  3. I'm getting it, just for the sake of the improvements because I have noticed that my computer could be better in some areas which Apple have worked on.

I just remembered seeing that render; alas, it did have fringing before you found it lemeja.
  5. And you should be quiet  Don't be so clever :|
  6. Firefox 3.5 Beta 4 has the ability to do that.
  7. I hear it's being released in September, and I'm planning to upgrade. I know that Snow Leopard is 64 bit, and I'm not sure if my computer has the ability to handle a 64 bit OS. Specs: Version 10.5.7 iMac G8 24 inch display 2.8 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GB DDR2 SDRAM Memory ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro If there's anything else you need specs-wise, just ask.
  8. -Anime: I just can't comprehend why people like it; though, I do love the art, and fan art that some people produce  -Smoking: It's just a horrible, dirty habit that I see people wasting their money, and lives on. -Drinking heavily: It's just incredibly stupid, and I've seen well the effects of too much alchohol, and the effects it has on your body.
  9. What version of Windows are you on?

    1) The render is fringed - when you find a render don;t just copy it on it's page with the background, click on it for full size, save it, then open with photoshop 2) Over-saturated background - The background is a VERY fundamental part of the signature - I know you probably haven't, but in all honesty the background looks incredibly rushed. Yes, blue and orange are complimentary colours, but not when they are over-saturated :P 3) Composition - there is no depth here. The position of the render is boring, placing it on the left or right of the signature will make it look more dynamic. You are getting the hang of it, though you still have much to learn. I would reccomend looking at some PSD files - you can download some of my PSD's on the Tip.It Graphics Resource sticky at the top of this forum. If no-one has not suggested this yet, I would recommend checking out signature tutorials on deviantART: http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&secti ... e+tutorial

Today I woke up around 7 am, had breakfast but was annoyed because my brother had stolen the last of the milk. I then showered, like I do everyday. Got out, dried myself and got dressed. Got my bike out the garage, left at 8:20 for school. Did some random lessons, my favorite being food technology, where I learned how to make chelsea buns. Also did a end of year English assessment. School ended, got on my bike and rode home. Got here and turned on my iMac, ready to carry on with my digipainting I started yesterday. Completed the human form on that and awaiting the requester to reply with the background he wants. Then I found this topic and clicked post reply, and wrote what you see  That's my day for today.
  13. Both sides. The west for sticking it's nose in everything, the east for being a bit acid tounged about things, over-reacting and just generally helping to encourage the conflict.* *I suppose that both sides have help add fuel to the flame, though.

update: Do you still want lightning in the background?
  15. make sure you change your password and stuff.

I could try that, though it'd probably be with stock photos. BTW, I will re-size to sigsize, I just find working on a large canvas easier.

here's some progress: I'm very new to doing tablet work, so it's a little crude, but not rushed, I like this style :D Not sure about doing a background though :|

It's not likely, but I MAY consider trying something with my tablet, but only if I have time, since I'm studying for exams.

Felix, it looks very childish, and like Connor said, where is the rule which states no double requests; yes, it might not be very etiquette-ical, but there is not a rule which states what you claim.

I think the piece would be greatly improved if you used a wireframe that isn't so emphasised, because it feels like it stealing the focal. The colours need a little work too.
  21. Killerwatt, PLEASE do some requests as I really hate having to do all of them.
  22. Great PSDTUTS result  It's nice, but sorry, if you are going to try a tutorial, apply your own elements as well, as this looks exactly like the original piece produced for that tutorial.
  23. It's 100x100 already, and only 13kb. Just use it ;)
  24. Ok ;) That sort of stuff is made mostly by employed web developers, so you'll help add to your companies reputation, if you have a nice looking website.
  25. For the screen, I reccomend you try this - it's 22 inches wide, and only £120, which is a great price IMO
