Have you tried GWD? or PVP?, at your stats you would fair well on both of these

If you are looking for pros/cons then technically you should train atk first, then str, and finally finish off with def rather than fight controlled

er... +1 ? Your non-combat stats are not very good, all i can see is GOP which has already been mentioned. Your melee stats are quite nice, you should consider combat as a means to get money.

the fastest way is definately not gold w/ gaunts; its beaten even by steel plates and sc hammers (which is actually a good way to train) Oh yeah forgot about those #-o

One reason why RS is so popular is that it is so set apart from all the modern RPG's, everything from its Graphics to skill system is unique and simple. But should that apply to the players controls? Currently, there are only 4 "buttons" used in RS... (not including f1-f12 and esc) Analog Stick 1 (mouse) Analog stick 2 (arrow keys) Button 1 (left click ) Button 2 (right click) Should there be hotkeys to accomodate easier playing and gamepads? I personally would think it awesome to be able to play RS with a gamepad but having to use the "mouse" all the time can get annoying. Here are some example hotkeys... 1. Use Spell (ie. have a spell pre-chosen to cast at the click of a button) 2. Switch weapons (switch between whip and DDp++) 3. Use item (similar to use spell but with items) 4. Its not my internet connection ;) EDIT: Seems fine now, I found out that it runs the best on HD-Small. The only problem is when you teleport or come to a new area it loads slow. Thx for all the help :mrgreen:

WHat OS are you using, i have had that problem too (but it didn't noticably affect anything)

Windows XP pro SP3 Firefox 3.5 768 mb ram AVG free anti-virus -No other processes are using the cpu (in tsk manager java[Caution: Executable File] is using 90% cpu, firefox the other 10%) - i am using no sound card (using the one built in to the mother board) - and i have a 2.5+ mbs DSL I will try opera and chrome to see if that helps PS. actually i am only playing it on my VGC (Virtual Game Console [NES, SNES, gaming] ) computer until my mom finally lets me play on hers (now that she found out if she doesn't install java i wont be able to play RS) -.- which it works fine on...

Is there any tweaks I can do to make java/runescape run better on this pc? I can Play (on SD) but it takes a long time to load and its its sort of choppy (not unbearable thank goodness). I can skill but i find it too risky to even attempt any type of pk'in. Any help?
