Today...
Guess I'm not as invincible as I thought I was. Was doing a fair amount of drinking at my cousin's 18th party last night, and today I've developed a headache after coming home, started mid afternoon, it's now 8pm. It's a feature eBay has had for a while, it allows you to select a maximum price and will keep making the minimum bid up when someone bids higher than you. Just sell it and get an AMD GFX card.

Go over their heads. An exam as serious as this shouldn't have only a single invigilator present. I hope all goes well. It's not beneficial for them to fire you, and a lot of religiously run organisations know they rely on the gays, atheists, etc. It's just so that they can pay you less by saying it's either that or they'll fire you and will not give a positive reference. I can't. Marriage is a contract between private parties; anyone who can sign a contract should not be kept from marrying anyone else who can sign a contract. Presumably, adoption agencies can choose to not deal with clients for any reason (or no reason at all), so I can't justify forcing them to do business with any specific class, but I don't understand a refusal to place with a gay couple any more than a refusal to place with a couple of a different race. Well, the argument I hear is that kids are better off with having a mom and a dad, because that's the "natural" way. I personally think it's BS and afaik, what research there is points to the contrary but I can understand that some people might think like that and thus want no adoption rights for gays to "protect the children". There's no link between sexual orientation of parents and how kids turn out.

Guys, I was wrong, I did get the marks I needed. I forgot to change my preferences since I thought I didn't get the marks, but hopefully I can do a Bachelor of Science this year! Try a backpacker hotel or something, they usually have a board with jobs for you to do for a few months, it's not steady work, but it's something. Also, good on you for deciding to start doing things that you want.

Damn today was hot. Aircon in my car broke, got heatstroke and sunburnt while driving, and I badly damaged the frenulum between my gums and upper lip jumping off a bridge into a river. All-in-all though, it was a fun day. Tim, just find heavy things around the house to lift. Sure, it's not going to give you the same workout as a gym, but it helps you apply strength to real-world situations, and will suffice as an adequate substitution in the interim.

Today...
I'm too nice to my friends, just realised I've gone through 2 tanks of fuel, solely from driving my friend around the past week. I would normally go through half of a tank in a week, if I have to drive for uni. Next Wednesday I'm spending a whole day driving him to the German consulate since he's getting a working visa so he can go over there for 6+ months. At least he's offered to pay for fuel for it. I've had it for a while, and I've sent a total of 2 tweets. I mainly use it for following certain people. Embrace the cold. Walk round in your tightie whities. Wow damn, that's really depressing. It'd be horrible to find out someone I knew was the target of a hit. They were actually after him?

Steam Winter Sale
What don't you like about Terraria? I'm a very avid fan of the game, and will definitely help people get the most from it. Basically the 'what the hell am I supposed to do here?' thing, the guide shows me how to see what raw materials can be crafted into what, but so far the only thing I could figure out was convert bronze coin into silver. I have no idea how the house, crafting works, or where I am even supposed to go/do. I hit a cliff pretty soon above ground, and digging deep ended up me being blind and drowned in a pool of water. Not exactly what you would call a good start. But I have open ears/eyes on where I should start etc. Also, as my last purchases, I bought KotOR I and II, ME 1 & 2, and Hearthfire and some Vertical scroller. I'll admit, it's a bit confusing at the start, which is why playing with friends early on is extremely helpful. With houses, you also need to add a wall to the back of it. While you can't use the preexisting dirt, if you use a hammer to remove it, you can place it back there as a wall. Here's a video by Hero for making a room for an NPC to live in, it also works for making your own room, but you only need a bed, no table or chair needed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Pij1fy_NMw Always have torches on you when you go exploring, the materials to make it (gel and wood) are really easy to obtain early game, and it'll keep you alive. For getting rid of water you need to dig out areas for the water to go, and then seal them off so the water gets trapped. Eventually you'll get very good at hiding water.

Steam Winter Sale
Endgame Terraria has so much more to offer. Hallowed armour, angel wings, megashark, hamdraxe, fairy bell, and magic mirror are just awesome.

Steam Winter Sale
Worst sale ever. I usually spend $100+ in the first 5 days of a Steam sale, and with this one I've spent like $20 in 15 days. The one game I really wanted (Scribblenauts) ended up being on sale for $7.50 on Amazon and I got my gf to buy me it for Christmas. I knew about the cheaper price on Amazon from when it was a daily deal on Steam thanks to an Amazon employee. There's benefits of using the same sites as store employees. Right after the end of the Summer sale my friend gave me that advice. My inventory has now 21 items in it. It'd be well over 150 if I had thought about that from the start. $1 if you wanted the Steam version. Although, you should at least try for the average, more if you can afford it. What don't you like about Terraria? I'm a very avid fan of the game, and will definitely help people get the most from it.

Heh, I should work as a security guard. I was in a store today, some idiot kid thought if he put a 2L bottle of chocolate milk down his pants he could walk out with it. The person at the counter thought he was trying something because she saw him put his shirt back down. He tried walking out so I stepped in his way and got aggressive like he was the one who walked into me. Must have scared him because he walked back and put the milk down. Kid got a lifetime ban and I got thanked.

I know nothing about Steam, is this normal?
If you get the Steam not responding issue when you start it, the fix is to open Steam, but do not touch your computer until it fully loads.

Saw a friend I haven't seen in years today. We ended up going to McDonalds as it was 11:30 at night on xmas eve and nowhere else was open. When we ordered our food, the voice of the person sounded like an 8 year old girl. When we got to the window to pay, it was a 14 year old boy. Who lets a 14 year old, that sounds like an even younger girl, work a midnight shift? The kid also kept messing up the order, and apologised a dozen times every time we correct him. Australian weather is bipolar. Today it has been hot and dry. This evening it decided to rain like a [bleep], and now it's even hotter than during the day, and it's humid.

It's annoying, a lot of my girlfriend's friends have been posting how well they went on facebook, and she keeps pestering me to check my results, and I have't gotten them yet. If I don't get the results I needed then it's a year of working before trying again. Exam results you mean? I'm sure you'll have done fine. I still have my final year to complete and exams to sit. To get university offers this early is good to show me what I'm actually aiming for, rather than what I've already got, which is a little bit below their requirements at the moment. So the story isn't finished yet. And then there's 4 years of a Biochemistry degree to do, so the road is going to be long, tiring and difficult. I didn't get the results I needed. 51% for Science Maths, 50% for Physics. Even with scaling up (I did a year long course in 6 months) I will be too low for my courses. Not too surprising considering a big number of the people doing it dropped out within the first month. Hell, a third of the people in the maths class were gone after the first test. YYYY-MM-DD would be the most logical choice, as it's perfect for chronological orders. Well, a second is based off of the oscillations of a Caesium 133 atom. I can't remember the exact number, but I think it is around 9 billion. Wow, that is the first valid argument for MM/DD. Although, year should then be at the front, as MM is a fraction of YYYY.

Sitting here drinking bourbon and coke, and I'm somehow bored. It's annoying, a lot of my girlfriend's friends have been posting how well they went on facebook, and she keeps pestering me to check my results, and I have't gotten them yet. If I don't get the results I needed then it's a year of working before trying again. Who was it that had a reaction image for everything?

[EoC Live] Barrows Guide (Pics and Vid)
With the hybrid bar you're wasting 2 slots that should be for your range and mage weapon. Just drag the weapons onto the bars and you can switch weapons easily.

In Australia, it's a touchscreen computer where they've gone and recorded hazardous situations, like busy intersections, cars pulling out of driveways, etc. and you have to decide when you want to go/stop by touching the screen. However, the software is buggy as shit and kept registering me as touching when I didn't, not touching when I did, and registering me touching a while before/after I did. When it wants to work it's a great way to test reaction speeds and how well a person is paying attention. Driving is giving you confidence, my friend.

What a weekend. 3 day lan party that kind of got ruined by a Steam sale and people burning out during the second day. Wow, you guys really don't know any Win key shortcuts? These are the ones I can remember. Win + P - Manage display options when you have 2 or more monitors connected. Win + E - Open up Windows Explorer/File Explorer. Win + <1-0> - Switch to windows based on their order in the taskbar. If items have been tabbed up, tapping on the same numeral key will cycle through the different instances/windows. Win + F- Search. Win + C - Control panel/Charms. Win + R - Run. Win + M - Minimise everything. Win + Shift + M - Undo minimise, both Win + M and Win + Shift + M can be replicated with just Win + D.

Feeling so terrible, and it's not caused by last nights drinking. Which would have ended with drunk tiffing had my phone not gone flat. I had the same problem today, my face is still burning up and I have felt shit all day, ever since I woke up. Sound advice. Same with pulling out the battery, which is part of why I will never buy a phone without a removable battery (running bleeding-edge software that has nearly left me with soft bricks several times is another reason.)
