Unless I'm misunderstanding you, you're implying that we wouldn't use up as much land for farming, because a lot of our nutritional needs would be met by taking supplements and vitamins? Correct me if I'm wrong, I'm god-awful tired haha. He's asking what you're going to do about the vitamins and minerals you don't get enough of? Supplements are also very unregulated at the moment.

Meat is HORRIBLE for the environment. Cows eat around 16 pounds of grain a day, that's a hella lot of grain to grow, just to make 80~ pounds of usable meat for you to eat. Shutting down cow/chicken/pig farming for only year would save more than enough grains and such to seriously affect world hunger. A cow will probably be killed at 3-5 years of growing, meaning 17,088-28,480 pounds of grain consumed, 22,789 pounds being the middle and assuming 100 pounds of meat, that's still 228 pounds of grain for a single pound of meat. All that grain needs space to grow, so they cut down habitats, letting out CO2 by killing trees. (also why I don't support ethanol, but that's a different topic) Yes, sorry that we don't consume that equivalent of an extra 228 pounds of grain per week (assuming you eat 1 pound of meat a week, which is probably a lot less than some of you). That one pound of meat is probably worth at least a month's worth of grain for a block of households. The problem with this argument is that it assumes that the grain eaten by animals is fit for human consumption (it's not,) and that the land used is fertile enough to grow crops (most of the time it's not.)

My, my, my. This has got to be my favourite update ever. The Black box is perfect for me and goes hand-in-hand with the Battalion's Backup. I've also got the hand of Your Eternal Reward and can chain-stab very efficiently now, however I find that it only goes well with the invisibility watch. Out of the new items I have; Black Box, Battalion's Backup, Degreaser, L'Etranger, Your Eternal Reward. I also now have a Vintage Triboniophorus Tyrannus and a Vintage Ushanka. I really want to get my hands on a Grenadier's Softcap and Familiar Fez.

As Jaziek has stated, he doesn't really play this game any more. If someone who played regularly were to make a new thread then they could keep everything up-to-date. Although, this is only if Jaziek would be ok with it.

I think we need to sort of 'change owner' by specifying who becomes the new thread owner and locking this one/letting it die. If Steam would hurry up and let me download the last 150MB, I could see if I like this update.

You guys have it lucky then Steam has a huge habit of; crashing, freezing when I try to start games, freezing just after I exit a game, not letting me update games, not letting me download games, not letting me install games, and not letting me play games. I have another friend who is just as annoyed as I am about those issues.

I'm saying they could stockpile it. It's not like they wake up one morning and say "I think I'll go on a shooting spree." These things are usually planned years or months in advanced. That gives the person ample time to purchase enough ammo, or to even have someone else purchase some for them. Maybe you shouldn't have a loaded gun in a visible spot. As Kriegsmier has stated, keep it unloaded. All but the most determined criminals would run when you audibly have the means to kill them.

So I am really disappointed. I was hoping for a rifleman position to be available as my backup plan in life is to become a sniper. Oh well, artilleryman looks pretty good but I may become a driver as artilleryman may not have the positions available.

Handguns make great self-defence weapons. The light weight of a handgun compared to a rifle makes it easier for you to pick one up and aim it at someone should the need arise. This I do agree with, they chew through too much ammunition and aren't effective at hunting unless you're trying to hunt the whole forest. However, in America atleast, you have a Bill of Rights not a Bill of Needs. As Kriegsmier has stated, shotguns make the best home defence weapon. They're also used for bird hunting and are becoming increasingly popular in deer hunting. What would that serve? A person could buy the max amount of ammunition and wait until he can purchase that amount again until he has the ammunition he needs. He could also have a friend or family member purchase it for him.

HL2:Ep3. Get your priorities right, we need a huge overhaul if the Steam client itself. I find it less stable than lithium.

Not at all, I could talk with 2-3 people and get my hands on a .45 handgun (at that calibre the handgun would be illegal here) with a suppressor (also illegal, even though a suppressor only makes a big gun sound like a smaller gun.) Alternatively I could get a crate of military weaponry off the back of an army truck.

Dogs get excited when their master returns from a long day of work. Is this emotion, or is it merely a biological response to an external stimuli? And if the latter, couldn't the same be argued for human beings? Actually it is being submissive, dogs have a pack mentality. These displays of affection you see are actually ways your dog shows respect to you as the dominant male or female of the pack.
