About your FOG games, 70+ magic helps ALOT. I have 70 mag and i hit double digits with fire blast very often. Make sure you have AT LEAST lvl2 explorers ring and sinced your mining your own essence you should do earth's + varrok tele.... with double earths at lvl 26 you actually profit
