Oh god I text during school a lot. Really doesn't affect my learning, because I can still get what's going on in the class. Just makes the time pass faster. My school's teachers are supposed to confiscate all phones/mp3 players, but it never happens in some classes. Those are the classes where people run the cords of their headphones through their sweatshirt and listen to music/watch movies during class. Like one time, this kid was watching superbad and just busted out laughing while a teacher was on a tangent about the holocaust.

Oh god I remember so many people having trouble with the assignments in computer classes, when the whole assignment was to open word and type what they had typed. I spent most of that class making an animation slideshow thing in powerpoint... got to like, 2,000 slides on it. Pretty amazing for 18 total weeks.

Well without using the GE, your best bets are mining rune (which you can't do,) mining gold, cutting yews, and fishing swordfish/lobsters. Other than that, you're really out of luck.

Dating in elementary school or middle school really just isn't worth it. I remember those days... People made like a huge deal out of kissing someone, people who were "going out" wouldn't even go out on dates together.... Just wait until high school.

Quests. Do a lot of quests. Give all the members skills a try, explore new areas and training methods, and just have fun with it. There are so many different things to do that if you just do one or two, you'll miss out on a large part of the game. GIve different things a try, find a skill or training method or quest line you really like, and do it!

Cook Swordfish. That will add some speed. And make sure you're cooking at either the range in the cooking guild or rouges den with the banker right next to the fire, so you can cook that much faster. Then at 90, switch to monkfish and at 94 do sharks.

Since I'm currently f2p, I was wondering how I should go about training magic. I know the two most popular methods are alching and cursing. But is there another method that would be faster? And what should I alch, or what monster should I curse? Money really isn't an issue, ZI have 25m cash I'm willing to pump into the skill and I can make money to use on training. The only foreign language I take in school is Latin. Not because it's particularly useful, but I like the class. But on my trip to Europe this summer, I learned more French during my 3 days in Paris than I did in my mandatory 9 weeks of French (school makes you take 9 weeks of each language, then you choose one to take the next year.) So the best way to learn is simply by conversing with someone who speaks the language, not sitting through a class.
