  1. last cinema film was Finding Nemo 3D, epic! Iron Man 3 this weekend, then sadly gf dragging me to fast and the furious 862, i think they're cyborgs now or something
  2. sturridge played well, by far the best man on the pitch, but equally he should of been sent off, especially after the reds yesterday
  3. tbh liverpool were shocking today, with another ref they'd be lucky to finish with 8 men, how they had 11 is beyond me, and tbh, after already serving a 7 match ban for the same thing suarez should get banned for at least a season from all types of football, if you did that in the street you'd get arrrested and there's no footballing argument that can change that, he's an absolute disgrace
  4. well dont i feel like a douche, i did it about 40 times till managed to succeed solo to get the fish, how do you claim it?
  5. you get fish for failing? :S
  6. surely guthix vestment legs, for the pokemon version anyway!
  7. Working on it, but being 17 and having lots of other people wanting jobs = bad. :( Walk into shops, ask to talk to manager, hand them a CV. Walk out. Repeat. Easier than you'd think. Places like Waitrose, Homebase, Sainsburys are always looking to employ cashiers. It's just a question of pulling your finger out and going to them. depends where you live, in lots of areas in london pretty much the only jobs you can get are unpaid or apprenticeships that leave you with less money than if you had no job, i've known people hand out a decent cv to around 70% of town shops and supermarkets a good 3-4 times, which is probably over 200 cvs handed out, then get no replies at all or just time wasters, a lot of the country is like that, you can join an agency and get work here and there, but you might end up working 1 day a month and probably lose your csa for it, i personally do work, but i also have seen how hard it can be to get a job, especially straight out of uni if you've been in education all your life, people want lots of experience over degrees and such, but you cant get experience without a job, vicious circle for somebody trying to get into work now
  8. gratz on something i dont think i could do in my whole life!
  9. bugger, didnt know that! cheers
  10. I got boots yesterday and they went into inv, I've always banked because I presumed you had to drop things to keep going, I use the totem to avoid poison and just bank heal, though I wear full godwars with Dom gloves so could do plenty of trips without the healing, just gotta get rid of my band habits, thanks all :)
  11. and cheers, id been doing the checking for snakes as i read its best, id also been banking at mobilising armies, only took a few seconds but i guess they add up
  12. with a full inv do they drop to the floor when you loot? and will it still warn me when i get ibis or just drop to the floor with no message?
  13. i'm getting around 15k a run max and 11 runs an hour, am i doing something wrong or is that pretty normal? so around 500k per 3 hrs, i have no avatar and only 1 penadant, which im saving for agility at some point
  14. i wish i had 6-10 hours spare in a day, in general i have 2-3 max and in that time i have other things to do too, i probably pay full attention around an hour a day so finding out i'll have to do extra days doing the same thing because i set myself a goal of finishing the desert tasks for some reason is pretty disappointing!
  15. Hey all, first off, can i boost to enter rooms in pyramid plunder? if so then is abyssal lurker my best bet at level 87 to get in the final room? I don't wish to use spicy stew thanks :)
  16. 89 is 88k something
  17. are you using a bunyip?
  18. The reason they want so few is so that everyone who's doing them will be doing them all at once. There's no point to it if there's no competition, so there has to be a good crowd for every warband. If they capped it at 3 a day (the most you can do in a 24 hour period atm) and doubled the rate to 4 hourly (so there's only 6 in a 24 hour period) how exactly would they become super sparse? The trouble with 8 hourly, as i covered in my post, is it can end up with a cycle where you can never actually reach the content. It's simple. You've now spread out all those people over twice as many spots, and so you have half the player density per game. They want a really high player density per game in order to enable the pk-er aspect they want. Not entirely true. If more people can access the content due to the run times not excluding them entirely then you'd get like 150-200% more players per day than from the 8 hour games, so even with the extra time slots player density wouldn't take too much of a hit. Plus like I said it wouldn't become super sparse - they'd still be enough for a decent competitive pker element. It's all very well extolling the virtues of the 8 hour cycle, especially if you CAN get there - but it doesn't alter the fact its a poor choice as it is entirely possible that a lot of people simply cannot play at any of the times. with different worlds having different times, they could quite easily hop
  19. So there I was, happily jaunting around on a clue scroll, a treat for me after finishing a Slayer task, when I had to scale the mighty Ice Mountain to see my pink suited friend and his double dealing acquaintance. As I arrived, there was somebody ranging this said beast of a man, normally I would hop, but as he was struggling I thought I'd stay in case he died and needed his grave blessing. So as I was waiting for the eons it took to range him we just chatted about how, unless you're using high tier gear and air based magic, he is one of the most over-buffed things in the game. When he finally killed him, I spawned him myself to show him how easy he was with mage, before the other chap could get his casket. So I quickly dispatched of him and we both got our caskets, him first, as it was only fair. While I got a few fire lighters and a couple of rune items, all I could see on the chatbox was "hfgjshsgdjkfg" and "dkjsgsheas", then up popped a trade request. Low and behold, he'd gotten a 3a helm! At first all I could wonder was, what would've happened if I'd gone first? Despite it only being 31m in trade (unsure of real value), it's just an item I'd always dreamed of getting, but there it was right in front of me but blessed to another. But, after my initial hatred, it gave me a renewed hope in clue scrolls, yes the odds are tiny, but I do enjoy doing them. In short, when you see or hear of somebody getting a drop you've tried so long for, or a goal you've always wanted to reach, does it inspire you to manage it yourself, no matter the odds, or does it just make you feel like it will never be you?
