Holiday items are stupid in general. Only one I find even remotely amusing is the snowglobe, which I mess around with every once in a very blue moon. The bone brooch will be ignored like all the others.

Stick with the salamander or do pure magic. You don't have the stats for pure melee.

Wow I actually did some skilling, and mining of all things. Got about 90k exp I think. Also got 73 mining. Yay I guess. dropping granite isn't all that bad. Didn't use mousekeys.

Considering the other references to metal bands, it's not really far-fetched to connect 'every rose' to Poison and a death clock to Dethklok. :shades:

LOL, dunno if anyone's mentioned, but there's a searchable "death clock," which is an obvious reference to the metal band, DETHKLOK. LOL. Jagex is cool.

In Runescape, having nearly maxed combat makes me feel like somewhat of a badass . . . IN RUNESCAPE. It's that slight lack of badassness that really drives me (looking at you, 95 prayer, 95 ranged, and 80 dungeoneering <_< ). Runescape does nothing for me IRL. I can't say I've ever met a girl who was impressed when I told her I had 99 slayer. But in all seriousness, I can see the OP's point about maybe failing IRL but accomplishing things in RS. I just don't have that. I'm just as goal-oriented IRL as I am in RS, so I would consider myself to be pretty accomplished in both worlds.

The last two days before 99 slayer, I gained around 300k exp a day. 8-) But man it was slow going up until 97, which is when I started slaying HARDCORE (like maxing my exp/h for four hours every day. I was a cool guy.) EDIT: Oh and when I was about 80k exp from 99, my hand was so sore and I was so tired that I just used two dragonkin lamps to get it. Good times. I miss that. :/

I would say yes, but I'm really not in a good position to start a perm team. :/ My job is pretty much going to take over my life starting in a couple weeks, and I literally have to be available 24/7. It'd be really hard for me to say "yeah we'll get together at such and such time". On top of that, my laptop bit the dust a few weeks ago, so I'm using our family computer that sucks [bleep], and I'm asked to get off every 15 minutes so my brother/sister/mom can use it. I doubt I'd even be able to run skype and runescape at the same time on it. Until I can buy a new computer and I have a set work scedule, I'll be using w148 and 117 here and there. :/ I always start playing Runescape a lot less when I can't play for hours on end, 'cause I get REALLY into it when I play, so it just makes it hard for me, if that makes sense.

But like we have to make that fail perm team work. Lol, you and Enaid are the only two people I've been able to get in contact with from that team. The other two are... gone. duhn duhn DUHN
