  1. I can often be a self-deprecating [wagon], but it can make others feel better about themselves. So, what I would do is: force her to break up with you by acting like a complete dip[cabbage]. That way, she isn't all hurt by you (until she finds out you acted differently to get her to break up with you) and you can be single again. It's like those wacky sitcoms! Or, you can be a man and just end it. I like the first option more. Remember: The ideal boyfriend is someone who is proficient in listening, communication, and compromise. Be proficient in none of these things. Studies have shown the best way to feign interest in what a chick is saying is to silently nod your head to "My Sharona."
  2. That's ... Weird. But you can go to a free clinic or, just next time you're at the doctor, ask if they can test you. Just tell your parents you don't want them to go in the exam room with you.

We traded our Lexus GX something (God I hated that car, we've had older Lexuses that were the best cars we've had - my brother's had his '01 IS for five years without a problem) for a Ford F-250 Lariat. We're starting a concrete curbing business, so we needed a truck anyways. It's friggin cool. Our family's never been huge on trucks, but there's still something about being able to smash everyone else on the street.
  4. I'm still waiting to be accepted to Gilt. I applied at the beginning of last week. Hopefully it ends up well, I heard it's one of the most vicious online shopping experiences there are.
  5. Oh, okay. I was about to say - if North Korea had done something like that, causing such damage to the US (and attacking practically in our territorial waters), I would be amazed that we weren't at war yet.
  6. The army'll take 'em. The army'll take anyone. But there's a lot more running and dying. And if they joined the Marines, they'd get their [wagon] kicked into shape... Air Force gets to be as picky as they want. The Navy doesn't even give a [bleep]. They're just happy someone wants to be their friend. But nobody cares about the Coast Guard or National Guard ... I've started being far healthier. Don't drink soda, don't eat nasty-[wagon] food. The only time it's tough is at lunch, because I cook everything at home. I just need to think of some things I can bring to school to eat. Next year I can come home and eat good food, but now I have to be particularly selective of the gross food around my school. And the school itself is probably the worst of all. Blargh. And you guys should remember, being underweight is just as bad and carries just as many risks as being overweight. It's not very attractive, either.

Most of these things sound exactly like what people called "shy" back when you were 7 years old. There are certainly still shy people at our age. Some of those things do sound intriguing, but more obsessive than antisocial. Like I'm particularly fastidious - and it borders on ridiculous - with some things, yet completely haphazard with others. Although the combination of it all has to have a name, certainly. Like Blackdawn's post: there are plenty of people like that, and I certainly wouldn't consider it a disease. Most personality disorders are just names for how people act - and, like I said, in many cases a way for people to stay on meds. Blackdawn just sounds very stubborn about maintaining a state of life without change. This can pose problems later, but it isn't like he won't be able to overcome them similarly to others. Calling things like that a disorder or a disease is silly to me. A disease is something that hurts you, whereas this sounds more like it just slows you down a bit. I have a bunch of lung scarring from several bouts with pneumonia, and used to have an inhaler because they thought it was a minor case of asthma, but I just worked through it and now it only bothers me when I'm playing my harmonica for a while. Similar, only mine's a physical setback whereas Asperger's is mostly a psychological setback. Now, I'm just gathering from their descriptions. Don't blame me because there are kids elsewhere who can barely function. In my opinion, modern American medicine is far too prescription-happy. We have so many different medicines that doctors are just ready to get them out there. I've always followed traditional "healing" methods. Cold? Have some soup. Allergies? Get out and do some yard work. It sucks so hard when you're doing it, but you feel so much better afterwards it's completely worth it. Whatevs.
  8. Some people look better with long hair. Fact. Lent, if you're looking at medium brown, you won't find what you like. Cognac is where it's at. But it's a pain to take care of. That is absolutely perfect. Thank you.

It seems like you can't throw a rock without hitting ten kids on meds for ADHD, so I hold no belief in that "disease" - it's an excuse to act like a [bleep]tard. I don't know any bipolar people and hardly know what that entails. And read: half.
  10. ref: http://www.whatdoesi...m/index1367.htm I thought it was a BP oil rig? Or were there two rigs, this one attacked and the other just leaking?

Half of the time I place no faith in these psychological disorders, because it usually seems like half of them are created for parents to have an excuse to stuff their kids full of pills instead of managing them. But, I'm sure there are cases that actually matter and cause trouble for folks. Never affected me, never known anyone with it.
  12. Yeah, it's red. I have a few pairs that I particularly like that are almost crimson in color - oxblood shades vary extremely. Littleboy, short hair. You can go much, much shorter also - it would really look better, too. Your face is a good shape for it.
  13. Confession: I'll murder you if you don't tell me what they said. metaphorliterically
  14. You can either buy one (or in the future another) watch that will last you a lifetime and cost a tremendous amount, and carry all the status and such that a watch provides - or, the route I appear to be taking by accident, have numerous quality yet inexpensive watches. If there's no flashy labeling or features, nobody will really notice apart from true watch snobs. I like both of those. I want oxblood oxfords. With the recent trend of the bold wearing brown shoes more often, can one pull off oxbloods? I find them more interesting to look at than most brown shoes anyways; a lot of browns are too dark and dull.
  15. You need a credit card or bank account to set up PayPal. It's far, far easier to use a credit card for online purchases, and 9 out of 10 times it's safe.
  16. Really just looks like everything everyone else wears. Won't get you noticed, in a good way or bad way. Dark jeans are good, but I'm not big on actual black jeans. Think indigo. A good watch would be nice, too, but you're only 17, so not a huge deal. A bracelet's okay, if it's got a good story.
  17. This is why I'm proud of what my brother-in-law does for Exxon. He alone has already designed three complete projects for renewable energy in a year.
  18. I would start an argument with them about something, and go as sexist as you can. Either something along the lines of "Shut up, you have ovaries" or "Shouldn't you take your conversation to the kitchen?" It'll leave 'em speechless, that's for sure. Try not to get slapped. Add Aussie colloquialisms as necessary.
  19. I consider myself a good wingman, although I prefer to take the lead (and have to) with most of my friends. I use the large penis thing a lot, because, [bleep] it, high school girls usually both go into a fit of giggling and become curious when you say that - even if it's just to find out if you're really just ever so funny. A lot of my friends are too into having serious relationships, too, which makes having a wingman boring.

I'm not sure. People say I'm mature, although I laugh at sex jokes and play tag and that sort of thing. Although I do know when to be serious, and when people think you should be serious but it's better not to be. I sort of create my own rules based on those society has established. All in all, I find maturity to be more a vessel for some to feel better than others - the same as such imaginary concepts as being "civilized." I would rather use other reasons to be pretentious based upon my own merits than others' faults. Perhaps that's maturity - judging others against yourself, rather than against created ideals.
  21. They changed their military plan.
  22. I try not to be a snob or anything about it, but I can't stand when people just don't make any effort. Because as people, we're made from the outside in. We're subtly molded by others' opinions and beliefs. Plus, far too many people think they're happy just because they can live their lives quietly, without attracting attention that might take them out of their comfort zone. Having others accept us is so important to us as humans. It's mad crazy, but it's generally out of a person's reach to change the game - it's far better to use the game to your advantage.
  23. Haha, what's up with you and puns today?
  24. Haha yank yourself out of it. I pump on music and do some hard work. Or a workout. Hell, running is fine if that's all you have. But right now, I'm tearing out some concrete in our backyard (shovel and sledgehammer) and putting up our fence (solo dolo [bleep]es), and I haven't been happier in a long time. Endorphins, right? I just call it being a badass, but whatevs m8s. God, when did I start saying that?
  25. Not difficult at all to work around that. Just try not to scratch her with them. At least it'll give your tongue more practice.
