  1. Depends on what you're doing. You wouldn't use a familiar on a six man team, but you should definitely use one for FFA and solo.
  2. While a single maxed player could not clear the CT room of nechs (though he'd come close), it would only take one other player to severely compromise the experience. It doesn't really matter if a player can't a clear a room of any monster on his own in a full world, because it would only take one other player to ruin it for both of them. That's why crashing slayer spots on full worlds is often necessary.
  3. I'M A [bleep]ING MAGICIAN
  4. In 2005 (maybe 2006) I decided that I wanted 70 ranged. I fletched 15k steel arrows FROM SCRATCH. I mined the coal and the iron, I cut the logs and fletched them into arrow shafts, and I hired a bunch of newbs to gather feathers for me. It took me a pretty long time as you can imagine. Would've been so much easier if I had the sense to just buy them. DIY sure is fun.
  5. close enough Dude, the CLS isn't fast enough for jackrabbit style or powerful enough for bashing style. The only thing it's really good for is taking on a chick who I guess will SORT OF let you hit her some times but other times she'll hold out on you. Then, the CLS is probably the most enjoyable. Y'know what I'm talking about, right? General Graardor? Man that [bleep] is hawt. One time I even managed to get its chestplate off  Personally, I use a chaotic staff and ice barrage. It doesn't work very well on Graar or Kree, but it dominates those big Rex-y ones who just want to beat you. :/ Also, I'm a [bleep]ing magician.
  6. OP kinda decided that it was gonna be an CLS or a CR. Besides, maul isn't really practical for DPS. Which is what i think the OP is going for. And after reading through the thread again, i rofl'ed like crazy. I was talking about [hide]PENIS[/hide] size, but okay. Gremmy proved that the maul is too intimidating and robust. :/
  7. okay wow :/ I literally thought this at the time. LOLLL
  8. As I say on all of the other BA threads, full penance will get you into pro teams in less than a minute on world 6.
  9. lmfao I love you. [spoiler=Must be 18 or older to view. ]btw I got laid tonight. 3rd dates the charm HEY OH. it actually wasn't very fun tbh. you ever see those porns (of course you have) where the chick just seems like she's really mad at the guy's penis? Yeah, it was like that. lmao i can't [bleep]ign believe i haven't gotten a warning for the [cabbage] i post on my blog.
  10. Obviously you should make magic cape racks for your construction experience. :/ And remember that the gravite shortbow has the best DSP of any chaotic weapon.
  11. Depends on what you're doing, really. When I was getting 99 magic, I used to lunars (and Zaaps' guide, incidentally) for farm runs because it would've been very inefficient for me to switch back to modern magics for them. I don't necessarily disagree with you. It's situational, really.
  12. reported for impersonating an impostor ;/
  13. Yeah, I agree with this. Agility is slow and tedious, so I think using at least two of the lamps on that would be well worth it. I wouldn't use them on construction because it's fast and relatively cheap (especially with SC tools). As far as utility goes, your best options are herblore and prayer, but I understand that you're trying to get a quest cape, so agility and herblore/prayer would be your best bet, IMO.

[14:24] <@Ninane> !spell fertile soil [14:24] -[VV]RuneScript- *** [ SPELL ]: Fertile Soil | Level: 83 | Exp: 87ea | Runes: 3 astral, 15 earth, 2 nature | Cost: 1,457gp - 1,534gp - 1,611gp [14:24] <@Ninane> .ge supercompost [14:24] -[VV]RuneScript- *** [ GE ]: [M] Supercompost: 931gp 980gp 1,029gp (Today: +10/1%) (1 Week: +2/0.2%) (2 Week: +23/2.4%) (3 Week: +55/5.9%) (4 Week: -41/4%) | 4 week average price: 964gp It's cheaper to buy the compost from the GE than use that spell, looking solely at price. Using a mixture of coconut shells and pinapples are one of the best ways to go. You can use fertile soil on a patch AFTER planting the seed, and it's actually faster, so if we're talking efficiency, fertile soil is worth using for faster runs. Why would you talk about efficiency in a thread that focuses SOLELY on price and nothing else? I see your logic but it's nowhere even close to what the OP requested. Because I can? Next time I'll forgo the useful information, jeez.
  15. But NOTHING can affect the drop rate. Nothing. Even though I'm statistically supposed to get a certain number of dragon claws per kills, getting a pair does not suddenly lower my chances of getting another until I reach such-and-such number of kills. It wouldn't matter if effigies and clue were on the same table (which I highly doubt they are), because you could just as easily get an effigy/clue on the very next kill. What he's saying does not contradict what I'm saying. What's your point?

  17. Abyssal Demons DO have higher defense than most other slayer monsters, regardless of whether or not you notice it. That said, I'm going to echo everyone else and say that you should use piety and gear that balances prayer bonus with strength bonus. You'd reasonably want around 15-20 prayer.
  18. Clues have always been on their own table. While I cannot prove that they're on separate tables, I highly doubt that they are. As an aside: Yet another SirHemen thread where he asks a question and argues with everyone who gives him an answer.

  20. No. And what is your reason for saying NO? Because Runescape does not keep track of what drops you've had and calculates which ones you're "due" for next. It's all random, but there's an average, and getting an effigy or an elite clue does not suddenly change your luck or anything like that. Statistically you'll get one effigy every such-and-such kills, but you could get one EVERY kill, theoretically. EDIT: By "get an effigy every such-and-such kills," I mean over a very large sample size it'll average out. I don't mean you're due for one every 150 kills or whatever.
  21. I love this thread so much. Oh, on-topic: Get a CR, etc.
