  1. Gaurdians of Faith seem to be the most popular clan for DKing but im not 100% sure but it seems to be a pretty select clan. The requirements for it are: (Copied and pasted from their site) To join the GoF clan, you will need: - At least 100+ combat; - With 80+ defence; - And 80+ ranged OR magic; - And 60+ prayer - And two people who can vouch for you. - Access by any IRC chat (SwiftSwitch/IRC) to #Goffate and #G.o.f There seems to be a fair few members of them based in TIF including such people as Jordanweb and Sheynara. Maybe if they were ok with it you could ask them some questions about GoF
  2. Irons are best option imo.... If you mage or range you only pay 2k per pot..... The d bones dropped would cover the costs alone of using anti-fire pots and you could just range using bone x-bow.
  3. Im pretty sure you could DK without Guthans but you wouldnt last as long.. for example if you look at tip.it guide the less risk armour used is full rune and also since you dont have 55 slayer you cant use magic dart which seems to be the most common spell used against DK's
  4. Im guessing the reason you cant craft laws is due to troll stronghold quest not been done?..... if so it is a very easy quest do and worth it. That thing on people saying stuff about nats..... speculation -.- . Jagex hasnt mentioned anything yet on what runes will be needed so my advice is to build up a stack of about 10k of every decent rune such as Cosmics... Laws... Natures... Chaos and if you can make deaths that would be a good idea aswell because when summoning comes out if it dos use any of those runes all of a sudden there will be great demand for a product where theres not much quantity...... But then again we dont even know if summoning will use runes so your kinda stumped there But even if it dosnt use runes you would then have a hell of alot of magic exp sitting in your bank
  5. Then the only other option i can think of is to do Barrows to make your money and you could use Guthans as a goal. keep barrowing till you get full Guthans and Ahrims needed for slayer and sell anything else you get along the way, i would also advise getting your slayer to level 55 for magic dart.. Then barrows pretty much pays for itself in terms of runes needed for each trip. Either way good luck getting all the gear you need.
  6. No..... The other die i got killed by a 3 man team... all with 99 str, low def and 60 att in the 55-100 area
  7. Really your in the same bot as me man, your tired or RCing, looking for a good source of income to buy some expensive items. Really the only huge sources of income ive seen out there are monster hunting and the only one i think you could even do so far would be Dk's or barrows. Quite randomly im around your stats and hoping to do DK's sometime, PM if you would like to go with me as im trying to find a duo mage partner
  8. TBH man if you cant even get to level 85 (25% towards any 99) then a level 99 isnt for you..... period Even cooking or fletching would take about 3-4 times aslong as 71 hunter takes.... also they require money to get aswell Im also guessing you only want the 99 for the skillcape so First of all nobody really respects easy 99's anymore (I.E. cooking or fletching) even though it is still a achievement Second of all what sense of achievement will you get from having a pixelised cape on your back which you know was easy to achieve?
  9. Yes.... even more so it seems there teams of 99 STR pures of 99 range, mage etc etc pures Like seriously..... WTF were jagex thinking making it multi combat?...... Thats what clan wars is for
  10. I remember seeing someone who recently got 99 herblore saying that making super energy pots is the way to go, buy the avantoes roughly 1.5k ea (?), collect the seconds needed from mort myre and buy the vials from the GE, there only something like 95gp ea. Then sell the pots for 1.9k ea on the RSOF forums So you could even make a small profit if you have the patience to collect the seconds yourself
  11. Have you considered the DFS with dragon scimmy instead of saradomin sword. The DFS gives a +7 str bonus and when fully charged is the best shield in the game. Another thing is imo str isnt really essential, like my long term goals right now are 90 DEF and ATT with only 80 STR. So you could just use a whip with DFS maybe after you get 80 STR if you wanted. In terms of your equipment it seems good but i would swap the glory for a fury, i think it gives a +8 str bonus (?) but also good DEF stats. Furies also seem pretty stable in terms of their price, the only time i have ever seen a significant fall in them was the unlimited stock shop update. Hope those are bad enough thoughts for you and good luck with slayer
  12. +1 0/10 because you called the guy a few posts above me a nerd. Plus your grammer and spelling aren't great. Im sorry but since when has rating a characters stats and banks become about his grammar, actions and spelling. As i said already decent Woodcut etc. dont mean to spam
  13. Pretty nice... that pic brings back some good memorys of that training spot lol. P.S ineventably some people will flame you but dont listen to them :XD:
  14. Ok, everyone has the definitions, mine just seems to be what the majority define a price crash as, sorry if i caused offence :wall:
  15. WOW..... like wow.... seriously.... wow.... holy crap..... wow =P~ So what are you going to spend that 135million on? farming and crafting skillcapes look pretty nice  off-topic: Its always amazed how such wealth can be given to a person after a 40 second fight (?).... dont mean that as a flame or anything. EDIT: i got bored so i just added up the drops you have gotten in your sig using rough market prices...... dude your pulling in 520,000- 570,000gp per trip gross...... your sir are my inspiration =D> to keep playing rs and turn my character into a high leveled player.... Thank you.... lol
  16. LMAO......... coming from a person who is only featured for runecrafting.... buddy your total isnt even ranked LMAO. OT: very nice achievement, your combat skills are pretty nicely grouped, get 70 prayer so you can use piety . Good luck on 85 and who gives a rats [wagon] if your total is low. You prefer combat than skilling obviously :XD:
  17. Obviously you dont know what a price crash is.... a price crash is when prices fall hugely. If macroers were banned then items like logs... ores... flax and bs.... rune ess... d bones for example, these prices would fluctuate hugely and drive prices up by about 20-30% of what they are now. Take a look at the recent fluctuation of d bones for a good example, last week they were 1.55k ea, now they are 2k ea Since the macroers would be banned the demand for the items would stay the same but the supply would plummet, therefore the prices would go upwards by a fair bit
  18. This probaly sounds stupid but its the only idea i can come up with since solidus has already pointed out lootshare is a joke Maybe we should be able to transfer money between accounts while jagex logs any drop with a value of over 1mil. This way you could fill out a form on the main page declaring how much you would like to send. It would look something like this RSN Name to send funds to = kranked1 Amount of gp to send = 1.55mil Reason = Dragon axe drop at Dk, duo mage team, spliting winnings Now the only problem is that this would probaly not work as it would be to much work for jagex but if they logged all drops over 1mil and who is in what clan chat each time it could possibly work :-k I know.... stupid idea but theres not many alternatives -.-
  19. Yet your character dosnt feature for anything =D> 80 wc is decent enough but seriously you cant be expecting highscores for a decent non buyable and 2 not so good buyables. As its been said get your non buyables up and you could get a good rating
  20. To be honest i agree with kobbo, im not trying to turn this topic into a flame war or anything but all you do pure is go around posting irrelavent comments on peoples topics to put them down, grow up and be social for once. I know what i said was complete and utter hypocrisy but it had to be said as im getting tired of pure trying to put people down :shame:
  21. Jagex wont even take you seriously if you dont use proper spelling. Im sorry but just wont work, it was like that guy who tried to boycott runescape for a day. So basiclay this is a crash and burn topic :boohoo:
  22. Thats great this is way i love the update already, whats the max hit of a reverant without wearing armour? Your not going to believe this but so far ive been hit in the mid 20's by them and ive seen pics of a guy in full d'hide getting hit 39 :ohnoes:
  23. You can get your pouches back now?..... thats excellent, RCing will be just to easy now :D but then again i just got hit a 25 by a reverant ghost thing. Off topic: i just saw you in edge while i was rcing...... oh the irony (sp?) of life
  24. Yes the new monsters are very powerful but so far ive seen none in attackable distance of the running route of RCers
  25. What made me say that is the new wildy update -.-. Now the only place where pking can exist is in the clan wars area or bounty hunter mini-game. The abyss is no problem at all, ive done 100's of runs and never gotten killed once as the abyss monsters are very weak
