I recently finished Underground Pass (WORSE [cabbage] QUEST EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) and i started the legend's quest. I was going to start Amik Varze's miniquest when i saw that i needed 176 quest points for the final fight against the culinaromancer on tip.it's guide for RFD Do i really need 176 qp? I have like 147 :wall: . Setups: So I was thinking about getting this setup with my current gp (around 42.5m) Neitiznot+fury+saradomin godsword+verac's skirt+fighter torso+dragon boots+berserker ring and on top of that i was planning on getting 70 prayer (2.955m) #-o . I think furies are crashing now, SGS is crashing ( i heard down to 30mish). And i've never really used a zerker ring, but i heard it is sweet for its +4 str bonus? My 2nd setup was.... Neitiznot+fury+Bandos Chestplate+Bandos Tassets+Dragonfire shield+ abyssal whip+dragon boots+zerker ring The 2nd one has killer defense bonuses and awesome strength bonuses! So you decide, which setup should I get?

Really? I'm on an iron task right now. Is it better than a whip for metals? Waaaay better. And to be on-topic: Power Amulet in p2p PvP :) Dragon SQ Shield Magic Skill :D power amulet is great for f2p, i have a lvl 50 range 2her. when i got lvl 40 ranged i kept using str amulet because i thought i could 2h higher and get a better ko. This wasn't the best choice. It's better to have better range accuracy so you can land more annoying 12s (at my 70 ranged lvl) and cancel people's lobsters so you can 2h a good 20 on them :thumbup: . I also learned to not wear leather bodies while pking on my range 2her, it's better to wear iron chainbodies because they don't have a negative range bonus and they provide added defense. and... 2 defense :lol: , one time i was at 20 hp and my opponent at 24... He ranges a 10 and i range a 12 .. i have 10 hp and he has 12 hp.. i decide to go for a ko because the fight was going on for a while.. he 2hs a 0 on me and i ko him =DD bgs, some people underrate this, it can quickly end a fight with a special of 50. but lots of times it can slap a 0....

Maybe the ge prices should be raised, or the ability for the item(s) to fluctuate should be expanded.. Last time jagex upgraded the percent movements (in price) of items, zgs shot up to like 60m (it was near 65m street at the time) and crashed and settled to its current place. Elysian shields are 1 billion gp +, and i saw a guy running through ardougne in a pvp world with full 3a (without kite) and an elysian shield on!!!!!!!!!! :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: there was an ancient mage trying to get him, too bad the ancienter couldn't throw tbs! :mrgreen:

When i rejoined RS I joined a merchanting clan. I joined the forums for the clan and I have posted several times. After almost losing money on the first item, i left the clan. One of my friends in the clan, he is a general, got permanently banned because someone reported him. He then posted the I.Ps of the reporters on the website for hackers to get at. I left that merchanting clan for another one and it kind of makes me think.... Could i get hacked if someone had my I.P address? I saw a video on youtube about the guy who had the first elysian shield. In the video, he logs in and it shows his IP address in the video and people posted.. "I WILL HACK YOU". Does it help that I have good antivirus/internet security (Norton)? Does it help that I have a W.E.P on my wireless? ...and i heard that hackers can crack bank pins on rs banks..... :o thanks for your help!

tip: use whip on pvp world, everyone by about now doesnt safe, if you do find a safer, call them a safernoob and move on, when you find someone who doesnt safe, piety, ags spec twice, teleport. rofl.. you would do that.. [insidejoke]aimbot noob -.-[/insidejoke]

yes switch to firefox. ranarrs are being hoarded by merchants so those are no good atm.. toadflax could be an alternative. Try decanting potions? there are videos on youtube decanting- turning 4 potions with 3 doses into 3 potions with 4 doses each. If the potion is going up, buy the 3 dose version for a little over middle price, decant, and sell vials at min and potions (4) a little below max. sometimes this can make 1.2m/hour with no skill. You go to Brugsen brusen (SP???!?!!?) near the ge, he runs the herb part of the ge. Right click him and he will have an option which says "Decant". click that and he will sort your inventory in 1-2 seconds. Then bank. Repeat until all done. Sorry for you loss!

i might do Fury+torso+verac's skirt+sgs Fury+torso+bandos tassets+bandos godsword and use the money leftover for merchanting.. i just reached 38.5-39m today. :mrgreen:

this thread got pretty long :lol: I tryed an sgs, my friend loans me it for 20k/h :mrgreen: i was in the duel arena with full void and i survived dclaw specials from a guy with 99 att/str. I blame my survival on the sgs's specials.. Btw, aren't the bandos chestplate and tassets subject to merchanting? meaning there can be huge rises or falls? I dunno, haven't watched them in a while. So what i'm being suggested to do is.. get a fury? get an sgs? get verac's skirt? (imo, tassets look pretty ballin' with a torso)...dboots of course...rune gloves :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: btw, i already have a torso.. so should i just stick with that?

with my stats, could i get onto a good gwd team with an sgs? or should i use full bandos+bgs for gwd. (i'm thinking sgs because of its special)

farm herbs, merchant on the ge and fishing monkfish should get you some money.

Last time i posted here i was looking for ways to turn my 17-19m into 45m for an Sgs! Well, I have about 37m now from merchanting. (I usually make lots more with guthan now :mrgreen: ) well anyway, I'm approaching 45m for an sgs (by the time i hit 45m, i hope the sgs will have crashed) and I'm wondering... should i get full bandos (Bandos Chestplate+Bandos Tassets+Bandos Godsword) or a Saradomin Godsword (which i'll use with a torso+neitiznot and Torag's Legs). I also have void melee if that helps with the sgs :-s . I'm not much of a slayer i guess, i'll do a task every now and then.. nothing too hardcore. I like minigames like castlewars and pest control. PvP minigames are my favorite =P~ . So, why do you think i should get full bandos over a saradomin godsword? (Sgs special is..... 50% of special bar and takes 1/2 of the inflicted damage (CAN BE MORE IF THE TARGET HAS LESS HITPOINTS THAN THE POSSIBLE HIT) and adds that to your health and takes 1/4 of the damage and adds it to your prayer?)

Which reminds me, *hearsay info:* Enchanting diamond bolts gathers 150k xp p/hour. Much more than alching, but I dont think its as much as stringing ammies (?), if you havent done lunar diamond bolts is a great way to go. i think my total xp for diamond enchants was 250k xp an hour and 301.5k cash or vice versa. I got intense cash and xp. btw i used a clicker so i got more xp than most people #-o but diamond bolts are like -109k per 1000 casts. i think it is comparable to high alches because the spell gives 67000 xp per 1000 casts for 109k loss. and alch gives 55000 per 1000 casts for a (100,000 loss?) emerald bolts are good every now and then.

congratulations!! i remember when i got my first whip.. i have a screenie of 70 attack and a trade of the whip somewhere on my computer (as well as a pic from rsc of me getting an r2h!). I would of recommended cyclops in the warrior's guild, those were great for me. try raising your strength and defense there!

ray and kellis, take this to a pm and spam there. w24 castle wars, i enjoyed alching there. btw check the markets for enchant diamond/emerald bolts. when i did it [diamond] i gained 301.5k experience an hour and 250,000gp! =P~ farming herbs is good also, always nice to be there when they get diseased. one time, i used an autoclicker, which i didn't mean to use :^o , and alched in zammy gwd. I came back and decided to get a kc of 40 because i friends were killing kril. I walk in and i alch in the corner of the boss room and occasionally slap kril with my staff. Always entertaining and mixes up the monotony of alching. (kinda scary when your risking mils of items). Had i stayed there longer, i would of gotten 100k! (split of spear). btw auto clickers are bad, i have had up to 20 days worth of bans from them (because i could NOT stand the monotony of alching 25,000 longbows. even though some have eaten through 100,000 without any mental injury.)

either way, it's going to take a sum of cash.
