The Secret Of Life
I saw this on Oprah, laughing the entire way. There was a woman who had a "vision board" or something like that, a bulletin board where she posted what she wanted to gain and looked at it every day. And here's the kicker; she said-paraphrased, mind you, this took place many moons ago- "You can't just put up the picture and just hope it comes. You have to actually work for it, and that's what makes the Secret work." Well, duh. Hard work gets you what you want, no secret there. No universal attraction, no energy force compelling you towards your mindset. Just good ol' fashioned hard work. Something we've known about for years. Centuries, really. But I guess hard work isn't entirely commonplace in today's America....

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
A pride of lions at every wrong turn. OT: I once stole something-I forget what-from a friend by sticking it down my pants and carrying on as normal until I left. I gave it back at some point, I think.

I cant find any good MMOFPS
Syphilis is the most common STD in the world. Its obviously doing something right. Popular =! Good. You're comparing a STD with a game? A popular game must be good if a large number of people are liking it. Games = positive. STD's = negative. A popular negative (which is an STD in this case) doesn't make it good, it makes it bad. Something that's positive (in this case a game, could be anything, a car, stereo, pc, song, whatever) must mean it's good if a large number of people like it. What about HIV?

Your opinion on violence and killing in video games?
You mean after playing a rousing round of Halo, putting down the controller and thinking, "Wow, the way I can slice people up with the energy sword is awesome, I want to go try it on someone for real!"? No. As a result of seeing people killed with an energy sword, is it imprinted upon my subconcious so that I may be more inclined to think my violent thoughts with increased amounts of bladed weaponry? Well, I haven't noticed anything, but the first time I saw an energy sword used was a long time ago. I'll file that under "maybe". Or just a feeling of "I suddenly want to go senselessly murder someone"? No more after playing a violent game than normal. In monosyllabic structure, no.

Enlistment (and stuff)
Tough [cabbage] for those momma's boys. But a low-population nation should have a strong defense force, as a larger country seems more likely to attack them as an easy victory. But since normal workers are needed, have some kind of rotation; serve for this period, go back to your normal job and someone else takes your position for this period, switch off again.

Googlebombing Ranking TIF #1 [Runescape]
This is legal as long as it isn't intentionally offending someone (Like in the case of searching for "Miserable failure", which lead to a first result of George Bush's profile on whitehouse.gov) I remember that. I didn't know that was googlebombing, though. And I just typed "failure".

Your opinion on violence and killing in video games?
Actually, we'd probaby still be in the age of platforming adventure games. Which wouldn't entirely be a bad thing.

Your opinion on violence and killing in video games?
In Aus it is rated M, infact games and movies are more strictly rated, with quiet a few games having to be altered for Aussie viewing. Halo's rated M everywhere, dude. Nah [hide=][/hide] it's 16/T in Europe :P I got the european version as a present years ago, I dug up the CD cover just now to make sure. Never installed it though, lol. Impressive. Most impressive. What'sthe list of offenses on the back? Blood/gore, violence, and language?

The Little Things That Bug You
After opening the cover of a paperback book for more than 2 seconds, it becomes unchangeably bent backwards. Left sitting, the cover will pop up a good inch or so, no matter what sort of weight you set on it for whatever time. Drives me crazy, since I buy paperbacks more often than hardcover (price differences).

We are all doughnuts, meiner Freundin. When life gives you lemons, burn them. There's no wrong way to eat a Rhesus. Even a man who has nothing can still offer his life. I built an entire speech around that one recently.

I've found that I've really stopped caring about getting stuff for holidays. Must be the Commie fully settling in.

Another RROD Thread
1-800-4MYXBOX There's a menu, go through it, eventually you'll get ahold of an Indian guy. Hopefully you can understand the accent, sometimes it can be tough. Follow their instructions, it's just easier to do everything even if you've already done it. Trust me. Find a box that does NOT advertise alcoholic beverages (found that one out the hard way), print the UPS tracking label they send you, and ship away. Then wait.

All jokes and such here please!
A drunk decides to reform and serve the rest of his life as a monk. So he enlists in a monastery, where he spends his days copying ancient texts for distribution. AFter his day on the job, he becomes slightly conerned. He talks to the head priest and tells him that since all the monks are making copies by hand, and they're only making copies of copies, which were also hand copied, if one text had a slight error nobody would ever realize it. The Head priest says, "Yes, that is a genuine concern. I will go into the monastery basement, where there is a vault containing the original texts and compare it to the most recent copy." Well, after 3 days the priest still hasn't resurfaced, and the monks become concerned for his safety. So the new monk goes down to check on him. Upon arrival, he finds the head priest with the original text and copy, with his head down, crying hysterically. The monk apporaches and tentativly asks "Father? Are you alright?" The priest looks up at him, teary-eyed, and yells, "Dear Lord! The word was CELEBRATE!!"

NetFlix via NXE
If you all have a netflix subscription then yes I believe it is (Although it may not be implemented yet). You can not do this for DVDs/movies etc. locally, has to be from netflix. But wait, we all have to have Netflix subscriptions? Damn, there goes my participation in CMN....
