Arcanes are back up to around 120-130M street but only because they got bought out again. They have already crashed multiple times while they were switching hands from clans so just wait before you buy. Spectrals are selling for 50% junk and cash so if you have the junk and want one badly(make sure it's unstable junk) then go for it and buy it. If not just wait it out.

First I dds dm'd this guy and used redemption and he ran off screaming "eater!!!". I'm like ok lets whip dm because we have no specials and he brews this time but I don't feel like running. He turns on redemption skulled with whip but I hit 14 for the k0. Well I didn't know he was too stupid to protect item with a whip skulled..... It totally ruined my EP 74%-17% but I'll take it and laugh in his face.

Law runes are more profitable AND more exp than cosmic runes, and they use relatively the same amount of time to craft via the abyss. That depends whether your main obsticle to get past into the 2nd ring of the abyss is mining or not.

Which is why I have been advocating removal of the marketplace forums on the RSOF since the GE came out. I saw that this kind of merchanting would occur, but Jagex are too dimwitted to see that. Hell, they were too dimwitted to even see that FLOODING THE MARKET WITH GP CAUSES INFLATION! :wall: Removing the marketplace forums will not stop merchants, but it will make their jobs much more difficult. I find the marketplace forums extremely useful and after awhile you know who is out there to manipulate and who is serious.

It's really only good against special attacks which place multiple hits on you at once. I was fighting a guy who used a dds spec on me earlier... he hit a 17 on me. Not a 17-0, just a plain 17 haha. Though, it's still very easy to get KO'd by normal whip/GS hits since they're "normal" Ooo I guess it doesn't show the 2nd hit. Do you know if it counts the damage or is the 2nd hit totally negated?

It's mainly used by EP farmers and skills :P or getting ep.the most common weapon for killing ep'ers is claws. Pretty tough to kill EPers these days, most have a spear and a ring of life so even if they were afk they have a good chance of being in edgeville with poison cured and if they weren't afk then they hear/see the spear hit quickpray with melee+pro item, die and lose almost nothing.

that's why I keep 2-3 extras in my bag, lol the phoenix necklace literally nerfs special attacks... I had 13hp and had a friend dark bow spec me w/ drag arrows (minimum hit of 8-8)... it hit 8-0 and restored me to 34hp had another friend use a claw spec on me when I had 15hp... the ordinary minimum hit of a claw spec is 0-1. he hit a plain 0, and I went up to 44hp I'd always used them while PK'ing the past cuz I knew they were useful, but never THAT useful. I was wondering if they made you 100% to being killed, period. I bought 1k necklaces and went out pk'ing with a full inventory of them... sadly, I was wrong :P nevertheless, they do increase your chance of enduring attacks like dark bow and drag claw specs SIGNIFICANTLY I thought the Dark Bow spec couldn't miss? That's actually a great idea, but you're completely relying on the second spec not hitting too high. So it isn't 100%, but it's nice coverage. Unless...it heals you in the middle of the spec? I suppose Redemption prayer can help as well? Dark bow minimum is 8-8 with d arrows and 5-5 with other arrows. Not sure why it negated the last special but I never realy test it. The necklaces heal you when you hit under 20% HP so combined with ring of life it's very hard to get two specialed.

Just start slayer right away and if you want balanced stats just use whip/d scim until all your melee stats are the same then stick with whip on controled. Just make sure to use the right slayer master for your CB level and try out different masters but of course duradel at 110+.

Actually someone 110+ tends to make more money per hour than someone 80+. Not idea why I guess Jagex feels higher CB=more risk=better chance at drops.

Ahh yes but she's a Community Management mod and does the events making her a very well known mod, so if she left she'd be missed just like when mod raven left she was missed by rsof. Now if someone like Mod AlexM left noone would notice or care unless you knew him.

It has changed a lot since I started, but it remains to be a fun place to blow some spare time. Sure things become easier but most of the time they don't take out the old ways. You can still do the old ways like abyss runecrafting rather than graahk if you wish and that way you can feel accomplished. The best thing about Runescape is your ability to choose what you want to do whether it is sit in edgeville and chat or grind for days on end. The biggest change I've seen in the mentality of the players from having fun and helping a fellow noob to getting that 99 and ignoring everyone who will slow you down. I sure do miss the old days back in 04-05 when you would walk around, talk to some stranger, and then he might become your best friend. Now it's 'go away noob I'm training'. O well I guess the new players know alot more with tutors and don't have to chat with players to know what to do. Seems like Jagex wants less and less player interaction. :|
