I'm not trying to ridicule for this and, thank smeg, there are still some people out there affectionate and caring enough to try and make an effort for someone (good on you), but I just don't see how singing that will achieve this, if you follow me. If you're hellbent on doing something lyrical, I truly hope you follow this man's advice. Do you like constantly ruining other peoples confidence? Isn't that every day? Yes, technically so, but on this day it's tangibly understood by the numerical increase of one's artificially organized process of aging. There's a reason we celebrate B-days: it's 'cause we're trying to keep away from the omens of aging :P . Blame the Romans, like we should for everything . Yup, Romans and Pagans pretty much are the reasons for every celebration we have (relgious, national, etc.). Christmas, Easter, Birthdays, etc. Then of course there were a few others started by various movements, Communism, and pilgrims. And with Misfile, I sense a break-up in the making. I don't understand why people in the US should fear their government. Without the people's and companies (which are made up by people) tax money, surviving on import taxes and tariffs, USA would be a 3rd world country. Everything they do, plan, execute (even the salaries they recieve) are paid by the citizen. They don't just magically appear as a god-given grant by a council of sages. Hey, we can mock the french all we want, but when the taxation got too heavy and the rights too few, at least they had the balls to literally gather up all the tyrannic nobles and put their heads under a guillotine to take the power in their own hands. Nice one, once again we have a take revenge post. Are you implying we should chop the head off our President and his family, possibly after torturing them. Nice misinterpretation. He meant that people shouldn;t fear the government, because without them, it would be nothing. The French showed this during the French Revolution, gathering up the nobles and getting rid of them. While I don;t necessarily agree, I can understand what he means. You should try sometime.

Anyone else find this a little suspicious? I mean, really, who just leaves an unpassworded, unprotetced flash drive, containing all their personal information, bank accounts, etc. lying around in some computer? I think it was planted, maybe as a sociological experiment as to who would return it, or maybe it has a keylogger (if that;s possible). He may have been trying to steal your latest research paper :shock:

I'm getting tired of the "only in America" comment. And yes, that is called reverse discrimination. It has been happening a lot lately. If my estimates are correct, within 100 years, the situation will be pre-Civil War, but with positions reversed. It may not seem that serious now, but it micht pick up. Because the human race of 6.5 billion people inevitably fall within the two categories of 'liberal' or 'conservative', 'democrat' or 'republican'. Pretty sure you're being sarcastic here, but still, I would love to see you classify me :D

That's exactly what I was thinking of... The idea of wearing my grandfather's remains on my fingers or neck doesn't really sound appealing :-# I think the whole idea seems pretty cool. It's like wearing the cliched locket with a picture of them, but...it's actually them. Adds a little bit of a personal touch and better sentimental value.
