I spent hours and hours trying to buy yews but no one was selling and everyone was buying.

Yes you do. Against NPC's and players. I often run past some poison spiders and think that protect form melee would stop the poison. But I often get poisoned even with it on.
