I've already noticed a HUGE increase in the amount of herbs I get compared to when I use a RoW. I've got lots of ranarrs, especially. This could be reasonable, and we should've expected it - grimy herbs are the worst drop you can get, apparently, because they drop below even the big bones on the drop pile, and the pile's arranged by high alch value.

Nice one! That always seemed strange to me, Presto's about as far from heavy metal you can go without being classical. BTW, it also won for Best Album Cover. Here's a double question for you: How many Junos have Rush won, and how many Best Instrumental pieces have they been nominated for? (They've never won a best instrumental - stupid judges =D)

Very, very highly doubtful. Seriously, that would take more programming than Jagex really would ever feel like doing, and would be truly pointless. I think for this project you probably need to kill fire giants. It's pointless to compare drops of fire giants to spiritual mage drops.

Well, then all our HYPOTHETICAL person would have to do would be go back to the place under the gnome maze where the HYPOTHETICAL found person found Golrie, get the pebble, go back to Glarial's grave and use this HYPOTHETICAL pebble to get in and steal the amulet again. I'm getting started on my giants now, I hope I make it through the thousand without dying :D .

Jagex have confirmed that there are only two 'wheels' to choose from. Anyways, just visit the topic 'Ring of Wealth: Recruitment Stage' to help out in proving this. We're testing it on lots and lots of fire giants. =D

[/hide] No offence but if you go in chat on a perm muted account you are taking up space. Is it possible to fill up a chat channel? I'm thinking 100 players is max, but I dunno... Anyway, if that's true, Lightning has never been anywhere NEAR full. I've never seen more than thirty people in there. Sometimes, it's been as low as five people (after Halo 3 came out :D ). Anyways, it really doesn't matter, as it'll never fill up, whether a muted player's on there or not.

They're in the waterfall dungeon. This should be good - could be some fierce competition for giants though =D I'll go for a thousand kills for you, 500 with wealth, 500 without. I'm interested in how you're going to set up the spreadsheet, too. I'll start tonight, if the sheet's up.

I think fire giants would be the best. They have a wide range of drops, aren't too hard to kill, and I think they'll be a good test subject.

I'm interested. However, I'm only 86 combat. If you're willing to accept me, I'll be a part of the team. I need some combat experience anyways =D I think, maybe, ten people would be better for this. The results will be more conclusive.

I curled up into a ball on the couch, as tight as I could, and screamed at the top of my lungs, "Kill it! Kill it! Oh my god, please kill it!!!!" One of my friends killed it, and I refused to touch the book it had been killed with for hours afterwards. It was truly a seriously frightening experience. Anyways... That's my arachnophobe story.

Sounds awesome, they played a bunch of the same stuff they did at mine. The Limelight opening was pretty good, and YYZ and One Little Victory were awesome. I also loved Subdivisions - they played it really well. I'm sooo jealous of your t-shirt =)

LUCKY!!!! I want one =D. I absolutely LOVED the show I went to, it was so much fun! They played a couple songs I didn't think were good 'cocert songs' (Digital Man coming to mind), but they sounded GREAT! And the grand finale (One Little Victory) - simply amazing. What did they play at yours?

I'm just calculating straight through to 99. If you did FFL and then did natures for the same amount of time you would without FFL, of course you'd make money. However, I'm assuming that you stop once you reach 99, so you make less money from the FFL method. And I'm not going to do my calculations again :D

FFL is trading law runes and noted essence for more essence, over and over again. You make laws really fast, but it's not really worth the money imo. That's a lot of natures... That's what I hope to get, when I have 99. That's my long-term goal for the next year or so. Anyways, I'm using supers (3), were you too? I also have a lower agility level, but you don't really have time to charge your energy, as you're running most of the time. My calculations were almost exactly 2 supers per glory, which is one per two loads. Time yourself, if you're interested in proving me wrong, I can always use new data.

Thanks for pointing that out! That really brings the total profit up to almost exatcly 500m. I posted FFL due to a request earlier on, and because I actually enjoy doing these calculations. As to the 'pointless topic', I posted for people who are interestid in runecrafting or moneymaking through runecrafting. And pray tell, what are the 'lots more methods'? I want to know, I need money.

Wow, that's truly an IMMENSE guide. I love it. However, he didn't compare the amount of money you make getting 99. He compared methods using exp/hour and gp/hour, not the same thing I did. But, for any aspiring runecrafters out there (myself!) it's a wonderful guide, perhaps the most comprehensive one there is on the net. I'm using that guide from here on in.

I've done 50k and am aching to do more as soon as I possibly can, I love runecrafting.

Okay, here's the FFL to 91 method. Essence crafted into laws: 605,470 Essence crafted into natures: 792,400 Natures crafted: 1,584,800 Super energy cost: 1,900ea Essence crafted per super energy: Two loads Essence per load: 52 Essence crafted per super energy: 104 Total number of super energies used: 7620 Total cost of super energies: 14,476,539 Money lost making laws: 60,547,000 (605,470x100) Money made making natures before costs: 475,440,000 Money made after deductions for laws and natures essence: 335,653,000 TOTAL money made after deductions for essence and super energies: 321,176,461 Amount you lose doing this method over soloing: 152,269,299 Enjoy! I could never runecraft without super energies. I tried it once - it's so amazingly slow, I couldn't handle it. It's a slow enough skill already. Well, I assume 1.5k essence an hour, but reflecting on that, I'm realizing that I don't have a giant pouch. I'll go with 2k essence crafted per hour. If someone has a number more accurate, please tell me. At 2k per hour, it would take 723 hours, give or take lots due to different runecrafters having different speeds, etc. I'm working on adding the FFL to 91 method, it'll be up in ten minutes or so.
