Agree, 100%. The first album was pristine and crystalline black metal in the vein of HLTO-era Burzum. Very reflecting and brooding. 'One Step Closer' invokes images of a fallen warrior crying over his dead wife's body after his village was raided. Their latest album sounds like a Dimmu Borgir and Blind Guardian fusion. [bleep] gay. I only see images of the lead singer sucking that other guy's sausage while jacking it to Shagrath. Thank god, I was reading the post and didn't notice that it was you, Adio. Was about to punch you in the face and then I saw your name. Hah I love yoru post xD. Hmm bands that have died... Acid bath, Sepultura after Arise (Although roots is okay). Metallica after Kill 'em all, that's the only album I really liked although some of their hits are pretty good. (Master of puppets, etc.) The possessed break up although they're back now but I haven't listened to them yet. Probably so much more but I'm to lazy >_>.

I like them both actually. If I'd had to choose probably Iron maiden though.

You've alienated to both the two germans as well as the girl. Probably because you never see them, internet-relationships don't really work (Most of the time). Get out and get to know some people that you can meet every day. No point in trying because clearly the girl isn't interested at all and besides you haven't even told her you felt anything for her, you did two things with her. You went to a metal concert with her, you really think that's romantic (No offence, quite the metal fan myself, nice line up btw) or something that could create a 'spark' between you two? Well ofcourse it is possible but you barely even know the girl! Either way you should meet up with her a little bit more or just go on (Which I strongly advise). Go out with some friends, go to a party, check out some girls ;) !

I've never been a huge fan of Thrash, so I can't recommend you anything on that. One Sludge/Doom band I've been liking recently though is Acid Bath. I was trying to think of a song of theirs that kind of epitomizes their style, but I couldn't, so I just linked you my favourite song by them. Zion, you might like some other Post-Rock. If you're new to the genre, definitely have a listen to . They're quite famous, so you've probably already heard of them. According to my high school it definitely is. Lets take NWA as an example. They used to sell their albums on streetcorners because they couldn't get mainstream, the lyrics were to explicit. (Didn't you like Sage francis? An underground rapper?) The most annoying thing that I hate about people whom hate "rap" these days is that they compare Rap to Strip-hop (Eg Low - Flo rida) Jeez, I have so many more underground rappers/rap groups, that our person whom likes Nirvana so much and thinks that they ARE NOT mainstream, probably doesn't know at all. Examples would be; Aztlan Nation, Boogie down productions, DJ kool, Eazy E, Hen-Gee & evil e, Lordz of Brooklyn, NWA, Sage francis, Strickly roots, Tuff crew, Yomo & Maulkie, Young lay, ... I could list many more but those are more subgenres from Rap. Oh, Zierro, this isn't to flame you or something. It's for the topic starter. He even got so far to make a spam topic called "RAP SUCKS" that does it, I wanted to kick his sorry little [wagon] and I hope he's in for a discussion. (probably not)

I wouldn't know what to suggest you, thinking you like Grindcore as well as Death metal aswell as Industrial. I listen to Grind/deathcore/death metal aswell but I don't think you'd like the bands I listen to.

Well Solidus, I hate to tell but... You were right :( . I finally got rid of the one-itis. You, my parents and last saturday made me realise that there are so many more girls in the world. I thank you for all the good advice you gave me (Although I barely listened to it). My parents for telling me that I'm to young to go in a long-term relationship. Which is true, Jeez! I'm fiftheen for god's sake why would I even want a relationship in the first place? I should be enjoying my youth without any restrictions on whatever I do. (Well, some, but you know what I mean). Set them free into nature, it's where animals belong you know :P ? I don't really care what happens to the animals. I've actually been a vegetarian for over two years, no reason at all actually. I just felt like it at the time. Why does anybody do care about the animals by the way? They used to get hunt, a bone/stone spear thrown into them. Probably still alive and trying to run away then someone cracks their skull. It's still the same the only diffirence is that we now feed them untill they are fat enough and kill them afterwards.
