dat straw hat xD I know you can't really do HDR now, but you can get the same sort of effect in PS - go to image > adjustments > hdr toning and play around. I'm not sure if it's CS5 only.

I can't help but feel the the box looks a tad fake looking, where the wood joins together. I love the lighting though. It's great to have a skilled 3D artist on Tip.it.

That's a lovely shot - this sort of shot would look fantastic in HDR.

While BMP may be 'lossless' it is unnecessary to use on the internet - people won't know the difference if you don't tell them it's a bmp.

It's absolutely fine for most photography, if anything BMP is terrible for photography.

First of all, RESIZE - as you are using PS CS5 it's easy - image > image size, then just enter desired values - 400 x 600 is normally best for web. The image isn't showing up for me right so I can't really say much. 100% quality .jpg is normally best for web usage. PNG is good if you really want to showcase high quality shots because it is able to reproduce 16 bit shots (wider range of colors). imgur is a good image sharing service.
