Did your actions result in estrangement? Looks like they didn't. In that case you have nothing to worry about, what's done is done and as long as there are no negative consequences it shouldn't be a problem.
  2. Part I7! ----------------- A hideous creature met the sight of the two terrified humans. A jet-black, ragged pelt stretched thinly over a powerful body, with large, bat-like wings protruding from the shoulders. The hind part of the animal resembled that of a bird, fur merging almost imperceptibly into feathers and the legs ending in clawed talons. The head, though the size of a tiger̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s, was that of a wolf. It lifted its lip to snarl, the deep, sonorous growl reverberating throughout the room. Ivan froze in shock and terror, but only for a moment. Reason quickly caught up with him and he grabbed Stephanie by the arm, pulling her toward the door that was their only hope of escaping without becoming food. But even as they dove toward it, the door was obstructed by one of the creatures as it bounded into the space between them and the door with incredible speed. Ivan skidded to a halt and nearly fell in his haste to get away from the creature. One look behind him was enough to tell him that there was no hope of escaping in that direction either. They were well and truly trapped. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅLooks like this is it,̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
  3. I lack the proper equipment to "have a cow". Anyway, I'll update this afternoon, already started writing it, but I have a paper for school to write as well so I have to finish that first. Procrastination FTW.
  4. Oh, I'm certain there are other forms of life out there. I'm skeptical that they are visiting us in flying saucers.
  5. ^ Agreed 100%. Personally, I find these difficult to read because of the irritatingly simplistic style as well. It doesn't flow, and makes for a really frustrating read. Couple that with everything everyone else has said about story, and I've read like two parts of it :? .
  6. is it doing it starting from EP 1? If so I might watch it. [hide=http://www.adultswim.com/schedule/index.html][/hide] ZOMG! I had no idea if Mith was telling the truth, but they actually are starting Death Note! And on Saturdays! In place of... Bleach!..!?!? Wait, are they literally cutting off Bleach for Death Note, right before the Byakuya fight? I can understand just before the fillers, but right at the climax?? WTFOMGZORZ!? That has to be illegal! [image found while checking tonights schedule, just saw that out of the corner of my eye o_O]. . . . Dang, I've never seen you spaz like that.

  8. average american attitude, thatd be impractical/impossible. And what is that supposed to mean? It means that m4tty is bashing Americans again.
  9. Isn' t that dictatorship? If it's a automated system, whom do you salute?
  10. You said you weren't blocking good. You saw what you wanted to see -- the other team commiting fouls, which they probably were, but the refs have to try and see the whole game. Maybe the only part they saw was your teammates blocking illegally because they were frustrated. Refs aren't omniscient, and if they see and call one thing out of ignorance of the other there's nothing you can do about it. So yes, it can be frustrating, but I doubt a defensive end blowing up in the ref's face is going to help matters.

Yup, Plato's Cave of shadows. Perfection is a concept. We can visualise and think a perfect circle, but we can never draw it. Nothing new, really. Would that mean that the human mind is able to be perfect, then, by being able to imagine perfect things? I wouldn't say so. We can think of the concept of a perfect circle, but since it in reality there is no such thing we can't imagine what it would be like, because we can't experience it. So when kelem said that ideas can be perfect, I would interpret that as concieving the idea of a perfect something, but not being able to visualize it. It's like trying to imagine a new color. Impossible, because our senses have not experienced it. So I would disagree with what Goddess said, but agree with kelem_ryu.
  12. Whether they're "real" or not, they're still UFO's.
  13. UFO=Unidentified Flying Object. Going by the definition, and nothing more, yes, UFO's exist. People tend to think UFO=Alien, which is not true at all.
  14. . . . Nice.
  15. I think it's LP. Aye, that's right.
  16. That can be said for pretty much all the Halo games. I still don't get what's so special about them. I'm pretty mch in the "Just another FPS" camp. I mean, yeah the online is fun, but everything else. . . can be found as good or better in another game. It's way to overhyped, and as Nad said, has way to many fanbois.
  17. Isn't it Satenza with the lyrics in his sig?
  18. Why yes, dincha know? I'm not the only one either. Woopidoo has the asterisk as his avvy and Flea in his sig. Rock out RHCP. Fine. Don't mention me, who was at the same concert as you. Oh, and I'm doing an English paper on john Fruciante so yeah... Keep 'em coming! Call yourself a fan, and you can't even spell his name. That's why I didn't mention you. Sheesh.

Lol, way wrong forum. What is it that escapes people about "not runescape related"?
  20. Can't Stop - RHCP 8-)
  21. Part I6! ----------------- Ivan stood once again in front of the door that was the only place to go. They could not stay in the tank room forever. Especially not with Kelvin so recently entombed there, and its stain of tragedy. He looked to Stephanie, who nodded to him, looking apprehensive but determined. Ivan turned back to the door and turned the handle. It opened easily, evoking s range of emotions within him. He pushed it lightly and it swung inward, revealing a dark corridor that yawned ominously, daring Ivan to enter. With a last glance to Stephanie, Ivan stepped forward, she following close behind. He could tell that the corridor was a parallel to the one which had been witness to Kelvin̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s demise. The only difference was the lighting. In this new hallway, there were only iridescent bulbs spaced every ten feet or so, making it extremely gloomy and uninviting. But it was the only way to go and have a hope of getting out. So Ivan pressed forward, looking around for doors or adjacent corridors. He came upon one sooner than was expected. They had not traveled for but a few minutes when they happened across a set of doors, one on each side of the hall. Ivan decided to try the one on the left first. He gripped the handle and turned. Immediately the most disgusting stench Ivan had ever smelled washed over him. He heard Stephanie gag behind him, and he quickly snapped the door shut. The smell lingered, and unpleasant mixture of many chemicals and other less identifiable odors. Ivan tried the other door. Just before he turned it, he noticed the logo inscribed upon it. The eagle with a snake in its talons was embellished upon the steel of the door, staying Ivan̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s hand for a moment. He was not sure what the logo̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s presence meant, but he did not know what the logo meant and so could make no inference. He shrugged it off and opened the door. The room beyond was thankfully devoid of stink, but also of nearly anything else. It was long and narrow, with a black door at the opposite end and a strip of discolored tiles in the center of the floor. The walls were nearly all glass, showing a panorama of absolute blackness. The lighting was yet again different; here the lights hung low, long, and yellow, like those of an asylum. Ivan moved warily into the room. As soon as he had cleared the door, Stephanie entered as well. She passed him and moved further forward, looking around. ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅNot much to do in here, is there?̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
