Wow, I just got this on stumble upon. :lol: So what's the side effect to "Atomic Punch"? Obviously, you can't just run around drinking it and never ever die. Do you slow down?

I know. A really useful novelty, though. Plus, when driving, you are invincible to all but assassination. You can be lasered, rocketed, have frag grenades chucked at you (maybe not plasma or [bleep]e), tank'd, run over a field of trip mines or even be in the flying elephant and your shields won't even flicker.

I was driving through a river when it started raining cattle. There was some other stuff, but it was weird and seriously creepy, and I don't even really remember it very well.

Played a little last night. Big(?) team slayer on Sandtrap. The whole team rallied around the elephant. I was driving. It was a basically a mobile battle fortress, and it was awesome because the enemy team kept charging up in warthogs and choppers and trying to board...oh it was great. Really gave it a whole cinematic effect to it. And I got a double kill somehow, with the elephant. I was driving it, backing up actually, and all of a sudden I see "double kill, killjoy" and I thought wtf? I didn't even see anyone behind me. I got 3 kills with the elephant all told. :thumbsup:

I got Barf Bagged and Red Mist last night. It happened the way it usually seems to: NM1, jump off the building as soon as they come out, barf before they know what the [bleep]. I almost escaped. Almost. I had actually hit them before when they were in the house and escaped, but only hit one guy.

It's just riddled with bugs, the main 2 issues though... 1).The smokers tongue. 2).It's pure lazy not putting Death toll and Dead Air into Versus mode. 1. What exactly? It breaks sometimes for no apparant reason? Doesn;t do enough damage? 2. DLC coming soon. Even the 360, and it'll be free.

Got Stalker working finally. Feels good to be able to get beyond playing the first mission or two.

If by shooting cars, you mean hiding on top of one trying to get the survivors to shoot you, then yes. It's a legitimate strategy!

I don't remember exactly, but it was impossible for me to put my arms down. I mean, i could, but they would fly back up. When I woke up, my arms were spread above my head. Kinda cool.

Haha! I found the solution. Since my hardrive isn't C:/, I had to find a document in the game files and set the drive to where mine is. It worked! Thanks Joe for your idea :thumbup: So yea, this can be closed.

I recently downloaded Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl from Steam. It downloaded fine, no issues, it runs well (just a big of lag every so often, nothing big), but there's one problem; I can't save my game. I go to the menu, save game, etc. but when I click the "load" button, there's no option to load anything. Quickload and Last Save don't do anything, either. The game registers it as saving saved; that is, there's no error message, it even says, "Game saved". Quicksave gives the same message. It just doesn't work. I've tried reinstalling it twice, and that hasn't worked. From what i can tell, Steam automatically downloads patches, right? If it doesn't, could that be a problem? The version number in the corner is more than 1.0, can't recall exactly, but that means that some patch has been added, yes? Any help, however useful, is greatly appreciated.

I got my Stomach Upset on Daed Air, actually. I was just extra careful to check behind me all the time, and my bots did the rest. And whoever wanted to try Nothing Special this weekend, I'm up for it.

And Boomer bile dissipates if you barf over a building. I don't know if any of you guys have ever barfed over height, but it sure as hell doesn't dissipate.

Hello, new desktop wallpaper. The pyro boomer seems so unfitting, and yet, at the same time, it makes almost perfect sense. Plus my 2 favorites combined is awesome.

I think this could play into some stretegies. You could hit the ball towards an engie and have a spy sap his sentry and he'll be unable to stop it depending on how long the stuns last for. Better than that, can you hit sentries?
