I am on 64 all the time, except when playing puro puro. Sometimes 99, but I tried most of the other worlds, and 64-66 works best :wall:

Hi, ever since the new graphics update (from which i expected more, but thats another story), I've been expriencing lag on BOTH details, although to a lesser extent on low detail. However, not only lag, I've noticed the loading time when you tele/walk to a new area/etc. have increased. By that i mean the little box that says: Loading - please wait (___&) takes longer to get to 100%. This could be a big problem for those using teleports to train mage (which is a very good way for people who dont have 55 mage), because they would be waiting for that to load everytime they tele, or it could just be very annoying in our normal game-play. I also have another question, is anybody else experiencing this? Or is it just me?

I dont think you have to wear it to make your skull colour go up.

By armadyl sword you mean the armadyl GODsword right? Then I'll answer your question, not everybody have 95m to spend on a sword, but 9m is more affordable, and plus the ss isnt that bad.

I dont think using Recoils is an easy way to train slayer. Each ring gives 40 exp (if i remember correctly), and you have to use food that adds up to at least 40 hp. If you think using recoils are easy, you can totally try it out for yourself.

That is a very inefficient way to get 99 mage. If you dont want hp exp, then: 1. Do witches potion & imp catcher 2. Get 19 mage either by stunning/confusing/or ur method. 3. Use curse with -65 mage bonus until lvl 55 4. High alch to 99.

I understand your problems, and for me, its even lagging on "Low Detail". I originally thought they were gonna keep the old graphics and add this HD as another choice, but they just had to change the old, real Low Detail as well :(

Is anyone else lagging on both the HD and LD? This is really dangerous because I am using Dh at the moment, and I get really scared when my screen stops then i see 5 hits on me at the same time. Also, when i drink my str potion (4), the bottle disappears but when i put my mouse over it, it still says str potion (3) on the top left corner. Also, on the equipment screen, nothing shows up, but it still says what im wearing when my cursor is over it... Anyone else experiencing the same thing?

the elemental wizards, although the fire and earth ones might hit hard. If you plan on training mage on these guys, then use the matching element attack and it will splash all the time so you have no need to keep constant watch on the screen. If your planning on using curse to train, the target doesnt have to have good mage def, just wear full plate armour (any will do), green vambs, str/def ammy, fancy boots and water staff and just curse away. Good choices are scorpions, cows, the mage of zamorak in varrock castle, etc.

But slayer is a good advice, and it takes you to different PLACES. For other places, try flesh crawlers and/or yaks. Btw, PC stands for pest control, which i dont really recommend for you

No, you need all 4 parts to make the effect work. And as others have said, your stats arent good enough, i suggest you train att str and def to 80+ then try it.

Just start Fairy Tales Part 2 and get fairy rings, you don't need any reqs for the quest, and you unlock them at the beginning of the quest. Yah, it wont take that long at all, i think less than an hour. Use the tipit guide, really helpful.

Start slayer? I dont know if its possible to do at lvl 8, but you can train all of your combat stats along with it.

Yea, but you need to do the family crest, and i doubt he has the requirements and/or the combat level to battle the 170 at the end. Is that suppose to be an insult...? Anyways thats true, im a pure mage and only level 18 combat. I have to work on prayer and defence to raise my cb. What is the xp rate of firestrike'ing lessers on crandor? I thought it was bolt spells? Not sure though. And the guards on the top of the palace have been changed the last time i checked. You could try fire striking the monsters in the Tzhaar, just use the sulfur vents as safespots.

A very interesting article. I personally think Jagex is putting a little TOO much time on graphics, instead of gameplay. There are many issues that i think are more important than the graphics, such as developing a better pvp system. I dont think anyone is playing runescape because of graphics.

I'd say getting all 99s (maybe not only getting 99s, but doing everything in that skill) for sure, then do all quests & diaries, and then unlocking all the music tracks... the list could go on for a while. Runescape is a game with no end.

Kill cockroaches? Or, just use the usual wc/mine/fish.
