  1. I don't understand why Russia opposes it so much, but this is a terrible time all the same. A bit of an insult to Russia, I guess.
  2. pfft like you knew the max was exactly 2,147,486,647 yeah you might have known 2.1bil but not 2,147,486,647 :shame: It's the max amount of numbers java can have... It's nothing new, so this is just... a no brainer. sorry I don't do Java (Python ftw?) so its not just... a no brainer. Type "max number of coins in runescape" into Google. Check the results. If you have thumbs, it is very well possible. And for those who've lost theirs (like me) it can be done, just with more difficulty.
  3. That's a physical condition though, isn't it? They actually have the organs to be technically whatever (or both) gender(s). Although they do usually have more traits leaning towards one side or the other, I think.
  4. It's funnier for foreigners due to the stereotypes of stupid Americans I'm sure, but I still found it funny. But that's because Texans think peaches will make you stupid. Also the 2012 stuff is the year of the Mayan Apocalypse.
  5. They can only arrest strongly suspected terrorists without a warrant, I believe.
  6. Um. Anyone can do this, and it takes exactly fourteen seconds. If you have a slow keyboard.
  7. I wanna [bleep]ing punch you. 100000000000001 points. And that's in binary.
  8. Run, he isn't curing a psychological illness there. They're curing Broken Heart Syndrome.
  9. A Californian taking stereotypes out of proportion? Go figure skating! Oh, no wait. Figure. My bad. He's right though. It's not that there aren't any liberals in the south, it's just that there's a larger percentage of people that hates some liberal thinkers. Just like not all Muslims are suicide bombers. Yeah, I know he's right. I just hate stereotypes. Stupid surfer Californian. (Ooo, a funny! :twss:)
  10. Who would deliver the money? Who's to say the governments in Africa won't keep the money?
  11. I don't think I'm gonna get Pub Games. For one thing I'm an awful gambler, so I'd probably end up in debt, which is supposedly gonna be bad in the game. nd for another, I wouldn't want to start out super rich or poor. I'll just mooch off my friends. (YES WTFMULTIPLAYER)
  12. It is called revenge. I'm sure you as a Christian know much about it. And how does my faith have anything to do with revenge? And how come someone of the Islamic faith always and only wants the virgins and the afterlife? They're human beings too and feel hatred, lust, and revenge like Christians do. ...I just wanted an answer. That wasn't one. :| Your faith is against such things as revenge and Christians certainly do feel it. As well as everyone else in the world. Just because someone is not a Christian and does an act of revenge, doesn't mean he's doing it for his god. I'm sure several Christian husbands had their wives cheating on them and the men maybe thought of some sort of revenge. It certainly didn't mean he was going to humiliate/hurt/kill/whatever her in the name of Christ, right? That is just one example but the point still stands: Not everyone does the things they do for their god. Apparently you understand neither faith, but I'll tell you what I do know of extremist Islam - the suicide bombers do it in the name of Allah. Their motives might not just be that, but I really doubt they're killing Jews and fellow Muslims for sheer revenge. Radical Islamic leaders are incredibly powerful speakers. They motivate those people in ways I doubt either of us have ever felt. Sure, their motives probably aren't just for Allah and the paradise they're offered - but I'm sure it plays a part. I still don't understand why you brought Christianity into this, but I'll let that rest.
  13. Well it certainly made me giggle. :

  16. Augh, that's exactly why I was iffy about posting that - and it wasn't even directed at you, hohto. I just wanted to get it off my chest. You've surely seen the same thing when someone goes against the British (who are in quite good numbers on the list of debatists). I don't want to reply turning this into another America versus everyone else debate.
  17. SOMALIA SOMALIA SOMALIA! Seriously. This is turning a lot like it. Blue, religion is a very powerful tool. The leaders of Hamas want political power and wealth, but do you think the man blowing himself and his family up believes he's going to get some money for it or something? No, he believes Allah will grant him eternal paradise with all his virgins. I'm not even gonna touch more about Iraq, we all know what that ends up as.
  18. Your parents had sex a lot that year. And possibly the next one. Just wanted to point that out/possibly make you cry.
  19. This won't end up World War III, nummies. There would be far too much at stake. Not to mention, for it to be a world war, wouldn't some of those countries - likely the UK, possibly Finland could get dragged in - have to be in? I think it'll be a bit like the beginning of Somalia. Whether it ends up like that I can't say, but that would be a bit of a worse-case scenario. Blue, I'm in public education. Here in the South it's fantastic. You have to realize that it differs state to state, and even county by county. I get free textbooks that are fairly new, great selection at libraries, access to a grand computer lab, all sorts of things. From an outside view it looks worse, and news will always look for the worst cases they can find. The worst part of our education is standardized testing - it's getting so bad in middle and elementary school the whole curriculum circles these tests. At least in high school they don't give a flying [bleep] about it. Although I do agree that the textbooks could stand to be better, at least we have them free and for every student. Also, I'm really getting tired of everyone speaking of how arrogant and stupid American citizens are. If you've never visited this nation, and traveled to every state, you have no room to speak, just as I can't speak of how conceited I believe the British to be (purely from run-ins on video games), as I have never even been there. Also, as to not being able to point out some countries on a map, if citizens in England cannot point out Missouri, Michigan, Wyoming, and Alabama, then citizens in America would not need to point out, say, Latvia. [arrogance]You're just mad because we're better than you :twss:[/arrogance] Phew, sorry, got off on a bit of a rant. A little bit of anger there, so I apologize if I offend anyone. Continuing with the topic, yeah, it's starting to turn into a bit of a Somalia, only more north and nothing's dissolved into faction-led anarchy.
  20. It's in the book "A Thinker's Guide to God", I believe. Although I can't say I'm sure, it was a long time ago. Makes sense though, eh? Hebrews came out of Egypt, and now the three primary monotheistic religions worship a God that lives above us, or in Heaven (which is referenced as "up" in both the Bible and the Torah, and probably the Koran). u do realize that judaism was created generations before any jew went to egypt? let's count...abraham,issac,jacob, and then joseph was the 1st one to enter egypt. abraham and issac were dead by the time. and jacob went when he was near death to visit joseph, who had become a higher up in egypt's gov. eventually, pharoh saw how the jews were multiplying and became worried that if egypt were to be attacked, that they would side with the attacker, hence making them slaves. judaism does not believe G-d resides in the heavens, that's christianity. we believe G-d is incorporal (without body or shape). My apologies, I forgot that. And the Judaistic belief that speaking His name in vain is, well, bad. I wasn't trying to start anything by it, it's just a fact. Being led out of Egypt by Moses, Judaism was much more spread than when the first few Israelites entered Egypt, according to the Old Testament. Plus, geographically, Israel and Egypt would have been obvious trade partners. On another note, what is the Judaistic belief on Abraham's near-sacrifice of Isaac? I know my personal belief wasn't that God was testing Abraham, yet that Abraham was testing God, to see if this God was truly worth worship. Abraham lived in a time of many false gods and goddesses, and he couldn't have just any for his lineage.
  21. I have trouble sleeping with the closet door open or any sort of light in the room. I used to specifically place a pillow to block my sight of my alarm clock. :P Yeah, I can't have noise or light period. I can handle it if there are other people around, but I Can't otherwise. Mainly my paranoia of someone breaking in and me not being able to get my rifle ready.
  22. I'm probably the only 14-year-old who knows this. -_-
  23. They're just watching over the aid trucks I'm sure. Like the beginning in Somalia. [cabbage], hope it doesn't end up Black Hawk Down style.
  24. I don't even know who that is, but I'm first to call a conspiracy! OH NOES. That's awful about the church though, first I'd heard about it.
