reset? i don't think so.
Full Rune wouldn't be in the game for at least 3 months. Sorry, maybe I wasn't so clear about what I meant. I mean that if I made a new RS2 account (or the game was reset), I would soon have these things. Hmm... A thought just hit me. Are you saying that if the game were to be reset, there would be no full rune? That's a distinct possibility, almost definite. In that case, you're absolutely right.

POH Servants
I don't believe so, I think they just look pretty. :D Anyways, I love demon butlers

pest control
PC is fun in the short term. However, it is soooo repetitive that it gets boring fast. But it is the fastest combat exp in the game, so you might consider trying it anyways. Members is definitely worth it BTW... only $5 a month for all those features.... However, I believe you'll find if you check the Jagex rules section of the KB that AFK'ing is against the rules. So, PC is IMO a very good, albeit borng, training method.

Theiving world?
I don't believe there is, because there is not one simple way to get 99 thieving. Most will either play Pyramid Plunder or pickpocket knights, and both of these require concentration, so noboy's going to talk much anyways.

reset? i don't think so.
Why? People have worked hard for their stats, and it almost seems unfair to remove all that work from their accounts. They did it with RSC->RS2, and it worked just fine. However, it could make RS a better game.... This is definitely a great topic for debate. I personally believe stats should be transferred.

Blog of a Ninja ~94/99 Fletching~Concert time, keep bumped!~
Agreed, I dont know why but it creeps me out a bit. :ohnoes: Good luck on your goals though. Thanks! I quite like my name  Can't seem to figure it out :-k .... Doesn't creep me out at all, but maybe I'm used to it. Thank yooooouuuu! Support is always appreciated. Anyways, in other news, I've revamped my blog. I've got different goals now (no more runecrafting....... I'm not sure if this is good or bad :-k ) And I'm no longer keeping journals, though I may begin again. 99 fletching FTW!

reset? i don't think so.
As they did with RSC, they will probably leave 2 out for a while. So players likely will have a choice. Also, they will probably level transfer like they did with RS2. Nobody enjoys having all their work reset, and they would reduce their member base significantly. They would cry for a week, cut themselves, commit suicide, realise that Rs is a waste and get a life, see a psychiatrist, throw a tantrum? It can only be good for their health to stop playing Rs. Hehehe. They would commit suicide then get a life? Sounds interesting. The wonders of modern medicine........ :)

Question: Least-Admirable Skill Cape
Yes, but what's your current level? While killing for your bones may be better in the short term, you will die of boredom in the long run, and likely quit. This debate isn't about lower levels, it's about skillcapes. There isn't any reasonable way to get 99 prayer other than buying your bones. I hardly think that you can call anyone who gets 99 prayer lazy. Even with a gilded altar, it's still going to be probably near to a month of non-stop praying, playing lots. If you don't buy your bones, it's going to be literally years. You need 51,000 dragon bones to get 99 prayer. it takes more than 53,000 magic longbows to reach 99 fletching, shouldn't that make it more respectable since you need more bows AND a higher level? even more if you take the time to cut your own logs and pick your own flax. sure, fletching may be faster, but you need a higher level to make mage longs than to bury dragon bones, you also need more bows. you could also go out and just bury the 181k dragon bones, amount-wise, that could be compared to fletching 200k unstrung willows... even looking at slayer, an argument against it would be that it is just combat with less freedom. people often say that combats are easy to level, so why not slayer? Yes, but magic longbows are much faster than dragon bones, as you have to go to and from your gilded altar for every load of dragon bones, while with fletching you can just sit in the bank. And, as per the previous posts in the debate, collecting your own supplies for 99 fletching would be unimaginably boring. I suppose you could do woodcutting, but the crafting as well would likely kill you. And just the fact that you need a higher level to level up Fletching faster doesn't mean that it's more respectable. You still need the 70 construction for a gilded altar, which can be compared to 85 fletching simply in terms of adding the time required to make the money for it onto the time required to actually level it. Also, with 99 prayer, you have to be actively clicking the whole time, as compared to simply leaving your character and reading forums (my preferred method). Prayers are more likely to burn out than fletchers. So, IMO, prayer is MUCH more respecdtable.

:: tripsis :: 99 Woodcutting!
Low budget  (maybe 1m? That's if I'm very lucky...) and preferably somewhere near to 60?
-
Good guide on woodcutting?
I'd say willows by seers all the way. But I'm not a master woodcutter (68 ftl).

Miscellania Kingdom still effective?
It's also good to simply get tree seeds, as spirit, mage and yew seeds are worth quite a bundle.

dragon arrows
Actually, it requires 83 hunter to catch Dragon Implings.

*pants and gasps as if she just finished a marathon* Hehehe. Tripsis, I just finished reading every single post on this blog. (I fletch lots.......... :) ) Anyways, I wanted to say gratz on all your farming levels (and especially on planting you first spirit tree!!), and very very good luck on 99 : :D Hehehe... This is just a fun pic I made. My first 99  Also, wondered if you could give me tips on Herby? I'm only 38 :( Also also, Con and Herby capes are hawt. Hehehe.

How can I make my avatar flicker between multiple images? E.G. It starts out as one image, then turns into another. Thank you!

reset? i don't think so.
I fully agree with this. However, I'm going to have to set you right on one point. All those new players would NOT have a fair chance - the game being reset doesn't mean they will get any better at raising their stats. Those of the all-99s crowd would have a distinct advantage over the newer players, based on simple skill and experience. All of the level 3s in lumbridge simply don't know how to raise ther stats. If I (or any experienced player) made a new account, it'd soon be level 50 with its own set of full rune and all of its stats raised to some degree (unless you're a pure, in which case you'd be PKing quickly). The only problem with noobs is that they don't know how to play the game and train stats fast.

What would be the most useless item to have irl?
A fire cape. I mean, you couldn't even hang it up, it'd char all you other clothes to cinders. You'd have to keep it in a hermetically vacuum-sealed box with foot-thick anti-heat plating around it or something. It might look cool, if you could ever get it out without dying.

Post a pic of your house layout here
Here's my house, it's not much. Only 53 construction

Need help :)
As celstrana said, using mousekeys is the best way. However, you also need to set your mouse settings to one-click in the Options menu.

cheap and fast way to 61 craft
Bowstrings are definitely the most cost-efficient way, as you can actually make 90-100 gp per bowstring. D'hides are, as you say, expensive. Bowstrings aren't the fastest way, but there are definitely slower, and they're the only ones that balance efficiency with money.

reset? i don't think so.
Well, first off, Jagex would never reset the game. There are simply too many people who would quit and stop giving Jagex their $5 a month. Jagex is much too business-minded for this, and the players who have all-99s or something close to it, who have spent years on this game, would all quit. I know I'd hate it if the game were reset. However, the other possibility is Jagex releasing RS3. This, while not a distinct possibility IMO, would perhaps offer a chance for the same type of thing without so many players quitting. And, those who have spent years would still (possibly) be able to play RS2, as they had with Classic for a while. I'd be amenable to RS3, if only for a chance to try out a new type of gameplay. After all, I could still come back to RS2 if I didn't like 3! It would, however, balance the economy. There would be no more rares (Jagex has decided they should never be tradeable again), so there would be no huge transfers of millions of GP between players. Although there would not be so much oppurtunity to show off, it could bring the focus more to levels than money (which should have been the case in the first place). Money is something that anyone can get, although it is easier for higher levels. Like someone I don't know once said: And the reset of the game would not balance the highscores for long. To quote the original post: So this newfound "game balance" wouldn't last long. Even if Zezima and ten or so of the other all-99s crowd quit, there would still be people who knew how to train better than any. So, I guess I wouldn't like them resetting the game, or putting out RS3.

If you don't buy your bones, it's going to be literally years. You need 51,000 dragon bones to get 99 prayer. If you can kill 51,000 dragons, you're an extremely fast dragon killer - and you've still spent half a year. This number might be off - I have no idea how long it takes to kill a dragon. But it will probably take you at least 6 months, and then another month or two to altar your bones. You're probably going to burn out if you do this. However, 51k dragon bones costs ~75m.... and you can make this money in 400k natures, which will only take you a month or two (not doubling). You've just shortened your 99 prayer by four or five months! Why bother killing dragons? You can also get faster combat EXP elsewhere, and possibly even slayer, depending on your method. If you want combat EXP as well, do this and spend your remaining four months at pest control. You can probably 99 (or at least 90+) you combat stats, including mage and ranged, in that time. So, good luck getting your own bones - but keep in mind there are better methods.

Question: Least-Admirable Skill Cape
Nobody in their right minds would take the time to kill all the monsters (dragons/giants) and bank every bone for 99 prayer. If someone would tell me how many dragon bones you need for 99 prayer (I'm sure it's some inordinately huge number, into the hundreds of thousands), I can calculate how long that would probably take (most likely some thousands of hours) and then tell you how long it would take to get that money through runecrafting (or various other methods, as your preference runs). The second number will be the smaller, most likely somewhere around 2% of the other. I can see, however, getting the construction level for a gilded altar. That, though, doesn't necessarily constitute "hard", as 75 construction is not an amazingly tough level to get. If you can find me one person who has gained 99 prayer "the hard way", as you call it, I will be amazingly impressed.
-
Question: Least-Admirable Skill Cape
How do you not buy prayer? You have to buy the bones, and there is no easy way of doing prayer. The only thing you could possibly buy would be the construction level for a gilded altar, and the dragon bones (as compared to buying big bones or killing for bones). Herblore, however, is very respectable.
