Haha....I got 99 firemaking with willows...hearing you say maples is so slow is so funny. What I did when I was bored is draw pictures with the logs and then light them on fire. LIke the next level you are going to get... or mabey a heart? Whatever you want to draw. Also try going to different areas to train. Not really much else you could do.
