I learned Ian McDonald (of King Crimson) is part of Foreigner. Never woulda thought. Two of the pimpinest groups ever, UNITED AS OOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEE. Anyways, I had school today. Pretty lame. Tomorrow will be worse, though. Chemistry, English, and Spanish. Blugh.
  2. Meh. I was thinking about that eating popcorn. All about the money. Although to be honest, a lot of the crappy corn that isn't good-looking enough to be sold on the cob is sold to popcorn companies. Food still tastes pretty good to me, though. Especially nutter butters. Mmmmmm.
  3. The wealthier rate seems very high. I mean, sure they can afford it, but isn't 1/3 of your income a little high for taxes? I mean, I know after everything it probably won't be that much, but still. I want to be rich some day. I don't want all my money to leave me.I don't even plan on being one of those famous people that throws money at everything hoping it'll get me on Us Weekly. I just wanna be the next Tarantino and give everyone and everything one giant finger. Ah well, I'm 15. I'm gonna go play videogames.
  4. I just wanted to tell the story of a guy I want to high-five so bad it hurts. This is corny as [cabbage], but I hope he can keep up - he started with too massive of an explosion. He's a rich kid from the private school here that's dating a (rich) girl that's in a couple of my classes. Now this girl's good looking, putting that out of the way now. This guy's probably older, but apparently his parents own some land (good ranch land, but they don't do anything with it. Apparently it's all for getting their son laid). So he took her out there, and they got on a couple four-wheelers and drove out to the one hill within 200 miles of Lubbock. Apparently the girl told him she didn't know how to dance, so he'd brought a boombox and taught her how. I thought it was pretty cool. I have a feeling the whole thing will fall apart, though. Explode in a shower of The Notebook-esque romanticism in the beginning, there's no way you can keep up with expectations.

I learned Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin and Alan Tudyk are doing voice work in the new Halo game. I really want it now.
  6. If I were to have a real relationship with a girl, she'd have to be adventurous and have a good since of humor. Have to be a little daring, you know? Being distinctly unlike anything remotely related to Lubbock is also a major plus, because I'm leaving as soon as I can. If she has tons of family here, that would be bad. But, not like it would matter. A real relationship for me would pretty much consist of at least two months, which is nothing to some people. I just can't stand being with the same person for such a long time.
  7. Band of Horses, mos def. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=to_dIQOPNwk And Modest Mouse could be called chillout, I guess.

Omar... I'm your father. Teehee! I enjoyed some videogames today. I still have to read another 15 pages of A Tale of Two Cities, and highlight stuff in 123 pages. [bleep]ens was an [wagon]. So complex. Did people in the Victorian really require a paragraph to say they don't have much of an imagination?
  9. Well it's true. If rabbits had thumbs, we'd lose.
  10. Too bad we don't [bleep] like rabbits, or else we'd never survive! OH WAIT THAT'S THE ONLY REASON WE'RE REALLY ALIVE. That's something right off of cracked. Our species' survival is directly linked to our love of boinking. We really would survive, though. I mean, there are almost 6 billion of us. Think of some majestic, rock and roll animals. How about bears? A lot of polar bears are still ali- oh. Panda be- wait. Grizzly be- dammit. At least it isn't like we have to protect whales or someth - [cabbage]!
  11. I already see a 17-incher. Haven't been in a fight for years. Only one I can really remember was rolling around hitting some kid. And that's what any fight is, unless you're in a Bruce Lee movie. Rolling around wrestling or boxing, which usually turns into wrestling. I guess my e-pen is small.
  12. I guess I should do a serious few. A legitimate income of 300,000 dollars a year, divided up between bi-weekly payments. I'd be plenty well-off, all the money I'd need really, but I can still work occasionally. Will help with my film aspirations as well. I guess I could own a building or something? A Tempurpedic mattress that can be rolled up to the size of a water bottle. That would be useful. Oh, sheets, pillow and sleeping bag are included. I want to always smell pleasant (breath and body odor) and have strong white teeth and awesome fluffy hair... I'd still have to shower of course, but I'd never smell bad. Super cool.

Nah, I just spent a lot of time in that class with my friends last year. The teacher was almost always gone. I don't remember why I went there, though. Had some fun times all the same.

All of the Spanish teachers at my school are at least very closely related to Mexico, my teacher last year was born in Costa Rica, but my teacher this year was born in El Paso about a year after her parents immigrated (legally). I'm not sure about the other teachers. Of course, none of my English teachers were born in England. And the Latin teacher certainly wasn't born in Latinia. Sometimes I feel like I should go to bed to keep from talking. It gets me in trouble.

I want to buy some books. Namely, ones on home brewing and filmmaking. But I have to read A Tale of Two Cities, and I suck at reading two different things at once. Gah. [bleep] IT I'M BUYING THEM next week though. Going to cool places with my brother in Dallas next weekend, plus the books I want are only about 20 dollars together. I want this and this for home brewing. Gah, where's Quoi? He could tell me which. For filmmaking, I want one, two, three. Okay so more than twenty dollars for all of them. And that is a lot of reading. But I want them all nonetheless. WAHAHA READING. I have about a hundred and sixty bucks that aren't being saved for anything in particular. So why not spend it on making myself cool as [cabbage]?
  16. If you like computers a lot, do something with computer science. Bidness is booming there. A minor or something in business could help you out should you want to open up your own IT business or something (although it would be mighty difficult). Medical, well, you are starting young, but are you sure you can handle another eight years of school? Very hard school at that. You probably shouldn't expect to have any fun for about 12 years if you want to be a doctor. All that school, plus internships and all that ... That scholarship is interesting. I'd have to go to college when I was 16. You couldn't do anything, it'd be so hard to make friends. I mean, you could barely drive around to see them. But, to each his own, you know? For my two cents, I intend to go to the Radio-Television-Film part of University of Texas' College of Communications. Or, if I get some sort of scholarship to another school, maybe I'll just do some communications and go to a dedicated film school after that. Who knows, I'm only a sophomore.

Yeah, it probably is cool. But it looks like it hurts like a [bleep], all the same. I'm contemplating buying a cheap little camcorder and making little films. I also considered saving for a better camera, as in one in the 4000-dollar range, but I think I'll wait for my video tech class to play out to do that. I do want to make some sort of film before I go to college. I don't expect it to be good, but adding anything to a portfolio can be helpful. Maybe I should consider a script that could actually be applicable to Lubbock... Whatever. Maybe sometime this year I'll buy one of those little Mino camcorders. Then again, we're learning how to use good cameras in video tech, so it might feel very inferior. Augh.

Bone marrow is scary. I don't know why you'd donate it, unless you know someone close to you with leukemia. It's a horrible process to get it out. But when you're getting something in your bones, out of your bones, well it can't really be good can it?
  19. You can't. A person who's never been in a relationship, especially, will consider someone who's been their "girlfriend/boyfriend" for a week (I've only called two girls my girlfriends, and both were after about two weeks of dating. I still felt wierd about it.) true love. And it will be totally lame. But, nothing you can do about it.
  20. Yeah, I think they sound cool. But, since the whole headphones thing... They just sound stupid through a stereo system. The Peyote one sounds like the CLASH OF THOOR
  21. These are old as [cabbage]. Me and some friends had a party in 7th grade with these, man. They're cool music, they would be awesome party beats. They did make me feel a little wierd, but it was more a sort of snapping back to reality occasionally. Nothing too major. I have friends that swear by them, and I'm sure it could totally work. In fact, I'm surprised it doesn't do anything major to me. Regular music changes me a lot depending on what I listen to. Anyways, I think they're pretty cool. I wish they worked on me, but, alas. I don't care enough to buy them (and I downloaded them once, but they were broken). The only one I really want to try is the lucid dream one (don't they have one?). I doubt they could work that much, in fact I doubt any of them work as hardcorely as the real thing. But, hey, who knows. Music is powerful.
  22. Well, I find them. It's happened to save me, too. An arrow will just stop by my side like a good dog. It's annoying. Kind of funny. But when I'm trying to stab people from a distance, it gets on your nerves.
  23. Do arrows like to get stuck in the air? Mine do that all the time in my game, and it really makes me ANGRY. I've used a dozen arrows without a hit before, aiming right at the guy - all because of invisible shields or something. Oh well. My balanced war scythe is pretty much a one-hit kill. I'm fighting off a massive Swadian army from one of my friends' castles with about 100 Rhodoks total. There are 900 Swadians, since it's their invading army. We've taken down about half of them. Then again, I'm like level 45 or something, and my army is full of top-rank troops. Good castle to defend, too. The rest of the Rhodoks ran off like little girls, though. Pissed me off so hard. Now three Rhodok lords are under siege from ONE Swadian - and they're crying like babies. Psssssssh.

You're required to take two years of foreign language (generally Spanish, my school has French and Latin as well though, and I'm sure wealthier schools have more) in high school here in Texas, so it isn't really an elective for us - probably like that in other states. At least I probably won't have to take anything near spanish in college since I'm taking 3 years instead of 2.

Pat Benatar was cool. Last night I hung out with some friends. We were out walking around during the night, and there was shooting pretty close by. A pistol and a shotgun, we figured. We ran back to my friend's house. I doubt it was more than a quarter mile from where we were. Not good. But last night was fun apart from that. We need more chicks in our group, though.
