  1. your cousins won't like that :/
  2. Pro. Way Sted's a jerk for deleting me. <_< But I never talked to him anyways, L.
  3. It's worth noting that full bandos + SW cape is only slightly lower prayer than proselyte + fire cape, so you can comfortably use protection prayers in full bandos. For hellhounds, I'd probably just opt for the protection prayer. I prefer it to soul split flashing.
  4. Very interesting ranged slaying section. I wouldn't have thought of MSB. What about adding a hand cannon at 99 firemaking? I don't know if it would have higher DPS or not, just throwing it out there.
  5. Ah good point, forgotten about junk... bloody ge haha :P What if he had all the junk he needed to sell it with? Sorry for the vague answer, but those party hats and that cracker would be worth billions and billions. It's pretty amazing.
  6. I have issues with this line...but I can't really think of a way to say it, nor feel like thinking about it since I've already made my opinions clear on this thread. What he means is that it's stupid for them to be there because they're going to be crashed, inevitably, hence it's not in their best interest to be there. EDIT: But considering that neither you nor I know what you were trying to say, maybe my comment is unnecessary. :P
  7. Cool story. Now explain to me why the pre-elites can't become elite and compete with me. I certainly didn't have trouble doing it. Hell, I still consider myself to be pre-elite at 137 and near-maxed stats. Let me ask you something, on your way to becoming level 137 with the elite stats+equipment+resources, did you stop and do other stuff? Or is all you do just train at armoured zomebies/ soul wars for days on end just so you can become an elite player? I'm betting on the former. And at this time in the game, the thing to do with your friends (or without) is minigames or boss hunting. Its what the majority enjoy to do. Nothing is stopping the pre-elites from becoming elites, but it's not going to happen overnight, and as a result there are always people in the pre-elite bracket. Also, nowadays, the elites have MUCH better things at their disposal, so it's much harder for a pre-elite to fight with them (doesn't mean we're going to bend over and hop for you everytime we see you). When you were a pre-elite, it was probably AGS as the hardest hitting weapon, with no extremes, no turmoil, etc. That makes it harder for someone to crash, since piety + a weapon like BGS or whip/defender was pretty common at Bandos. I also remember teams asking for 110+ combat instead of whatever it is now. What I'm trying to get at here is times have changed and elites have gotten more powerful, while pre-elites have found it harder to catch up. And leveling up takes a long time, also there are new waves of people becoming pre-elites everyday, which to you it will seem like the pre-elites just stay pre-elites. Getting to 137 is no different now than when I did it (which was like, what, five months ago?). I raised my combat stats through slayer. I got the money for 95 prayer by killing a few TDs (which aren't especially crowded). By 99 slayer, I had the money for 92 herblore. In fact, I've only been team boss hunting FOUR times in my entire Runescape career, and I made maybe 1M total from those four experiences. I knew not to solo Bandos because I couldn't do it efficiently (though I did try it a few times for the LOLs). I went to TDs because I could kill them reasonably fast and they weren't (and still aren't) very crowded. I really don't see why a 120 can't put a little effort into it like I did. It wasn't even that hard. I did it the SLOW way, too (slayer).

  9. Opinion. Fact. You'll have to explain that one.
  10. Now just let us watch the matches. YES!
  11. I like the general idea of pitting two players against each other in a "forced" death match.
  12. Okay wow wtf kind of blog do you think this is. you can't just say stuff like that. Im not the one who's waving my crappy longsword everywhere. lol pun

  14. If crashing a lower level player benefits both myself and economy, how do the ends not justify the means? Lower level players do not find it as easy as you to get out of theboss room and back in, while getting kc back. Seriously, I don't see anything wrong with crashing, but don'T give yourself good conscience by saying it's "good for the economy". The time you'd need to world hop is nowhere near the time to get back kc. I don't feel guilty at all. No justification needed here. It would be detrimental for me to hop, so I crash. Pretty simple.
  15. Block kalphites, rock creatures, wyverns, and waterfiends. Black demons are great for effigies and slayer exp, so they're not worth blocking.

  17. Personally, I'm being facetious when I say that the 120 is a jerk for not helping the 138 get kills. ;) I play for me, hence why I prefer solo to group activities (for the most part). But it is a valid point that slower players are actually more detrimental to the economy than efficient players. It'd be much better money for the low level player to camp blue dragons than to solo two Graars every trip. Conversely, it's much better money for the maxed player to camp Graar than to camp blue dragons. EDIT: Frankly, this subject was discussed to death in the other thread. Every time I see the word 'crashing' I get a sense of deja vu.
  18. I completely agree with this.
  19. Token answer from someone stuck inside a box. Try thinking outside of it sometime. If they both killed it together it would die faster and respawn more times per hour thus increasing the output of bandos junk. A balance of competition and cooperation are what successful societies are based on. You're absolutely right. The 138 and 120 should be working together on that non-LS world to take Graar down! The 120 is such a jerk for leaving. If he would have stayed and helped the 138 get drops, we'd have more BCPs, tassets, and hilts to play with. Just goes to show that people who are against crashing are against a healthy economy. :/
  20. This is true. It's more beneficial for the community for a maxed player to solo Graar than a 120 with a BGS, thus the crasher is actually the good guy. EDIT: I'm not following you. Are you implying that being competitive in a competitive game is . . . bad? Are rugby players bad people because they enjoy tackling other rugby players?
  21. I would probably use lunars to slay if it weren't for ice wyrms.
  22. I'm pretty sure we (and I mean myself, SirIzenhime, Stonewall, xpx, etc) had this same exact discussion on the crashing thread.
  23. What...? That just proves my point. If you can't clear a room of nechs, you don't need a Full world, so you can hop to the next one where someone isn't already there. If someone comes and joins you when you were already there, then fight for it. We're talking about someone joining you when you're already there, we're talking about YOU joining them, and making them move. I know people to crash to be an ass....I just think it's an ass like move. I'm not confusing cause with reason. I know the reason, AND the cause. The reason is to get a few K more xp/hr, the cause is making someone else move. It's better exp/h for them to spawn faster so that you don't have to run around the room chasing them, hence why full worlds are better. And like I said, a single maxed player can ALMOST clear the room. On a 1k pop world, one could easily clear the room. I really can't think of a case where a low population world is actually more than or equally beneficial to a slayer (except for DKs on task or something like that). EDIT: As an aside, I have personally almost never run into a player at CT nechs on a full world who wasn't maxed or very near maxed. I always hop for those players, because it would be VERY detrimental to both of us if I tried to fight for the world.
