My main issue in this thread is why people like you allow themselves to be emotionally manipulated by refusing to ignore this thread which is an ability available to them. And the cycle continues. While I agree that the thread isn't about that, I also agree with the posters who are genuinely confused by the argument that cutting willows is somehow more fun than cutting any other log. Doesn't make sense. But anyway, the OP still won't tell anyone why he can't find the option to turn public chat off, or why he doesn't know how to use the ignore list.

While TIF and RSC are better for clans than the RSOF, there are many great clans that operate solely on threads on the RSOF, so the suggestion that TIF and RSC somehow singlehandedly save Runescape by providing a place for clans to congregate is asinine. Sorry, but we're not that important in the grand scheme of things.

To quote something I posted on a friend's blog... Well, "good luck on your goal" and "congrats on your goal" for a hundred or so pages is ridiculous. This is a bunch of friends trolling each other as friends. The guys in gen discussion may think it's a cesspool because of it, but it's pretty much the best part. It looks like spam, but we're all having fun with it, and unlike spam in any other thread, it doesn't disrupt anyone. Rate This, on the other hand, needs a fix. Really, anything is better than what it currently is. It's pretty much legalized trolling. I completely agree with this. I love Blogscape, especially now that I'm not playing RS (real life obligations, etc). It's a place for me to relax and talk to my friends. When I want to post serious stuff, I go to GD. I would really rather keep Blogscape a light-hearted place. If it were to become heavily moderated, I wouldn't really have a place to talk to and joke around with most of my friends. I mean, I could probably add some of them on Facebook or something, but that seems like a lot to ask of someone. Rate This!, on the other hand, might need a bit of improvement. I agree with Bladewing in that most people tend to interpret low rates as flaming or whatever. I really don't know how it could be improved. I like the poll rating idea, as it would eliminate the "omg he rated me 3/10 must be a personal attack" thing.

Personally, I just don't like graphic t-shirts. As I said, if they kept it simple and just put a small, generic god symbol on the breast or something, I'd probably buy it. I don't mind people knowing I play. If they asked what the symbol meant, I'd tell them.

I really wish they'd keep the designs simple. Anyone remember the Bandos 150th quest hoodie? I would've loved it if it only had the Bandos symbol, but they had to slap the 150 on the front and GRAARDOR'S FACE on the back. <_< Just give us t-shirts with god symbols or something. Keep it conservative. I'm not buying a shirt with a big picture of Zilyana on the chest. Also, most of their joke shirts aren't funny in the slightest.

To both previous posters: The RSOF would still exist and suffice as a medium for discussion, even if it's sub-par. I was very active on the RSOF before I discovered TIF, and while it's a madhouse, there are a lot of great G&A threads and skill guides (Mega Slayer Guide anyone?). Sorry, but fan sites do not keep Runescape going. That's a ludicrous claim.

I do MTK and bstaffs. I never do penguins or ToG -- they're horribly boring/annoying. I stopped doing Bork after 99 summoning.
