I'm pretty sure half the redditors here posted on that thread. Discovered the awesomeness that is hacked pokemon ROMs. Been leaving my phone on charge all day to combat with the insane battery drain I've been putting on it. Flereon now can learn good moves without you requiring to use a transform glitch.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Urgh, that went terribly. It was like somehow she knew that something was up, and I got backed into a corner until I came clean, unfortunately over text. I had to go through the whole thing during the first half of my science maths class. I felt so bad about doing it that way that it took all my strength to not break down in the classroom. I immediately told her friend, who was thankfully mature about it. I've been trying all day to tell her to not come over, as she was meant to help me do something for my dad, but she's refusing to listen. She's really trying to make sure I know that she still loves me, and how she can change. I can get the thing done without her, and I'd prefer it since otherwise it's going to be awkward, but she just won't listen to me.

Yeah, basically once she hit 18 she acted like nobody should be able to tell her what to do. I love her and all, but undeserved aggression is never deserved.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
Been a while since I've been here, and I've come seeking advice. Just a little pre-text for people who don't stalk me, I'm 20 and generally considered very emotionally detached and competitive. My girlfriend is 18 and very dependant on me, doesn't really have any friends apart from who I hang out with when she's around. She also gets extremely aggressive, especially when driving or when people ask her to do something. Recently I've been getting really irritated with my girlfriend's dependency on me. I've tried talking with her about it, but it either ends up back to square one after a few days or weeks, or I get yelled at. After work all she wants to do is come over because of something like she's had a hard day, she's stressed out, or because she really misses me, but all she does is take over my bed and just sleep. So it just inconveniences me just so for those 30 seconds before she falls asleep she knows that I'm near her. I still live at home (medical reasons cost me my job so the money I saved up to move out with went to whatever expenses I have,) so it's not like when I go to bed I hop in with her. She also sends me a text or tells me every few weeks that I'm the best thing to ever happen to her, and that she doesn't know what she'd do without me. This is something that I'm not ok with, because it is both kind of creepy and makes me feel like I have a duty to make sure I never do anything that could cause the relationship to end, e.g. die or break up with her. Her anger issues are also very terrifying, because she is an aggressive driver and has major road rage issues. If someone pisses her off she'll actively drive dangerously to make them back off or scare them. She also does things that scare me, like break suddenly, and very late, along with tailgate, all things she goes off at other drivers for doing. Something in the back of me tells me she's not worth it, but she's about the only thing I am emotionally attached to, and I feel like it's a bit of an extreme action to do. What do you guys think? Keep that accent you'll have, and you'll find that wherever you go to, having a different accent makes you mysterious and extremely attractive to women.

I'm guessing the guy lived? Thankfully, yes. Your face is boring as shit. Seriously though what was the lecture about? Logic. Which is very different to how I see it. Logic is basing facts off of what you get told. There was a pretest, which I seem to go about as well as the people actually doing the class. Which is sad.

Today...
Today has been eventful. Firstly I had to call 000 (emergency number in Australia) because a guy was choking to death, only thing coming out of his mouth was blood and slight amount of vomit. Had to give my info to security for an incident report, turns out the guy knows my dad, back when they were racing horses. In the afternoon I went with my friend and took her 2 hour philosophy lecture and nobody even suspected that I wasn't in the class. Philosophy is boring as shit.

Does revenge lead to regret?
When I was in year 10 at school this year 7 (or 8) kid was always being a dick towards me, and generally annoying me. In response to what did you do it? Punched him very hard in the temple. I think I gave him a mild concussion, he also complained for like 2 weeks of migraines and headaches. How? Walked up to him and punched him When? Few years ago. Do/did you regret it? Nope. The guy was a dick. When did the guilt kick in? N/A In any case, on a scale of one to ten, ten being very hurtful and one being not hurtful at all, how would you rate the injury and the revenge? Did the person with whom you evened things out reciprocate? He tried punching me a few times, but I just blocked them. He just left me alone after that.

Mine hasn't even been sent off yet. The downside of getting to use my parents' company accountant is that everyone in the house who is over 18 is part of the trust, so there's all this extra bullshit we have to go through before it can be lodged. Really need the money so I can afford to move out, don't want my friend to get sick of waiting and rent out to someone else.

Aww yeah, awesome day at uni. Managed to get slightly drunk at one of the bars as my friends kept buying me drinks, so physics was pretty awesome. It also happened to be autonomy day today, so the bar was packed inside and outside, and there was probably about 20 cops in the bar, and another 50 or so on campus. They were doing a terrible job though, it reeked of pot outside, and there were several goonsacks smuggled in and thrown around.

We have a Subway, some health food place I forget the name of, a confectionery shop, cafeteria that sells the usual take-away hot foods, along with healthier meals that change every week-or-so, which is usually things like lasagne, indian food, rices, etc. Oh, and we have two bars on campus. Yes, there's 2 locations that you can go to get drunk on campus. The student alliance also does free breakfast every day, and often has free BBQs. I'll probably be getting breakfast there tomorrow since I have to get up at 6am and will have enough difficulty getting dressed without needing to make something to eat too.

What? Have there actually ever been instances of something like this? I didn't know there was actually such a thing as a 9gag army. The 9gag army is the call of duty of the military. Within their own circle they become the more well known and skilled at what they play, but the minute you drop them in a real firefight they get themselves shot. /b/ have raided 9gag several times, along with framing 9gag for their raids on a lot of sites. If memory serves me correctly, then they also managed to get 9gag to DDOS itself by making it think it was going to be DDOSing 4chan. [spoiler=Warning, link contains NSFW wording and hotlinks that may offend.]One such framing job.

I just checked the "Trending" page on 9gag. I had to look at 25 other posts before I found a rage comic. I don't get the hate towards 9gag really. It's pretty much equal to any other meme-humor website, but I've never heard anyone on this forum complain about those. There's some stupid posts but there's some funny mixed into it too. Although I find some of them funny, however, I can understand why some people dislike memes so much. i do hate it when people put 'le' before everything in a comic though. The 'le' shit is really stupid, but a large amount of the hate comes from the fact that the '9gag army' thinks it's so tough, posting about how hardcore it is, and then it takes 5 minutes for /b/ to get 9gag down on its knees begging for forgiveness. There's that and 99% of the shit they post most of the internet saw months ago, or is just plain unfunny.

Ouch - what happened? Also, Gore Vidal has died. Though he was old, it's one of those things you never really expect. Heart attack. He was one hell of an employee too, rarely took any time off, and he was the second most efficient driver, next to my dad. Mind you, there were some times where he could best my dad. Accumulated a substantial amount of holiday and sick leave too, $2200 worth, which now goes to his family.
