The way of being human
I don't see how it's a bad thing to be self-serving. Are there really other options ... ?

Arrogance is a better word. But I don't really care. Good advice or whatever, I don't need to use it thankfully.

Questions about humanity.
You have a real problem with evolution, don't you? Adaptation to the environment and "survival of the fittest" (although it's a misleading term) are perfectly reasonable and logical. How on earth you get "infantile" and "clinging to religion" out of this is beyond me. Just current beliefs on evolution - because so many people stick with pure darwinism as though it's the end-all of evolution. It isn't. Sociobiology is a good popular idea for me, although how I see it myself is (of course) different. I also don't care if they're reasonable and logical. I've never been one for Enlightenment-era rationalism. To explain infantile, well, our beliefs in evolution are quite young and ever-changing. Darwin would not recognize a group that studies evolution these days. Religious? So many act as though there's some goal in evolution, some sort of end to it. This to me sounds like the religious hope for an afterlife. I'm just ready for a tail.

That's wierd. On celcius, it's kind of just right there. In Fahrenheit it might be a little harder since it's not a major number or anything, but still, that's wierd.

Questions about humanity.
I can answer this by saying: our ideas of evolution are completely infantile and too clinging to religion, following these ridiculous ideas of "Survival of the fittest" and "Best suited for the environment". Those are part of the equation. But then comes a mother-[bleep]ing platypus that goes and feeds its egg-born children after killing an antelope or whatever. Good enough answer for me.

I've been on such a hot streak lately! My life has suddenly become centered around performing, as well. That will be all.

I change my views every single day, though. So there's that. Plus, most of my ideas make no sense whatsoever. Lucky me!

Right now we need some nationalism to get [cabbage] done. More isolationism, but you can't really have one without the other. But seriously, some [cabbage] needs to go down. Mainly looking at our infrastructure - it's kind of not great. Just thought I'd change the subject. Looks like it worked!

The way of being human
is the goal of evolution not to make the species in question best suited to it's environment? Not at all. Evolution's goal is to evolve. Change without reason. Completely illogical and unreasonable - almost religious. Which is why I totally understand some people's clutching to evolution as a sort of dogma. Although when they don't realize this, I am curious.

Evolution is not goal oriented. Evolution is "[bleep] YOU I'M A FOUR YEAR OLD WITH A CRAYON" Paraphrased.

Speaking of which, can someone go grab a bottle of ketchup from their fridge and list me the ingredients? Food, Inc. (brilliant movie) claimed it was made with corn as a substitute for tomatoes. Small store brands might, but larger brands such as Heinz use tomatoes. Ketchup is really just tomato sauce and vinegar.

You put that very well, rpg. Observation of the "popular" people will send you far in school. Speaking of high school: two girls I know (and both I'm quite attracted to, one I've been out with) are very mad at each other and want to fight. They're both very mean when it comes down to other girls, so it would be a little scary to watch. I pretend they're fighting over me, even though I know it's some stupid teenage girl drama [cabbage]. It's a good thing.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
Everyone was talking about pants. I started talking about pants. But I wear slacks a lot. I do semi-casual a lot (would semi-formal be better? eh..). I just don't like jeans that much. I still wear them, I just don't like them. I feel like they don't fit as well, either.

Yeah, every special forces branch kicks [wagon]. I just meant that being a SEAL isn't unachievable if you work harder than many people in the world. Marine Force Recon and SEALS actually take very similar training, MFR has to learn more strategic stuff though because they've been dropped off for campaigns behind lines that last for months with no resupply. Pretty crazy. Good luck to you, all the same.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
The only beef I have with jeans is that the pockets suck. I like to keep things in my pockets, and when need be, take them out. Jeans do not allow this. Jeans say "[bleep] your phone, you can stand up to take it out of your pocket." Slacks say "Here, we're made of the most beautiful fabrics ever which feels absolutely great all over. We also fit well and look amazing! Would you like a sandwich with your great pocket room?"

How do YOU dress?
We have a few decent department stores, but they actually have higher prices and lower quality than some of the stores like American Eagle and such. I need some brown sneakers for when I'm dressed relatively casually ... Maybe a nice belt, too. Those are purchases I will need for spring.

How do YOU dress?
I wish I could go somewhere with nice stores for my shopping. Maybe this summer I'll go stay with my brother for a while and get some clothes at one of the fancier malls there.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
How would you perceive a lone person whos friendly with everyone? Depends on whether he's merely polite or the center of the fun. There's a big difference. Also, it depends on whether you enter alone and leave alone (or without getting phone numbers, business cards, just making friends) or if you take the party with you.

Being a SEAL isn't really that rare. They're too romanticized in public belief. Although they are incredibly badass. If I were to pursue a military career (I'd thought I did at one time, but other things have convinced me that that's a terrible idea), I'd shoot for Marine Force Recon. 9-man squads that have been known to hold back armies.
