  1. FYI, OP is a known troll. He's been banned from FSC for a long time now.
  2. This guide is two years old.
  3. Yes. Then keep doin' exactly what you're doin'. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, I'm just saying that it's not my thing. If I'm slaying and the monster area is already supporting the maximum number of people, I'll hop, because I personally don't enjoy causing people frustration. I can see how the idea of overpowering and forcing someone's actions could be fun, so more power to you :D Crashing slayer spots is a bit different because not all of them are multi. You can't really crash anything in Kuradal's dungeon, so it's best to hop there. On the other hand, a level 110 slaying dust devils on a high population world is fair game. As stated multiple (read: a few thousand) times in this thread, crashing is not about fun - it's about efficiency. As an aside, my response to your original question was facetious.
  4. Out of curiosity, what would the gp/hour be for soloing rex (with a yak)?
  5. Where does character come into play?
  6. According to Bladewing, ice barrage costs an extra ~700k a trip, but it's very convenient when 2.5briding because you can freeze rex if he spots you while you're on supreme, and you can choose to just farcast him if you don't feel like safespotting. On top of that, it hits slightly higher. Whether or not it's "worth it" depends on what you value.
  7. I'm really sick of this thread. This entire page is an exact copy of pretty much every page before it. "Crashing is sociopathic (Obtaurian's note: anyone who claims that crashing is akin sociopathic behavior needs to take an introductory psychology course)." "No, it's necessary due to the limited number of non-LS worlds, abundance of competition, and the lack of variety in boss monsters." "WELL YOU'RE JUST A MEANIE HEAD!!1@@" And so on and so forth.
  8. Nah, i'd say it's more like saying "get demoted" Because you aren't changing what you do, you're just settling for a lower position (if you actually did hop) Finding another job would be to go to another boss/monster [/smartassing] Actually, it's more like going to a public park and chasing people away from the picnic table you prefer because you have the arrogance & the muscle. It's sociopathic and indefensible in either case, but people will do whatever they can get away with. People don't make a living sitting at picnic benches, FYI. Your analogy is terrible.
  9. Basically, they both have one or two niche uses, so it just depends on what you do more. Can't really go wrong with either one (given the choice).
  10. That was quick. IMO, herbicide > bonecrusher. The experience from the bonecrusher is negligible, while the herbicide makes spectre tasks much more click-friendly.
  11. Decent experience, but probably not worth doing at 93+ slayer due to needing modern magic for ice wyrms. If you slay on lunars and are <93 slayer, set up a cannon and have fun.
  12. Good save. That +1 bonus < 10% spec kept what about berserker (i)'s =\ Yeah, I'll take my +8 strength bonus and spec restores over +3 strength and one or two extra specs an hour.
  13. Yeah, I don't believe it. SOMEONE would have taken a picture.
  14. Holy [cabbage]! +1,000, LOLLLLLLLLLLL
  15. I assume the winner got to buy the hat for GE price? That's awesome. =D>
  16. Just found this band. AMAZING. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5DPW9ED1WBs&NR=1
  17. Article #1: I actually disagree with Squareroot2. I think teams made with the grouping system would take at least two hours to complete a floor. The ragequitters would be in abundance because getting into another team would be easy if everyone used the system. The key to making good, reliable teams is to be very selective about your teammates. A random grouping system would do the opposite, as you can imagine. Article #2: You recapped the plot of The Void Stares Back, listed the rewards of a few other quests, and asked us to give our opinion? I was kind of waiting for you to give me YOUR opinion. I mean, you did, but a one line article isn't very exciting. As per usual, I don't read the fictional articles. No offense. On a more positive note, I can't really see how these articles can cause any huge debates, so I guess the authors will probably be safe this week. Someone's going to prove me wrong, I'm sure.
  18. I'm about to go to a party with my BFFLZ. I look sharp as [bleep]. Brought my herbicide.
  19. I use a scroll of life to optimize seed usage.
  20. You want to last longer, so I'd assume a Chaotic Kite-Shield is the best. Just remember your Anti-Poison Totem to avoid taking too much STD damage. I use a longbow sight to help me aim.
