I have.. I cried at the end when the hound and the main character died leaving her brother and the princess to live... Also I do not remember that which Halo speaks of. The only important "hound" in the series is a human and only one of the direwolves die sepparate from their owner... Then there's the fact that there are more than 15 main/point-of-view characters. I think you've mistanken the series.
